So, If you are seeking an "active" type of vacation it' s not for you. There's only one club in the hotel. All other means of connections with world is very hard to get/find. No FREE internet, only in the lobby, it is very slow and the "internet room" is quite expensive $5 for 30 min. You better withdraw cash BEFORE coming to Punta Cana. Because using […] credit cards is not so popular there. And there only ONE ATM in the whole hotel area and it's not so reliable. Get, mosquito repellent, shampoos and etc. BEFORE coming to Hotel. Staff at the reception counter were very unfriendly. They would not answer any of our questions directly. Internet was promised but not given. When we were willing to pay for the Internet, they told us that nothing could be done in the absence of the cash as dollars. When we complained then they told us that 90 min were available free for everyone. […] So we had to complain to get anything done. Phone line was locked although they kept lying. This Riu does not have the same appeal or quality as the other 4 we have had the pleasure of staying at. The room was not as advertised, we were given a twin and single as our beds that could not be pushed together. ( Married couple) The room was smaller than what we were used to. lack of dresser space. There was a constant sewer smell that wafted up […] to the room every night. The food here is bland, uninspiring and the same everyday. Very disappointing. There is a mini bar in the rooms but no ice machines available anywhere! And for The Americans out there there are NONE at the Riu Naiboa, we literally met one couple the week we were there. The hotel staff was the best I ever had. Very friendly polite welcoming. The food was to die for. Every dish was delicious. The entertainment staff was very interesting. They got the guest engaged including the rooms attendant dancing. It was really fun in this sense. However I was disappointed with the location. It is not a beach front which for me […] is a turn off . Had to walk to the beach. The all inclusive concept is fake because I had to pay for my drinks at the disco which is unnaceptable. All inclusive means you never touch your wallet. I go on vacation at least 8 times a year to resorts and I can tell you I will not be back. I even had to pay cash two nights to enter the disco. Supposedly there was a strip show . The beds in the room were very uncomfortable. The room and the lobby full of Mosquitos at nite. I got beaten many times. I go on vacation all over the world at Riu. Been to Montegi Bay Negril Cancun and Los Cabos. The Naiboa is a shame to the Riu brand as Riu means luxury. And worst of all that was the most that I paid for a Riu and the worst experience I had. I want to make sure that customers don't book with them and I will write to Riu the corporate as well as that hotel in Dominican republic should have never been called Riu. . What a shame... The hotel was beautiful. The staff didn't speak too much english, but they tried to understand what I was saying and respond accordingly. The pool is beautiful, but went mostly unused due to the hotel's close proximity to the beach (an 8 minute walk). The grounds were clean, staff courteous. The Riu Naiboa is much smaller than the other Riu properties. […] The grounds had only 3 restaurants and 3 bars. It's perfect for a short trip, but if you're going for an extended period of time, you might want to choose a hotel with more variety. (We stayed for 3 nights and were fine). Also, wifi is only available in the hotel lobby, which can be a pro or a con depending on how much you want to stay connected to "the real world". Everyone was professional, but a restaurant worker, named Yokander we believe, who was offensive, gross, and disrespecful with us and the rest of his coworkers, yelling, using gross language, showing lack of control, please do something about it, cause people might want to go somewhere else next time. A pesar que la mayoría de la gente que trabaja ahí fue muy amable y servicial, esperaba más de un hotel "Riu". Es 4 estrellas solo por los servicios ofrecidos no por la calidad de ellos. La comida muy poco variada. Para colmo me pareció ver un ratón dentro del hotel. Si me preguntaran si volvería, creo que lo pensaría diez veces antes de hacerlo.

L'hotel Riu Naiboa n'a pas répondu à mes attentes,c'est un petit 3étoiles je n'appelerai pas ça un 4 étoiles. La nourriture est très moyenne et ne varie guère et je ne suis pourtant resté que 4jours . Ce fut une énorme frustration et deception de se rendre compte que dans la discothèque Pacha commune aux 5 hotels du complexe,nous n'avions pas droit […] aux consommations, quand les autres clients des autres hotels buvaient à volonté,nous devions payer nos consommations,nous avons aussi du payer l'entrée de la discothèque le samedi soir,ce n'est pas normal pour un hotel dit all inclusive. L'hotel est tres petit avec une seul piscine il faut marcher environ 5minutes pour accéder à la plage. Il n'y a qu'un seul restaurant.Je recommande de payer 100 euros de plus et d'aller dans un autre hotel du complexe comme le riu macao qui m'a paru tres bien de l'extérieur . Jétais déja allé dans de nombreux resorts de la République Dominicaine,à Boca chica,juan dolio,samana,la romana et bayahibe,et parmis les 4 étoiles le riu naiboa etait nettement au-dessous. Les points positifs c'est que le personnel est très agréable,il est à l'écoute, et met tout en oeuvre pour satisfaire tous les clients. L'animation est tres bien,les spectacles proposées sont de bonnes qualités. Ce n'est pas le pire des hotels ça reste moyen,c'est bien pour le prix mais on pourrait ésperer mieux d'un 4étoiles.
