Hôtel le Dauphin by Elegancia - Puteaux

Had this hotel been in Paris proper, it would have been a 2-3 star hotel. Due to the distance from the action, it would have to be a 1-2 star. It really is only appropriate for people with business at Le Defense. The walk to the metro was 10-12 minutes. Not far, but in the evening, after walking the city of Paris all day, that walk home from the metro […] is a long one. I was a solo, female traveler, so the walk home at night was a bit dicey. As for the hotel itself...the help was sufficient. I had a single bed, expedia said it would be a full/double. My bedroom was more of a loft, up a winding, narrow stairway. I had a carry on suitcase, but any regular size suitcase would be a struggle to get up the winding staircase. The carpet was stained and old, but the bed was comfortable. The towels were white and stiff. On my last night, the maid service provided me with plush, burgandy towels. Perhaps to give me a good memory of my stay?? The lobby area was nice. Expedia said that my breakfast was included...it wasn't. The desk quoted $14 euro for breakfast. The coffee and tea was free. If your going to Paris for the sights, stay in the city. Read more

Were moved to overflow room the next street over. Room was clean with small kitchenette which was a nice bonus. Hotel staff were helpful. Location is less than ideal. Not near the metro or train station - a difficult walk with luggage. It is worth staying at this hotel just for the shower! It had little lights on the wall and the shower head changed color throughout your shower! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Also, there is a complimentary drink machine in the lobby!

This hotel is in disrepair, they claim to be upgrading and the state of the bathrooms might verify that to some degree. The rooms and hallways were the absolute smallest I have ever seen. The hotel was in a nice and safe neighborhood within easy walking distance of the Metro. The staff was very helpful and efficient. The location of the hotel was quite a distance from the train station and when unfamiliar with the location this can be expensive I would recommend doing some research prior to travel I was travelling with my sister-in-law who is treminally ill so she wanted to get to the hotel as soon as possible to rest after travelling on the Eurostar from London […] therfore hunting for a cab was not an option and we paid 160 Euro which was rather a shock. The hotel is very cosy and ideal for a short break in Paris. The rooms are on the smallside, but that's Paris, most rooms are like that, wherever you go. Ce petit hôtel est situé a, à peine 10mn à pied, de la défense. La chambre est accueillante et trés calme. Seul petit bémol, le petit déjeuner est un dans une salle un peu petite, et un peu léger par rapport au tarif.

Hotel propre, en bon état, personnel agréable. Plutot pour ceux qui ont besoin de se rendre dans le quartier (la Défense), moins adapté si on veut visiter Paris, même si l'hôtel est situé à 10 min à pied de la ligne 1 du métro. Bémol : le prix du petit déjeuner, 15€ par personne.

jeg og mannen min er veldig fornøyed med hotell.den ligger i nærigheten buss,t-bane stasjon,som du kan bruke å gå i center i Paris om 10-15 minuter. tog statjon er også i nærigheten,som kan kjøre til Versalle . Store shopping senter er ved siden t-bane med mange kjennte marker av butikker. mange kafer or restoranger er rund av hotell.

Schönes kleines Hotel mit gutem Frühstück und freiem WLAN. Zimmer nicht riesig, aber mit neuem Bad und allem drin was es braucht. Perfekt für einen Business Trip. In 5 Minuten Entfernung von der U-Bahn (Esplanade de la Défense).
