Great suites! Nice size rooms. We loved the living area with eat-in dining and kitchenette. Fantastic for families. Great value with free parking and made to order breakfast daily. Staff accomidating. Would stay again.

This is a no-frills hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was very inexpensive, the staff was courteous, the room was very clean. Breakfast was very basic, just milk., (fake) juice, coffee, muffins and cereal, but you can't ask for more for the room price.This hotel is within walking distance of ASU/Barrett, so it was convenient for us. I have stayed at a different hotel across the street (something University), and it was terrible, where I decided to leave a day earlier and loose a prepaid night because I could not stand the smell. Overall, I will stay at this hotel on my upcoming visits.

Cascades Poolside Bar/Snack Bar - Open seasonally.
Designed in 1957 by Arizona legend Johnny Bulla, the resort's 18-hole, PGA-rated, championship golf course is a parkland-style layout with broad green fairways, mature trees, and water obstacles. Facilities include a driving range, two practice putting greens, two bunkered practice-chipping greens, and a golf shop. Instruction and rental clubs and shoes are available.
A freeform outdoor pool includes a 75-foot, two-lane lap-swimming section, with an adjacent spa tub and a sundeck with turquoise-tiled waterfalls at one end. The resort's small fitness room provides a treadmill, stair machine, recumbent bike, and weight-training machine.
Resort activities are offered Monday-Friday and include yoga and Pilates classes, poolside barbecues, arts and crafts, and nine-hole golf tournaments (surcharges may apply).
Guests can request discounted passes to a full-service racquet and fitness club a quarter-mile away, providing 16 lighted tennis courts, seven racquetball courts, classes, locker rooms with saunas and spa tubs, and extensive fitness equipment.

We were really impressed with the quality for the price, and the great staff. Thrilled to have a suite with a living room area and kitchenette! Bathroom was huge. Also really enjoyed the private patio area. Very close to shopping. The front desk staff was great, they let us check in very early so I could get the kids down for nap. "Was expecting more"
I think our experience would have been more positive if we hadnt been put into a unit that was very far away from everything. There was no parking at our unit so every time we needed the car, which was frequently as we were there in business, we had to walk long ways. On a positive note the staff agreed to move us to a much more convenient unit the […] very next day. Our AC stopped working one night at the second unit and we spent a miserable night in a 95 degree room. It was fixed the next night. The service at the outdoor bar where they served breakfast was terrible. We ended up eating all our meals other places due t the slow service. Waiting time to get a drink at the bar was so long that we simply gave up. Many times the bar was open but there was no bartender at all. Result: we left the resort for our drinks. Also the bar closed at 8! The resort itself was pretty and the golf course very beautiful. Rooms were large and comfortable. And the staff very accommodating and friendly. I don't think I will stay here again though. This is a time share property but there are no persistent sales reps around. They ask you once at arrival if you are interested and if not they leave you alone which we appreciated. Read more

"Great golf course, good for the deal"
The room was spacious particularly for the money. The golf course was like playing on carpet! The beds unfortunately were very uncomfortable. The hotel style is dated. Perfect place for a boys golf vacation.

All was okay here and the beds were super comfy. Biggest issue for us was walking. I had read this in other reviews, but I'm a runner & my husband is an avid cyclist and I thought it wouldn't be too bad. It was tough for our 4 & 6 year old! The hotel acommodations were great. Beds were comfortable and management was courteous. The only downside is that there needs to be more staff on duty after hours and the resort needs a breakfast bar on sight.

Totally enjoyed our wedding anniversary at the Orange Tree Resort, from the smells of lovely orange blossoms to the lovely golf resort landscaping, to the updated, spacious suite! The jacuzzi tub for two was a bonus that we were not expecting. Great service and setting.

"Stayed during family member's wedding week"
The best part about the stay was the room itself. We were there for several days and stayed in a 1BR suite that had a separate living and kitchen area as well as a nice terrace. The bathroom was very large and included a shower as well as a jetted tub. Condition of room was excellent and kitchen had everything we needed. Tempur-pedic bed was new for […] us but no better or worse than getting used to any new bed. Service was good; only minor complaint is that room was not ready when we arrived at 3:30pm; we had to wait for cleaning to be completed. Surrounding area is not particularly interesting although there was plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Okay, most of the guests are staying for the golf. But we stayed a saturday night here to get away from our kids and have some "Mommy and Daddy" romantic time. "Comfortable stay"
Ive stayed at this resort a couple of times now, and it's always been good for the value. The tempur pedic beds are really comfortable and testing one made me want to get one of my own. The parking situation is funky, as the parking area is really far from some of the rooms. The bell staff will take you to and from your room in golf carts, though. The […] only other issue I had was that even though the rooms are all non smoking, the patios are not. If you're sharing a patio with a smoker, then you may not be able to use it, especially if you're sensitive to smoke. Read more

What a pleasant place to stay - very comfortable, great room with fridge and microwave. Current movies are available for free. "LOCAL COMFORT"

My husband and I stayed at the Orange tree golf resort the week prior to Christmas winter 2011, our accommodations were great. Our stay was part business part pleasure. If I had any complaints was the resturant was not what I thought it would be, and the bar area was under construction. I throughly enjoyed my stay.

Property is very quiet, in a residential location but very close to Paradise Valley Mall and north Phoenix and north Scottsdale shops. Wonderful bedding and updated rooms. You do not need to golf to enjoy this resort.

This hotel is going currently through some remodeling in the registration/lobby area. It seems that a restaurant or bar will be added soon which will make a big difference since there is no place to eat (except in the golf club) inside the facility. This hotel is located centrally to some great golf courses in Scottsdale, AZ and great restaurants. Even as a female I felt comfortable jogging out in the neighborhood by myself with the map the hotel gave me for a 5k run. The only drawback is the distance from the office to your room or car. Be aware that the hotel is under renovations so the hotel lobby, bar and restaurant are non-existent.

I recommend this resort to everyone!! We had an awesome stay, the room was amazing and perfect for us (3 adults, 3 kids). My only complaint was having to walk so far from our car to our room, but the bellmen were always willing to come get us and help with luggage! Great stay!!
