Quality Inn - Murfreesboro

This was just OK. It may be because there was a dog show or something of the sort in town but there were dogs all over the hotel. It also was not very clean and the breakfast was not very good.

The door to our room did not close properly and had to be pulled hard/slammed to close, staff was friendly and location was good, interior undergoing new carpeting, but needs other updates as well.

Requested a non smoking room as far away from smoking as possible. Put me on a non and smoking floor when there was a non smoking floor. Air conditioner would not operated properly. Did not change bedding as requested and floor was filthy.

The entrance to the hotel is a little out of the way, and it is hard to see from the road. However because it is off the road a bit it was a safe place to stay. Staff was great and accommodating. It was dirty. There was dust and dirt on lamp shades. Couldn't see out the windows. Crud on the walls. Carpet was filty. I couldn't walk barefoot. Couldn't wait to get out of there!

The bathroom had dirt in the shower from previous guests. The shower also had grime in the tub. The front desk staff was not very friendly. Very good continental breakfast. We stayed there for one night and it was adequate for what we needed.

As soon as I walked in the hotel to check in there was an awful smell of of bad body odor, I wasn't sure if it was just a person or not but as I went to my room I realized it was the whole hotel. When I got in the room thankfully it did not smell bad but the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms or the whole hotel needed some work. The place was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful & cordial. The breakfast was great. The only thing I would change is have the room cool upon arrival. We had to turn on the A/C when we entered the room --- it was hot. The A/C cooled it down quickly. We'll stay here again. Great value for the money.

We have always been pleased w our hotel choices from hotels.com with the exception of this stay. Our room was filthy. The carpet was stained and was terribly dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty and needed to be cleaned. The bathtub needed cleaning as well. Entire hotel needed repair. I would definitely not recommend this location.

My daughter and I stayed the night while at an agility competition for our dog. This is the first time we stayed at a hotel with our dog and we were not sure what kind of welcome we would receive. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We usually go for something a little newer, but with a soccer tournament in town, options were limited. We had been pleased with another Choice hotel in the past, so I chose this Quality Inn. Although the decor was a little dated, everything was very pleasurable. The front staff was very accomodating […] and smiled (rare nowadays). The room was large with a nice comfortable bed and an armchair. Everything was spotless and we could tell the sheets were fresh. The bathroom was very clean. They are obviously very strict on their No Smoking policy, as we had to sign a form at check in for a very high fee if we were caught smoking. We also had no trace of smoke in our room, which was nice. Sometimes when you sign up for a "no smoking" room, you can smell smoke from someone who had, or a room next to you. We would have been very comfortable in this room had we needed to stay for more than one night. We also woke up early enough to enjoy the continental breakfast - not a lot, but enough for a free meal, for sure! Plus, free wi-fi, which you have to pay for at a more expensive hotel! Area is very convenient to the main drag in Murfreesboro. Close to shopping, food, interstates, etc. Good price for nice accomodations. Would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone! Read more

Location next to the interstate was nice however it almost seemed like it was used more commonly for workers . Several Commericial trucks in the parking lot and breakfast being filled with workers in dirty clothes was a dead give away. It was almost like if there hadn't been soccer, baseball, softball and track and field state tournaments going on no […] one else would have been there. while the location to the interstate was nice being at the end of a dead in street with construction sites where trucks got parked seem alittle scary. Also when we arrived they must have had the air in the lobby and hall turned up to save money they were warm and the room had no air on and it didn't seem like it would ever cool down when we got there so we went and bought a fan to help the cooling out or we could not have stayed in that room.
