Friendly, competent staff, beautiful public spaces, great location if you're attending a conference at the Washington Convention Center. Room was a bit dated, had no safe or fridge, merely adequate bathroom.

Slightly difficult to find at first, but nicely updated and clean. Was very surprised that the kitchen was clean - you can just never be sure about public kitchens, but all of the appliances and surfaces throughout the room were clean. Hotel location is decent (obviously depends on what you are visiting for), but be mindful that it is on an airplane path (for Reagan) - its completely silent at night, but in full action starting at 6-7am.

It was comfortable and the hotel was nice. The Hotel was at a nice spot.
Location.
This Sterling, VA hotel is 6 miles north of Dulles International Airport and 22 miles from Washington, DC. Other nearby attractions include the Dulles Town Center shopping mall (1.5 miles), Algonkian Regional Park Golf Course (4 miles), and Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts (11 miles).
Hotel Features.
Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. Hyatt Place Dulles Airport North is entirely smoke-free. Guests can start the day with a complimentary Continental breakfast. In addition, a 24-hour Guest Kitchen sells made-to-order snacks and entrees, and the Bakery Café serves Starbucks specialty coffees, premium beers, and wines. Self-service kiosks in the lobby provide easy check-in/check-out. A business area provides complimentary use of computers and a printer. An outdoor pool is open seasonally, and a fitness center is available 24 hours a day. The hotel offers free parking and complimentary area shuttle service within a 5-mile radius.
Guestrooms.
The 134 guestrooms feature the signature Hyatt Grand Bed with pillowtop mattress, down blankets, pillows, and triple sheeting. 42-inch flat-panel HDTVs can be viewed from the bed or from a sofa bed in the living area, which is separated from the sleeping area by a partial wall. Hyatt Plug Panels connect guests' laptops, MP3 players, video-game systems, DVD players, and other media devices to the TVs. Wet bars come with compact refrigerators and coffee/tea makers. Two phones (one cordless) include voice mail. Bathrooms have granite countertops.

"You won't be disappointed."
I would recommend staying at this hotel. The room was great. It felt like a home away from home.
"Close to family and shops"
The hotel room was suitable and clean. I thought it added a unique touch with sectional seating and a partial divider. The room service left a little to be desired and the complimentary breakfast was overcrowded with minimal seating. Overall, our stay was peaceful and we would stay on the premises again.

"Very SatisfieD and accomodating!"
I was travelling with the whole family, including a senior citizen and a 1 month old baby. Even though check in was not until 3pm, the Hotel Manager allowed me to check in as early as 9 am. The Continental Breakfast is great, and the rooms are excellent. The Service is above and beyond!
"No Drawers"
There were no drawers in this room to store my stuff. I almost didn't find the bible (not that I read it or anything). But there was only one small drawer in the closet area which was not easily accessible. And they didn't have any toothpaste. Not expected from a Hyatt.

"Wkend Getaway"
Choose a local place to get away for the wkend. Great location w/ plenty of shopping/food close by, King room was very nice-had separate living/bedrm room area. Hot/cold breakfast was included and very good. Staff very friendly/helpful. Plan to stay there again in the future.

For the price what I paid, this is the best hotel. Thanks Hotels.com. We are very much pleased with the room and as well the breakfast. Breakfast was served with expensive utensils and a quality items to eat. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay in this hotel, ofcourse if it within the price range.

Nice, new accommodations. Enjoyed my stay. Breakfast leaves a little to be desired, cheap plastic utensils and limited selection. Would expect more if paying the the full weekday rate.
This is a nice hotel that i picked up at the last minute due to wanting to extend my stay in DC. the grounds and the staff are very good.

Very clean hotel, comfortable bed in a big room with a huge couch and a kitchenette. Friendly staff. Complimentry breakfast in the morning was great too. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!! Awesome hotel!! And for a very reasonable price.
"Should have been closed for refurbishing."
My wife and I came in on a red-eye from LA and were beat. We tried to nap but jack-hammering began and went virtually non-stop for hours. The front desk said there was nothing they could do about it, which is what they did - nothing. They did say the jackhammering was only from 10 to 5. Too bad this was at two in the afternoon.

I stayed at the hyatt for a long weekend to visit the DC area. The hotel far exceeded my expectations. The rooms are extremely comfortable and very spacious. My 8 year old son said he wanted to live there at the Hyatt. I will definatly stay again and highly recommend it to others.

The hotel was very nice and went over and beyond to serve you. But it lost it's personality with the food service and wake up service . Not much to eat near by. Best to have a rental car if you desire to get around . Other than that , good place to stay.

"Clean and secure hotel"
Our family selected the Hyatt Place Dulles Airport North as an alternative to pricey Washington, D.C. area hotels that charged 4x more. We rented a van from Dulles Airport and took day trips to Washington, D.C. Enjoyed quick free breakfasts and very good coffee at the hotel. The commute to Washington was about 45 minutes to an hour. Parking was not […] difficult, about $18-$20/day at lots, and street parking at meters ($3/hour) was available. The hotel is very clean and safe. No complaints about the beds, linen, or odors. We recently spent 5 days at this hotel and were very pleased. Our room was very nice and clean and comfortable. We were in town for a family function and due to confusion (on our part) family members were scattered between 3 different Hyatts near Dulles. Love the extra large living room/tv watching area. The night staff is helpful, in particular (let me xerox a couple of pages). The waitresses in the restaurant are very friendly and, if you like sports bars, there are plenty of tvs to watch. Cozy spot!

Well, they're not exactly a suite but each bedroom comes with a very comfortable living room-type area. The staff is helpful, especially the night clerk! They have their own restaurant and bar attached, so you can socialize when you want. Or not.

Although this hotel is a little far from the airport, about 15 minutes, the driver, and staff are incredibly nce and helpful and made the stay so comfortable. Try the Sweetwater Grill restaurant across the parking lot. Fantastic food!!

"Hyatt NOVA"
We had a wonderful stay! It was quiet, comfortable and clean. We had some problems with the TV remote, but the staff took care of it immediately.
