I had reservation in Amman holiday inn from 29-05-2011 to 01-06-2011 using Expedia and i had one more night from 01-06-2011 to 02-06-2011 , it was my first time to use Amman holiday inn , it was my marriage , and i spent worst 4 nights in this hotel , First night the A/C was not working , I was in 5th floor and i changed the room to 10th floor , then […] the security box was not working , no teeth brush , no tea or water to prepare in the room , I complained and they changed the room to the 13th floor , Also there was no slippers , No shower rob , No one can go to 5 stars hotel like this , I paid to the internet 14 J.d using the cable dsl in my room but i paid for nothing , it always give me error on sign in , It was like 2 stars hotel , I am in my first days marriage , Should I face those things? The hotel was fine and as a 4 star hotel it met expectations. The location was not so great. To walk anywhere was difficult because of the lack of sidewalks and the somewhat detached location of the hotel.

Staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and enjoy your stay. The hotel itself is a bit tired looking and needs a fair bit of renovating. House keeping is always missing somthing, no towels, no shampoo and soap, not even an ashtray or a bag in the bin. I was shoked when I went on a day trip and came back 1 am, just to find the room as I left it. After complaining to the duty manager I had to wait for 40 minutes to get the room cleand, and I had to wait for on hour to get a cup of coffee […] that never came, till I called again and was asked if I still want the order!!!!!!! I'll keep this brief and to the point. Among the hotel's many failings, I would include at the top of my list: 1. There is a nightclub inside the hotel. Be prepared to hear club beats until 4am. 2. I stayed three nights. My room was 'cleaned' by housekeeping once. By 'clean', I mean they made my bed and emptied the garbage. No new clean towels, no coffee […] or tea, no cleaning the bathroom. 3. At one point in the afternoon I was taking a nap, and awoke to see some random guy walk into my room. Upon seeing me, he said 'sorry' and ran out. I chased after him, and he said the hotel gave him my room by accident... 4. My 7am wakeup call on my last day never came. I awoke at 9am, and had to speed to the airport, almost missing my flight. No apology from hotel staff. 5. Wireless internet. Way too expensive, and doesn't always connect. 6. Food: garbage (includes room service and morning breakfast) Overall, there is NO CHANCE that this is a four star hotel. I have stayed in nicer hostels in Bosnia. Avoid at all costs. All blame for this has to rest firmly on management's shoulders. Read more

Pleasantly surprised by the location considering the location shown prior to the booking was so vague. The hotel was on the (shared) taxi route from the King Hussein/Allenby Crossing when coming from Amman. The hotel was a suite hotel. Unexpectedly we had a kitchen/lounge in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy, although […] we could have done with tea and coffee condisering we had a kettle and fridge. The breakfast was the traditional Middle Eastern fare of juices, fruit, salad and tea/coffee. We did not have any other meals at the hotel. It is about 1km from the Old City and the Damascus Gate. So it was no problem walking there. The information from the front desk was misleading e.g. laiming it was 32km to Bethlehem and the advice was to go by taxi. We chose to go by public transport which was air conditioned and clean at NIS6, and even cheaper by a minibus for NIS4. The journey is barely 10 minutes and it would have been realistic to say it was 7 km maximum. Read more

中心地からは離れていますが、快適でした。5人家族なので、コネクティングルームにしてもらったら、ダブルルームと、ツインルームの間に、もう一部屋リビングルームのような部屋があり、今までで泊まった中で一番快適でした。子供達が寝た後も、明かりを気にせずリビングルームで本を読んだり、テレビをみたりできました。禁煙ルームなのに、たばこ臭かったのが残念。。。でも、連絡をしたらすぐに消臭スプレーをしにきてくれました。ホテルの人の対応も良かったです。

Meget fint, nyere hotel, men placeret langt fra centrum. I et uinspirerende område uden lokal kollorit som shops og restauranter. Fin service, fin mad og fine værelser. Et hotel der sikkert er fint for forretningsmanden der har møder i byen, men for langt fra centrum og seværdigheder for en turist!

De kamer was niet echt schoon. Nog haren in de badkamer en alles stoffig. De kussensloop was erg gekreukt waardoor je de indruk krijgt dat deze niet schoon is. Het eten is echt matig en het personeel zou ook wat vriendelijker mogen zijn. Alle drie de liften waren tegelijk in onderhoud, waardoor je via een vieze servicelift naar beneden ging.

Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes fand eine Hochzeit auf der Aussenterasse statt. Die Musik war so laut, dass es unmöglich war zu schlafen. Die Musik endete um 0:30 Uhr . Etwas spät wenn man um 6:00 aufstehen muss. Ein Wechsel des Zimmers war nicht möglich.
