Great stay for the price. Convienent to town/hospital and local restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Trip to ECU"
This was my first stay here but it won't be my last. The room was clean and comfortable with a full kitchen. The staff was very friendly. The only downside was the tv chair was broken. I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"perfect for the price"
Rooms are a bit smelly but, we literally only slept there. Great staff & location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"ok I guess"
check in was weird...they don't have a counter, we were asked to sit in front of a desk...as if we were signing a mortgage or buying a car. Kinda unconfortable feeling. No elevator and we were on the second floor. The "check in" is in the center of the building...yet the stairwells are on the ends...makes no sense at all. The room was ok, but basic. […] Little tv/dvd combo player like you would find on an RV or boat, no pay per view. Walls are thin, could hear even the faintest of conversations in other rooms and in the hallway. we won't stay again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Woken by loud and drunken neighbors"
The worst part of the hotel experience was it's paper-thin walls, and the location of our room right over the front door. Our next-door neighbors came in to their room loudly and drunkenly at 3:30am. Loud TV, louder cursing led me to knock on their door pleading for quiet so we could sleep. College students in room next door were finally quiet well […] after 4:00 and just before police finally arrived. Front office staff next morning promised to work things out financially. They are not in hotel overnight as the office closes at 10:00. Other than that, our brief stay was fine. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Wonderful. Better than I expected."
After reading some of the other reviews I was skeptical. But, the hotel room was just the right size and it was very comfortable. There is a good sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster and a small range! That was a pleasant surprise. There are also pots and pans, plates, cups, silverware and other utensils. The room was clean and the hotel is situated […] in a great area. I'll definitely stay again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Very good for the price and if your like me I don't sleep good on hard beads the beads here are soft and comfortableGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient and Affordable"
We basically spent very little time at this hotel, but our very short observation of the accommodations were good - nothing exciting, but a comfortable bed and kitchenette amenities. It would be a great place to stay if you were there for an extended time. The interaction with the staff proved to be cordial with a hint of southern hospitality.Genuine Expedia guest review
Was ok for one night, but would not stay there againGenuine Expedia guest review
"Can you se the Sign from the road?"
I enjoyed my stay but got lost looking for the Home Suite as the sign is all but hidden behind the new bank's HUGE sign and looming building. My one complaint about the room was that the coffee pot had not been cleaned and there was still an old but not yet moldy coffee filter in the basket.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We enjoyed our stay at Hometowne Suites. The staff was over the top helpful and polite. We arrived on Tuesday and every Tuesday they have a dinner for the guests. Very centric. Everything we needed was right there on hand.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A OK for us!!"
Good stay! we travel a lot and this stay for us was very good! Had my doubts but they really came thru...seamless.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a hotel room when there were not any others. We went for Family Weekend at ECU. Hotel was in a good location and the bed and shower were surprisingly good. Could use new rugs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A real dump"
This hotel jacked up their price to almost 300 dollars when all the other hotels were sold out. It is one of those cheap hotels where business travelers can stay for 50 dollars a night for extended stays. It was dirty and had not been updated since the 1980's.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Dog friendly place near ECU"
we needed a place for the night that would let us bring our medium sized dogs, and this fit the bill without breaking the bank.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very Close to ECU/Vidant Medical Center"
There was a smell in the hallway and an odor in the room. The surround shower left much to be desired but you get what you pay for. No elevator. Walls were thin. Customer service was excellent at check in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was ok, walls was thin. You could hear everything. But over all it was not bad! You get what you pay for.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice but somewhat disappointed"
The room wasn't as clean as it could have been. The bed was made sloppy with the comforter and skirting hanging off. The bathroom wasn't cleaned too good, we had to scrub the bath tub before using and the toilet was nasty. We enjoyed our stay after doing a little cleaning of our own.Genuine Expedia guest review
A nice motel to spend a night at on your way around NC. We arrived at 10:30 p.m. and left at 7:30 a.m. and never met a staff member - it's all auto managed during off hours, so don't forget your pin to access the automated door upon arrival. Otherwise you'll need to contact an operator, who was very friendly and helpful, by the way.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Value for the price"
Went over the July 4th week. No staff was available July 4th and had to self check in. Room amenities were sparse but kitchen supplies were sufficient for basic meals. Room was clean. Bed was very firm. Good for me not for my wife. No Hair dryer or shampoos so bring your own. Location was near all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and cheap."
