The hotel had brande new carpet and was clean overall. The hotel staff was very nice and accomadating. Maria made our stay very enjoyable anything we needed she took care of it without a problem. Would stay again for sure.

Everytime I come home for a visit I stay here at the Microtel the staff is what makes the stay here so great. The room is comfortable enough for the money and they rooms are clean. But you can't find a better staff and they remember us everytime. Great people make the stay worth while.

The staff was excellent. Kristina was warm and welcoming when we arrived late at night. Bed was comfortable. Room was small but if you do not want small do not book at a hotel with "micro" in its name. Internet access was good. Breakfast was as expected but the coffee was very good. I'd stay here again.

The walls are a little thin. Like the fact the room is small as I spend little time in the room. The toaster wasn't working for breakfast, but there was good variety of items and the staff was pleasant.

Noxious fumes in the room --- I'm guessing probably from new rubber drape in bathroom or from chemicals used to clean carpet? I had to leave the window .open all day (including during my stay) to rid the room of the odor

At a bare minimum, you'd think they would keep the upholstery and carpet clean. Lots of constructon workers use this hotel. When they park their rigs, they usually park across multiple slotss leaving few available parking spots.

Reserved room on Expedia and made a comment that we needed a roll-a-way bed. We followed up by calling the hotel to say we needed a roll-a-way bed when we arrived the next day because we had reserved for three adult men and the room only had two beds and each adult wanted a bed. The lady representative from the hotel said to just let them know at the […] front desk that we needed a roll-a-way bed. When we arrived the front desk said that they could not give us a roll-a-way bed and that we had to get another room if we wanted the extra bed. So much for checking ahead! We were extremely disappointed with their service; specifically their lack of communication. We were told that they couldn't give us the extra bed because the rooms are too small. Very sad. This hotel is not kept up. Carpets are old and extremely dirty. Breakfast area is part of the lobby with two tables and rickity chairs that probably came from Kmart. The bathroom floor was sticky. Breakfast was advertised as breakfast not an abbreviated continental breakfast. Overall the quality was very poor and we will not stay there again!

The breakfast bar is really lacking. I am in the hospatality bussiness and I would have fired who ever is in charge of such a lack-luster setting. Much improvement is needed for me to return to this property. Money savings does not make up for the poor condition of the property.

The hotel is not that old yet the room had a very unpleasant odor, the bathroom floor was cracked linoleum, the bedspreads were sticky and the air conditioning had a horrible smell and the room NEVER cooled. We have stayed at this hotel many times during sport events and our last stay unfortunately was disappointing. I believe the hotel is under new management which seems to like to understaff to save money. On a weekend where the hotel was completely booked with major parking issues, horrendous winds and down pours (and resulting leaks everywhere) one […] single lady at the front desk had to deal with everything and everyone. I arrived and the hotel looked okay from the outside. I saw mainly single men around the property. Seemed like a truck stop hotel. Once I arrived the staff was decent and from the look the place seemed clean and okay. Stay away from this hotel. The rooms are tiny, carpet is old and lifting from the floor, cracks and stains on the walls. Bare minimum room! It was the most disgusting hotel I've ever been in. The receptionist offered a different room, but we had seen enough. We didn't stay through our reservation, we ended up going next door to the Comfort Inn.

Our room was super small and the TV was about a 13-inch TV that got horrible reception. The desk help were not working very hard and were usually on their cell phones texting when I walked up to the desk for help. I had to ask several times for more food on the breakfast layout. I will never stay at another Microtel.

I was disappointed in the service, security & cheapness of hotel. I stayed 2 nights & got no clean towels & although I took sign off door. My room was not touched in two days. Same linens, towel (had to go to front desk to get more. The minimal supplies was gross. There was one bar of soap & a 3/4 bottle of shampoo in bathroom. The soap look like it […] had been sitting there for weeks with a bug under wrapper. The faucet in kitchen area splashed water onto counter. The TV was very difficult to see from bed or anywhere in the room. The room was 82 degrees when I walked in & took a half hour to cool off. The worse thing was everytime I went in or out 1st floor side door to go outside or enter with card key I noticed the door was always ajar by the floor mat outside. Obviously, people were doing that to go in & out. Terrible security. Also, funny thing was the cleaning lady seemed to be on the floor most of the day & I had to go down stairs to get fresh towels. I had to double check to make sure the place I am reviewing was the same one I read about when I booked. I'm not sure how anyone could rate this place more than a 2. It was filthy and in disrepair. My non-smoking room smelled like smoke and had cigarette burns on the carpet. The couch was heavily stained. The outside is deceiving. The inside past the lobby is where my problem was. The carpets were dirty and stained. I stayed on the 3rd floor and those carpets were dirty and stained. New carpets aren't needed, but at least clean the them to make it seem like they're new. Walls were dirty and cracked.
