This hotel is the best in the county. The rooms are very nice and the staff is very helpful. The breakfast bar is superb. it is also next to the Meijer store and the Steak and Shake. It is also right off US 23 and OH 95 and most of Marion's activities are within a 10 minute drive.

I'm in Marion, OH almost every other weekend and I will always come back to this hotel. It was extremely comfy and clean. The breakfast was excellent as well! The only thing wrong was there was a pool, but no hot tub.

There is a disconnect between Expedia and the property regarding the actual rooms. Expedia listed a 2 Queen suite, which does not exist for this property. The Hotel staff were able to give us a suite room without issue. the other issue is that the photos clearly show a hot tub in the pool area. there was none at this property. IP availability and hot tub were the deciding factors in choosing this property, so it would be great if it were accurately represented in the Expedia web site. Hotel is the Best in Marion. However, we would have liked to know they were working on the building. We were shaken out of bed the first morning we were there by workers pounding just outside our bedroom at 6:am.

I rarely have problems with Comfort Inns. The only thing missing was the laptop tray for the bed! (Hampton Inns do provide this)

The beds were so comfortable-everything clean-pool was crystal clear and warm-the breakfast was probably the best I've had in a hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

the country inn in marion ohio is right off highway 23. easy to get to , next to resturant in walking distant, hot tub and pool. clean and quite. we always stay there when we go to marion.

The online profile for this hotel said I was reserving a suite with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. There was no sofa, so I called to the front desk and they said none of their rooms have sleeper sofas. I also asked for a non-smoking room, but was given a room that reeked of smoke. The comforter and towels smelled so bad that I'm afraid I smelled worse […] after my shower than before. They did bring an ozone machine to the room, but the filter hadn't been cleaned in forever and when I took it off to rinse it out the filter disintegrated in my hands. Wi-Fi was not working even thought the router was extrement close to our room. Hotel employees were very aware of this problem and finally provided an ethernet cable. Major inconvenience and still had very slow connection. - Also the treadmill was out of order. This is a major factor in chosing a motel. Room and bed were nice.

Always stayed at this hotel when visiting Marion. King suites have 2 separate rooms divided by french doors. Most hotels offer suites but usually have only a small divider. The main room is actually just as big as bedroom. The French doors come in handy when one person wants to sleep undisturbed and other can watch tv, surf internet (wireless or use […] an ethernet cable) or do other things. Also has pull out sofa bed if needed in main room. Both rooms have televisions so it makes it great for kids to have their own room and parents can still get some rest. If you have time to swim, then take advantage of indoor pool or jacuzzi. In morning, you can eat a full Breakfast downstairs. There is eggs, ham, cereals, fruit, bagels and also a waffle maker. I had reserved and paid for a room with a K suite online and was given a single room with two double beds upon check-in. Even though I had shown them the reservation, I was told I would have to call hotels.com and straighten it out. The staff was very rude and unwilling to help. I had just driven 5 hrs. with two small children and stood in the foyer […] on the phone with hotel.com for 45 min. because the woman who worked for the Inn argued on the phone with the rep from hotels.com I couldn't believe it. Thankfully hotels.com straightened it out and accomodated us accordingly. No apology not even a smile from the innkeeper. Some people really should not be in the business of customer service. The accomodations were great, the room was very comfortable and the pool was very clean. It certainly would have been nice to be greeted with smiles or a simple hello when coming and going. This hotel was everything we expected from the web site. I took advantage of the nice "front porch" with the bench, and ended each evening with a complementary cookie at the front desk. The room was very comfortable and the pillows were more comfortable than my own. I plan to stay at this hotel again.
