Overall we had a great stay, a little disappointing that the pool and hotel where across the street and there was no place to change. It was a little strange to have the restaurant look over the pool. The cleanliness was alright you could tell the room had not been dusted in awhile. IGenuine Expedia guest review
"horrible customer service"
This place is a joke everything is located at the surrounding hotels including the lobby bathroom i had to go across the street and the pool is in the hotel behind which was Rly embarrassing not to mention cold to go there in a robe. No service people to assist with bags or parking(which is also in another hotel) we hauled our bags up to flights of […] stairs because we didn't get our key until 430 even though check in is at 4. We finally got to our hotel room freezing and the source of heat (an ac in the window) only blew cold air. We were forced to buy a fire log from the lobby which was to small to throw off any heat. The room was dust covered..the bathroom had no fan so when we used the shower the walls dripped with brown condensation. On our way out all the staff had to say was did u use anything from the mini bar we said no and she said Ur good to go...no thank you for Ur visit or questions about how our stay was...needless to say this hotel is a joke and we will never be back! "Lost in Whistler Village"
First time here stayed overnight, we booked online with the address & google the address... thought it would be a no brainer to find. Not so, it took us more than half an hour going thru 3 different hotels with the help of my iPhone's GPS to locate the hotel!? My comment: please get a more UNIQUE name other than Executive xxx or xxxx Inn or xxxxx at […] the Village... it would be a big help! Other than the name thing, everything is cool! "Great Location for everything"
the hotel is very conveniently located in the whistler village. Great restaurants within walking distance and close to the Lost lake trail for a nice walk. Hotel also provides a small kitchen for cooking, tho we never needed it but it was good to have. Very comfortable stay overall.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Cozy - Hot suite!"
Central and close to everything. Design and decor were impressive and current to also include a kitchen and wood burning fireplace!Genuine Expedia guest review
My boyfriend and I recently spent a night here for a mini getaway in a queen loft room. We had a great time! The location to the village is perfect! The only downside was the lack of a pool and hottub in the resort, they told us we could go across the street to their other hotel but the pool was still out of service and walking around the village in […] our house coats was not very appealing during this time of year. Overall though we had a great time! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice room, great location"
The location is fantastic- close to everywhere you want to be and everything you want to see in the Village. Room was beyond expectations, which was a nice surprise. Very spacious, nice kitchenette, great wood-burning fireplace that was very romantic. "Bad customer service at front desk. Very rude"
I book the room from Expedia, and filtered by allowed dogs. When I checked in, the front desk told me the room was not for pet, and telling me that was the policy and not their fault. However, when I placed the room reservation, there wasn't any notification telling that the room is not for pet, and the website filtered the room for me. That was a really […] bad experience for staying in that hotel. The reception attitude was very bad and not helpful at all. Not gonna visit again and I'm gonna let all my friends know what happened to me at this hotel!!! I'm really sad. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"One day trip to Whistler"
There was a bit of confusion as to how to access the hotel from street. Main entrance of hotel is from Village Stroll, back entrance is from a round about by Pan Pacific Hotel. Evening staff were likely Australian students, young and restless but need to add a bit more pleasant atitude. Overall it was OK, although they should have told us how to get […] to our rooms as hotel has a rather interesting room layout over 3 floors. We were told it was one of the first hotels to be built in Whistler. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice lofted room in a convenient location!"
A bit odd layout to the hotel - stairs separating the same floor. But the room was a nice loft and clean with a comfortable bed. Right in the heart of Whistler Village. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel to stay at. A1 service and location."
Reception was extremely friendly and helpful. Location in the centre of the village couldn't be bettered. The corridors were a bit of a maze and parking although convenient and safe is $20 extra !!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Bathroom is a tight squeeze. No iron / ironing board in the room. Other facilities were fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful, big and clean, the location was fabulous and the price was perfectly fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome value for the money and great location"
This was our second time staying at The Executive and we will definitely be returning. You can't beat the value for your money and location right in the village. Hotel is in excellent shape, rooms are small but livable, plus a convenient underground storage room for equipment. The only thing I didn't like was the expensive parking, but that's Whistler […] for you, it comes with the territory. If you're the type of person who prefers a Fairmont level of refinement then this hotel is not for you, but if you're like me and appreciate good value, then this is your place. "Extra night in Whistler, very pleased!"
The room was well appointed, in the heart of the Village and very quaint. The hotel we were staying at wasn't available for another night which is why we ended up here, which turned out to be a bonus as the room was cheaper and much more centrally located than the Delta. We would be happy to return!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Whistler 3rd floor room."
