Awesome Experience at Hotel Continental Inn
We stayed in Hotel Continental Inn at Foz de igacu, Brazil. It is very clean Hotel and Hotel staff speaks English & Portugese. Staff is very helpful and can speak English. Their free breakfast is super. We stayed last week for 3 nights. We are 2 adults & 2 kids. We stayed in one room with two beds. It is an awesome experience. There is a taxi stand outside hotel. There is a Big Mall 2 blocks left of the Hotel. We stayed there to visit Igazu falls (Brazil & Argentina) and Itapu Dam. Hotel also introduced an English Speaking driver who takes us to Igazu Falls and Itapu Dam. It is very helpful. We Speak English and not Portughese. So when we visited Igazu falls, Argentina side and came back to Brazil, Driver able to handle the immigration officers without our presence. It is big help. My review is 5/5.

Best stay I've had in quite some time on the road
We went to Foz de Iguazu only to see the falls... And ended up falling in love with the town itself. This was largely due to the fact that the Continental Inn treated us to well, and has a has location in the city. When I initially booked this through the Hotels.com site, I just went with something random. Never been to Foz, no idea where to stay, and needed something on the fly. Once reserved, I wrote to the hotel reception asking if they could help us book our waterfalls tour... They referred me to a travel agent who was top-notch and very reasonably priced, and who provided superior service from top-to-bottom to my wife, kid, and me on our tour. Then I asked the hotel if they could provide a crib for my kid - and when we arrived, not only had they provided it in the room, but they'd also taken towels and shaped them into little bunnies, which my daughter went gaga about when she saw them in the crib. These details really made a huge difference - and the hotel itself is well priced, professionally run, staff super friendly and easy going about everything, etc. Honestly, we couuld ask for nada more. It's also located 3 blocks from a really cool shopping mall, and the 'hood itself is very quiet - people even stop driving for you to cross the street at uncontrolled intersections, a total first for us in Brazil. I'd rec this place to anyone going to Foz. You will be glad you stayed there.

Comfortable hotel experience
My wife and our three young adult children stayed here during a visit to the falls. It is close to a large shopping center and an excellent local restaurant, La Mafia. It was raining while we were there and we played billards and used the exercise facilities which were both nice amenities. The pool area is also beautiful. The staff was very accommodating. What I didn't enjoy as much is that the hotel has charges for both internet and to use the in room safe. Overall, I'd return.

average hotel
We had issues during our 2 night stay. The first room we were given had a big leak from the roof in the bathroom. They changed or room immediately. The second room was super noisy due to some electrical box outside our window. We were then moved to another room on the 4th floor which was nice. The rooms on level 1-3 are older style while level 4 are more modern. Breakfast was fine considering it's included in room rate. Lunch was very disappointing. We were the only ones in restaurant but it took 1 hr to get food. They didn't ask how I wanted my steak and it came out well done. Not a good experience. They also lack gluten free options especially at breakfast. It's a cheaper hotel so you do get what you pay for
