"Hilton Sharks Bay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 27, 2012
My husband and I spent a long weekend in February 2012 at the Hilton Sharks Bay Resort. The weather was a bit cooler than we would have liked, but we still got plenty of sun. Our room was large, comfy and clean, located on the new side of the resort closer to the mountains. The heated pool had hot water coming into it from tiny vents, but it wasn't enought to actually heat the entire pool, which was very large, and one of three on the new side. The wind coming off the mountains was a bit chilly and sometimes very strong. We discovered that the pool area on the old side of the resort, closer to the sea and blocked from the mountains by the main buildings, had less wind and was typically warmer. If you're a big baby like me you may want to find a spot by the pool on the old side to stay a bit warmer while you sunbathe. Unfortunately, the old pool is not heated, so it was a bit chilly, but still a fun swim with a swim up bar. The resort's beach was very tiny, so if you intend to spend most of your time in the Red Sea you may want to stay at a hotel with a larger beach. We had an all inclusive package, so all our meals were included, except for their one specialty restaurant. The food was typically bland, probably so that it was edible by a greater range of people. The pastries at breakfast were excellent and the made to order eggs were good too. The specialty restaurant, which we paid for, was Houses of Asia. It's food was typical of Chinese/Thai/Indian take away, but twice as expensive. If you're really in the mood for Asian food, go for it, but don't be surprised that it's not a mind-blowing experience. The staff at the hotel were always very nice and helpful and the hotel itself, both old and new sides, were clean and very well kept. The entire experience was very good and except for the chilly weather (goes hand in hand with a February vacation), the very small beach, and the generally bland food, we'd recommend this hotel.

"Nice stay"Reviewed by Khaled H of "Boston" on Nov 12, 2011
Well here is my honest rating.. the hotel has amazing views there are two sections for this hotel with a free running shuttle in between. I will recommend you to stay in the sport section , its much cleaner and better food, you can always take the shuttle and use the other part of the hotel its 3 minutes away. Related to service its top notch , I used to work in the hotel business for years and that's by far one of the best I've seen. Related to activities , you won't find more activities than this hotel , I mean they have horse back ridding for god sake..:) , now couple of tips ,, the hotel is located 10 minutes by car from sharm downtown (naama bay) so make sure you arrange transportation and try not to get a joining room as there is plenty of smokers and the cigarette smoke comes from the adjacent room so I had to put a wet towel under that door,, just minor stuff but honestly I stayed in 5 hotels in sharm and this is THE BEST.. enjoy ur trip.

"Hyatt Regency a sure pick"
After a disappointment from another hotel, coming to Hyatt Regency in Sharm el Sheikh was a big relief. The hotel was absolutely stunning and everything ran very smoothly. The only downer was the internet, which varied quite much in speed and performance. Overall, a great hotel. Would go back.