Advertised as a efficiency but no comfortable chair. Have to call ahead if check in after 10pm.Genuine Expedia guest review
I really just needed a bed for the night. It was clean enough & the bed was comfy. I did not actually need the "suite" amenities but they were fine. and it was cheap!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Greenville hometown suites"
My overall stay was good for the most part; however the person that was working at the desk that night was very rude. The only way I would go back to the hotel and stay is if I know for a fact that they would have somebody that know how to show respect to the customers.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The bathroom was terrible. The shower was so bad that water was not coming out. The place was also smelling.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Had All I needed"
I love the little kitchenette and the ability to make a healthy meals and not have to eat out during my two day stay. Bed could have been a little better but other than that just fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Long Term stay option near Hosptial"
This is a decent place that caters to weekly and long term stays. It's right near a big hospital center. It's not luxurious but it meets basic needs OK.God Locatoion, back off the road so it's fairly quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to just about everything!"
Having never stayed at this particular hotel before, we were very pleased with the accommodations. Since we were there for personal reasons, it made travel to and from our destinations and restaurants quick and easy. Beds are very comfortable, rooms are clean, staff is very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay was very disappointing. The hotel had elevators so staying on the second floor was impossible. The bedspreads, drapes which were dark and dreary. Don't bring a blue light you may get sick! I had to sleep in my clothes in order to sleep. Would never say here again on a visit to Greenville. Stay at the Wynngate instead you will not be disappointed […] for the price. "I do not recommend for several reasons..."
When checking in, the male person seemed to be very bored with his job and was not outgoing and although not unfriendly, just seemed very passive and unwelcoming. The manager, I presumed was also sitting there and although a bit more talkative, was not welcoming either. I asked for a handicap room with 2 beds, but the handicap was one queen so I asked […] for a rollaway for my grandson and it was delivered promptly. I was shown the other room not handicap accessible, but it was way too small for my power chair. We were there for a passing of a relative and upon arrival had to hurry to get ready for the evening visiting hours. After getting back, exhausted from the day's travel and the hours spent with family, I finally laid down on a very hard mattress. Then the noise started. The full size refrigerator rattled every time it came on. Then the air conditioner rattled very loudly every time IT came on. It was like dueling appliances! The funeral was the next morning and we readied for it and left without getting much sleep. We got back late that evening and again was reminded why we didn't sleep much the night before. I think I slept more simply because I was exhausted. The so called handicap bathroom would not accomodate my normal size power chair - I could not close the door with no real turn around room, leaving no real privacy. I told the check out person the next day and she apolgized profusely, but never again would I stay in this motel. It was not worth the price paid! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was nice ,the room , kitchen, and bathroom was clean. my only issue was the ac unit. When i entered the room it had a mildew smell. The smell was coming the the ac unit..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rancid smells and no service. Housekeeping took our towels and didnt replace them. We couldnt bathe until the front desk shift arrived.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When I got to the hotel I was given a key to one room. The room was not ready. Had to change rooms. The last booking I book with hotel.com could not stay in room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not good for single night stays"
Charges Same price as regular hotel but without any features.... No hair dryer, shampoo, breakfast, or night clerk ..... Should be less than Motel 6 priceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay was ok. I have stayed in many hotels in Greenville, NC. At each hotel, my bed was my each day. My bed was not made up on Sunday morning. Is this the normal practice. If so, I will not book at your place again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"greenville event stay......"
a very pleasant surprise! we will definetly go back next time we are at an event in greenville. the kitchenette was clean and everything worked, the beds were comfortable, especially liked that there was a seperate bedroom with it's own ac and tv. bathroom was a little on the 'quaint' side, but was clean and functional for our needs. three of us were […] not cramped and we all had a very nice two days there. "Okay, but oldish place"
Luckily, the first thing that happened was not a precursor to the rest of my visit to Greenville. It was chilly in the room when I arrived and I put up the heat and - immediately - the smoke alarm went on! Super loud and annoying, and there was a smell of smoke to boot! I wasn't sure if there was an electrical short somewhere in the heating system or […] not. I plugged my ears up for a couple of minutes and then the shrill roar ceased. Since nothing appeared to be wrong (in a dangerous way), I decided to stay in that room. The area was pretty quiet, the people around me were not loud or inconsiderate, and I was able to get to my conference in just a few minutes from the hotel. I was a little annoyed by the fact that there were no little bottles of shampoo, conditioner or lotion to be seen, which was a first for me in a hotel stay. Overall, decent, but not very special. :-) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
