"Great hotel, near absolutely everything!"
After reading so many reviews, my husband and I were overwhelmed but decided on the Radisson, and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival, (three hours before scheduled check-in), we were advised our room was ready AND we received a free room upgrade. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean and massive, with a refrigerator and microwave (part […] of the upgrade), the linen was crisp, the towels were plentiful, the city view was cool, and from a second window we caught a slight view of the roaring water from the falls, just enough to lure us out of the room (immediately). I am glad we chose to pay a little more than some of the other offers that were available. We were not disappointed that we didn't reserve a fallsview room because we were either at the falls or busy with all the wonderful entertainment that was available. The nightlife is great and when we were in the room we were asleep. A coupon was provided for the adjoining restaurant, however, a continental breakfast would be nice. Radisson had great view of the Falls, but was somewhat obstructed by the Marriott, who very "nicely" put their dumpsters right in front of the view of the Falls. Don't believe Radisson when they tell you that you can see the fireworks from your room. Completely blocked by Marriott. Room was fine, but wish the whirlpool tub had worked. "Toilet paper was totally too far from the toilet"

"Could not have asked for more"
The Radisson was awesome! When we got there, I asked if we could upgrade from king with city view to king with falls view. They had partial falls view/river view and offered a very reasonable price for the upgrade. View was great of horseshoe falls (part of it). Our room was very nice however the air conditioning did not work. they attempted to fix it, then stopped working again. at 11 pm returned to our room and they had to replace our air conditioner. He was very pleasant and worked quickly, but still it was late at night and took half an hour to replace. I think these things should be constantly checked […] BEFORE people check in. I checked in on a Thursday night and had a quick one night stay. I read in other reviews that parking was free, but it was actually $20 CAD. Maybe because I was visiting during a more popular time in the summer. The room itself was nice, spacious, and clean. It even had a microwave! "Better than expected"
The hotel had an amazing view of the falls. We were on the 14 Th. floor. The room was clean and in good repair. They even let us check in early. The whirlpool tub was an unexpected bonus. "Clean and Lovely - Short Walk to Attractions"
This is a very nice hotel with reasonable rates for the location. We had only booked one night ahead of time, but we changed our minds once we arrived and the employee at the desk was able to secure us a second night in the same room without any problems. "Annoyed and Frustrated"
The hotel has a very pleasing atmosphere and is right in the heart of Niagara Falls, however a couple things happened during our stay which made me decide that next time we visit Niagara we will be staying at a different hotel. The first thing is that when I grabbed a coffee mug (that had a sanitizer lid on top) to get my son some water I noticed that […] there was milk at the bottom of the mug. Gross. It really made me question how clean the room really was. The second problem was that we received a call to our room in the morning after our one night stay stating that they had been trying to get a hold of me since last night because my car alarm was going off. I thought this was strange because there were no messages left on the hotel phone, my cell phone, nor did we receive any calls once we were settled in the room around 11pm. They seemed upset with me and the car situation. Also when I asked information about the area, they gave me extremely limited amount of help. We hoped to see the Falls lit up at night and watch the fireworks, however you have to walk a number of blocks north to see the Falls and the trees block the fireworks. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We were pleased to find a large, clean room with plenty of space in the bathroom and although we had a city view, because of the room's location on a corner, we could also see the falls. Our sleep number beds were not working, however once I mentioned it to the front desk, it was taken care of promptly. The […] staff were extremely helpful in suggesting sites to see, wineries, directions to the LCBO, etc., however it is not recommended to try and take your car out of valet around check out time as they seemed to be understaffed and we waited for at least 30 minutes even though we called down ahead of time. An additional negative would be that the incline railway was not working due to renovations. For a great meal and an excellent view of the falls, try the "Tower Hotel's Pinnacle Restaurant (across the street). For a quick coffee, there is a Starbucks almost right across the street. When we first arrived it was too early to check in (11:30am). We decided to go ask if there was any chance of checking in early. So glad we did. They got us right in and even upgraded us to a bigger room with a better view. The view was of the Niagara River and it was amazing! Unfortunately, the little tram to go down the hill to the falls was under […] construction. So, we had to walk quite a ways to get there. It was worth it. We don't live far from Niagara Falls, so we've been many time, but it's beautiful. Hotel is close to things, but not so close to Clifton Hill that you get all that busyness. The thing that I love most about the hotel is that they folded the toiletpaper into a point! I cleaned hotel rooms during highschool and into college. All of the reviews that I had read said that this hotel had an amazing view of the falls, and it turned out to be 30-40% less than the rest of the hotels in direct fallsview. Unfortunately, I missed the part that the room you picked mattered. We chose a deluxe room with two full beds and whirlpool tub. Turns out we paid half the price for half the view, […] by that I mean that half of our view was blocked by other buildings and half of our view was of the horseshoe falls.
