Great location, clean rooms and excellent service from all staff members. Romms are small ( it's paris...) but well appointed and functional. The street is a bit active, but the windows do a good job shutting out the noise. Breakfast is absolutely lovely, with real place settings and fresh coffee, tea, or hot chocolate brought out for you... And a huge […] great selection of breads, pastries and fruit, along with cereal, yogurt and apple sauces- couldn't ask for much more. The hotel was very close to Gare Montparnesse and the Metro station, which made it convenient for visiting Paris for catching a train. The front desk staff was very helpful and held our luggage when we arrived before check in and after we checked out. We were also able to get our room several hours early, which was very helpful. There are a lot of restaurants […] near the hotel as well. I had a room on a higher floor, facing away from the street and it was very quiet. For Paris, the room was great. It was much smaller than an American hotel room but had everything I needed. Remember all hotel rooms in Paris are small. It had a tv and a fridge. The bathroom was nice as well. There was also free wifi, you just need to ask the front desk for the code. I would stay here on my next trip to Paris, especially if I needed to take a train at the Gare to Southwest France. I feel the reviews were overly generous. Our room was typically Paris small. The bath/shower combo was almost impossible to use without slipping and injuring yourself. This was very disappointing after a long flight to have a hassle with the shower. Expected better room overall.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Very convenient 8 to10 minute walk (I timed it.) to the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and the Paris-Orly airport Les Cars bus stop at Gare Montparnasse. The hotel has an excellent location, close to metro and restaurants. Laudromat next door to hotel. Typical French breakfast, good, coffee not good. Room was very small with little room for putting away clothes. Staff very accommodating and courteous. Loved the French market on Wednesdays. Very good value. Would recommend to friends.

I had a room on the back side of the hotel, and it was so amazingly quiet, I can't even begin to describe the bliss (I live in Manhattan, so expected some city noise in Paris as well, especially in the Montparnasse quarter)... The Montparnesse Tower and Gare du Montparnesse about 10 mins walk and the Catacombes either a 15 minute walk or 2 station metro ride. Be prepared for a very small room in Paris. The Hotel staff were very friendly and happy to help even though English translation was a bit hard at times, not for the staff but for me as the tourist. The location worked for us as we were here to see Paris not to shop. The Metro was close by and not too hard to work out.

Good location for exploring Paris on foot but also very close to the metro station. The service was very friendly. Hotel needs some refurbishment, in particular the tiles in my bedroom needed a good scrub. Also, the breakfast is not worth the price, better off finding a local cafe.

We picked Hotel Appolinaire for the location which we definitely couldn't fault. There are several metro stations within just a few minutes walk so getting to the sights was very easy. There was also plenty of restaurants nearby with varying menus and prices giving something for everyone. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly making us feel […] welcome. Our room, while a little small, was cleaned and tidied every day and looked nice and modern. We spent most of our time out sight seeing so the room size wasn't really an issue. My only tiny complaint (and perhaps not an issue for some) was the room was too hot for us and it wasn't practical to open a window because of the noise from the streets outside. The only thing I can't comment on was the breakfast, we felt 9euros per person was a bit too expensive when we could nip out to the bakeries and get croissants, pastries and orange/coffee for more like 4euros each!! All in all a great place to stay for a weekend sightseeing and I would recommend it if you want a clean, modern place to shower and sleep for a great price :-) Read more

We stayed at Hotel Apollinare for 4 nights in January. The location of the hotel is great, close to two different metro stations and a whole lot of restaurants, shops and supermarkets within a five minute walk either way. The personell was helpful, and we used the airport shuttle when we left. The room we had was located at the 2nd floor, and when we […] got there the room wasn't exeptionally clean. First thing I found was a long hair in the sink, and the little fridge did have a weird smell so we didnt use it. The elevator was tiny and old, so we only used it to get our luggage to and from the room, and it took the same amount of time walking up as the elevator used. The room we had was towards the street and therefore with the window open (which was needed when the room got too hot) it did have alot of street noise. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, alot of reasonable bakeries close to the hotel. We also slept in, and the maid walked in on us while in bed after we yelled out "No, thank you!". Next day we hung up the "Do not disturb", and thankfully she didnt walk in on us then. The hotel was okay, the location was the best part of it. Read more

A localização do hotel é excelente...próximo a grande estação de metrô de Montparnasse com várias linhas que darão acesso aos principais pontos da cidade e com grande quantidade de bares e cafeterias nos arredores que deixam o local movimentado até tarde, além de um mercado na mesma rua. O nosso quarto era muito pequeno...banheiro esquisito....chuveiro […] dentro da banheira e nenhuma proteção que espirrava água pra tudo quanto é lado e molhava tudo. A limpeza deixa a desejar...quando chegamos, era possível ver a colcha com algumas manchas de sujeira e alguns fios de cabelo de alguém que passou por lá (só a colcha...a cama estava limpinha). Que nojo!! Fora isso, os funcionários foram atenciosos...principalmente o que ficava na recepção durante a noite. Pretendo voltar a Paris para visitá-la com mais calma e, com certeza, ficarei hospedada na mesma região, porém optarei por outro hotel. Read more

Nevermind that the room was small or the receptionist had a friendly smile, haven't seen many (bath)rooms in such a poor state...Not particularly clean either, not surprising, stains and hairs. On a 2 night stay, don't thing room was cleaned, only bed made, towels changed, bins emptied. Oh, and hairs left of course, room assistant had dark hair... Errr […] well, the telly was good, lol, and the mattress looked new. Breakfast: last time I saw tinned fruit wit bright red cherries, was at my nan's, some Christmas 20 years ago. The bread was as fresh as the one I found in the breadbin at home on return :) shame photo's can't be added :) Read more

Vi tog en långhelg i Paris och bestämde oss för Hotel Apollinaire. Hotellet uppfyllde alla förväntningar. Rummen är små och enkla, men fräscha och har det man behöver. Läget är fantastiskt, mitt i Montparnasse med massor av barer och restauranger i närheten. Hotellet ligger precis vid en tunnelbanestation varifrån man enkelt kan ta sig till alla sevärdheter […] i Paris. Området som hotellet ligger i känns inte på något sätt osäkert oavsett vilken tid på dygnet det är. Jag återvänder gärna till Hotel Apollinaire, och det rekommenderas varmt. Read more
