Nice place. Walking distance to metro. If you do not have heavy suitcases then take the metro from Airport instead of cabs. Great spread for Breakfast buffet. We had a suite. Only one bathroom. An extra half bath would be prefect or at least an extra sink (instead of a lot of cupboard space). Friendly and helpful staff.

NH Barajas offers a magnificent breakfast buffet every day of the year, from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 11:00 and on weekends and holidays from 7:30 to 11:30. NH Barajas Restaurant, open from Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner, from 13:30 to 16:00 and from 20:00 to 23:00, offering a very appetizing and economical menu of Mediterranean cuisine. In addition, we offer a wide variety of menus for both family events and for meetings and Business Lunch or Dinners, and coffee breaks or special services, being open to any suggestions you may request. The hotel bar is the perfect place to enjoy the end of a day's work, open Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 16:00 and 19:00 to 23:00.

Recreation

Only 5 minutes walking from the Hotel, you will find the Metro station "El Capricho", which will connect you directly to the center of Madrid Gran Via, an important leisure and shopping area of Madrid. In the center you can enjoy a thousand of shops, theaters, cinemas and restaurants. Near the hotel is also located "Plenilunio" mall, where you can find a wide variety of fun and entertainment and may make several purchases on clothing and accessories. Very near the hotel you can visit the Capricho Park, one of the most beautiful parks of Madrid built in the XIX century. And that is an example of wilderness and emblematic. If it wasn't for the staff this would receive a rating of a 1. The facilities were okay, room was actually quite clean despite the fact that is was like a sauna in there even with the air conditioner on. The internet went out for the night so that was a huge downer since my friend had a project he needed to get done. The rooms were not great, but the […] redeeming factor was the incredibly friendly staff. They allowed us to check in early and that was amazing since we took a night train and we wanted a shower. Anyways I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Read more

But besides their permanent angryness something that really anoyed me was that we were not advised to reserve the transportation to the airport by the staff. The sound isolation is bad. We were hearing from the other rooms. We were also thinking people were trying to enter our room, when they were entering other rooms. It's near the airport, so it's ok for one night. For the free WIFI in the lobby, you have to ask for a password each 30 minutes.

The hotel was very nice, the staff was fantastic. The hotel was located in "no-mans-land" but 3 minute walk to the metro and the "Green Line" take you straight in to Gran Via (Center) I can really recommend this hotel to anybody.
