On arrival at the hotel you are aware that its set in lush tropical surroundings, pools are fantastic, staff very attentive, everything looks great. The room itself was clean and well appointed (lotus wing) with large bed but a bit hard. Wasn't sure about the sliding panel between the bathroom and bedroom though. The food and drink is very expensive and dont forget 17% is added to all the prices, which is why we ate out most nights. Karen town is 10 minutes walk away and most people didnt seem to stay, which is a shame as the hotel laid on entertainment every night. Beach is just across the road which is not a problem. Wasn't happy when they started to close restaurants and pool bars in the hotel while we were there (april) but overall we had a good time. Karen town was a bit dead in the evening but Patong was about a 10 minute taxi

The hilton phuket Arcadia Resortwas magnificent, as it is tucked away from the hustle and busy areas, yet still close enough to enjoy Phuket. Near Karon beach, and just south of Patong beach it is ideal for a great wonderful relaxing stay. The Rooms are plush and hardwood floors and they all have a view. We originally wanted a view of the ocean, but the garden view was even lovlier than we could imagine. three or four pools were always in use and the breakfast was the best, as we did not want to leave. The juice was fresh squeezed and they use all of the fruit, core and all. It was great. The rain-type shower and magnificent bathroom was the best. Over-sized pillows (4) on the king bed mad it a delight sleeping at night. The balcony was set up perfect and the good news is, that the sun shined every day. A little disappointed with the beach, as it is not Hotel property but none-the-less, just across the street and very un-crowded. My wife had the Massage done and said it was the best feeling ever. Highly recommend it and we will be going back to stay there. Thank you Hotels.com

Loved the pools which were placed in areas to resemble lagoons. Beach wasn't too far. Restaurant and deli were good. Bed was very comfortable, and bathrooms were up-to-date and modern. Complaints: There's no mention on the website of how to get to the hotel from the airport, nor did it mention there's a Hilton customer center at the airport to arrange for transportation which is about $40-$50 to the hotel (unless you get a shred ride to split the cost). Also, internet access was not complimentary and was about $22 per day.

great service, several good restaurants on premises, beach is beautiful and clean and definitely less crowded (more pleasant) than Patong, several pools, gym, spa, tennis courts, business center. they have everything you would want on vacation. Karon beach town area is within walking distance along the beach, in case you decide to check out some bars/restaurant/internet cafes...water and soft drinks are overprices, so is the internet service otherwise, price is reasonable for the services you get at the hotel.

Very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful hotel right on the beach however there is not a lot in the immediate area. The hotel complex is very large so it takes time to get to several areas of the hotel, they even have a shuttle to different areas of the hotel because it is so big. Most restaurants and shops are 15-20 minute walk. To get to the major tourist area of Patong it is about a 15-20 minute drive. Very close to the beach though. Nice pools, fitness area. We found the food to be very overpriced and not very good at all, one may say it was below average, however they did have a very good breakfast buffet.
