Shower was not cleaned after prior occupant. There was old soap and shampoo still in the shower. The bed linens appeared to not been changed as there was sand or grit in the sheets, and they just looked dirty and brown.Genuine Expedia guest review

The ac didn't work in the room and about 5:00 the morning i woke up from sweating to death. Only thing i was told when checking out was sorry. Very comfortable stay, and the staff was very accommodating. We were in town for a funeral and the hotel manager was more than willing to give us a late checkout time due to the fact that we didn't have anywhere to be between the viewing and the funeral service. "Living up to expectations - and more"
Although one of a huge chain of hotels, in atmosphere this is like an old fashioned hotel managed by its owners, such as I have sometimes found in Europe. The receptionists and manageress seems to take a personal concern for and interest in the well being of their guests, without in any way being invasive. The level of hospitality is outstanding. If you like friendly service, staff who don't just say, "Have a good day", but who remember when you come in what you were planning to do, and who ask, "How did it go?" then this hotel is for you.