Everything acceptable and attractive except: took 5 min to get hot water in shower both mornings (warm water in 3 min), difficult series of up and down stairways when taking elevator to 3rd floor, air-conditioner too noisy to have on at night; loft area was too hot to sleep in (not a problem during the winter I would assume).Genuine Expedia guest review
We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples, and I was the first to check in. When asked the front desk if there were any differences between the2 rooms the staff explained one was facing the village side and the other back side of the hotel and quieter. I asked for the back side, but the room given was the opposite. Then I noticed on the floor plan on the door, […] the room I was given was considerably smaller than the other room or any other rooms on that floor. The 2nd room we booked was for our friends anyway so I wasn’t going to switch in between us, but did bother me that the hotel assigned this small room for us when booked 2 months in advance, and quite obvious we would notice the difference as we could see inside of the other room…. The room cleanliness was OK, but not perfect. The air conditioning unit was very, very loud. The bed was too soft, but the pillows were comfortable. Saw reviews (complaints) about the pool located at the other Executive hotel, but it was fine, wasn’t much inconvenience at all. Overall it was OK. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Right in the Village"
I went there with parents. They were visiting from over seas. We were exceptionally well taken care of from the moment of check in to when we checked out. The room was a very nice surprise; a loft room with an outdoor balcony overlooking the village stroll. Just gorgeous. I will stay here every time I visit WhistlerGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location but misrepresented."
I was travelling with my grand-daughter (10) plus my niece and her 8-year old daughter from the States. We had specifically looked for a hotel that was located right in the village and had a pool. Hotel amenities included a pool and there were even pictures. But when we checked in we were told the pool was located at a sister hotel and towels would […] be available at their front desk. The other hotel was not far, but with no change rooms available, we would have to either change in a washroom or walk through the village in a wet bathing suit on the way back. We did take the kids for 2 swims, but as adults, decided to sit it out poolside. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Steps from Everything"
The location was fantastic and room had a great layout. Only 2 negative comments - check in is a gong show in a tiny space and it took quite some time. Secondly - picture made it look like pool was right there - in fact we had to exit hotel and walk 1/2 block. Pool was great just not as convenient as it looked in photosGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right in the Village"
Summer or winter, Executive - The Inn at Whistler Village is only a short walk to the main to lifts and seconds away from all the restaurants, pubs, and shops. We stayed in the loft style room and really enjoy the layout and size of the place. I've stayed in many places in Whistler and I would book here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay at your peril"
Finding this "hotel" was a considerable undertaking. Once we checked in , the room was nice and neat but the bathroom must have been designed by a boat builder. In order to enter the bathroom, you opened the door until it hit the toilet, then you squeezed yourself past the door and vanity to close the door. My wife opened the blinds and was showered […] by a layer of dust. Nice. At night we listened to, what I thought, was Michael Flattly's lord of the dance from the room above us. I woke up every hour that I slept there which wasn't very much. Never again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not as nice as the pictures."
The hotel was easy to find, considering the number of pedestrian-only accessible streets in Whistler. Check-in was terribly slow. The receptionist was lacking any sort of enthusiasm or interest in guests, and made his way quite slowly to get the job done. We were disappointed to discover that the hotel pool and hot tub were located down the street at […] a "sister" hotel - so we would have to walk around in our bathing suits (or bath robes) to get to and from the pool. Oh, and there was no ID or room key required to enter the pool, so anyone could go in on their own.... The room was nice and warm, but it was quite small and squishy. The kitchen was clean and decently comfortable, but would have been really tight if anyone was sitting at the table. The bathroom door could not be opened or closed without nearly hitting the toilet. It was nice to have the balcony overlooking the village. We didn't find it too noisy, but we also weren't there during the party nights. We were pretty upset to pay $21/night for parking, rather than the $20/night advertised price. It's the principle of the matter, not the amount. The iPod dock wouldn't work with either of our iPods (3gs and 5)....that was sad. Wireless was not free. The key-cards wouldn't always work on the doors, so you'd have to scan the card numerous times to gain entry. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel room was perfect. Right in the heart of where all the shops and restaurants are. We are for sure coming back again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was nice. The room is two levels, basically a loft. Having the bathroom a flight of stairs away was a bit annoying, but all in all a good hotel. I would stay their again as it is central and priced right.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A home away from home"
We arrived on Friday evening. The check in process was a breeze. The two lovely ladies at the front were so helpful in providing us with information on some of the night life in the village. The hotel itself is very well secured. You need to swipe your room key in order to go up the elevator. My first impression of the room was " wow this is very cozy." […] The kitchen was a very nice, the living room superb. Our bedroom upstairs, and the shower, you could have two people in there ;). Housekeeping is fast to respond. my overal rating I would give this hotel a 5 star rating. It is definately one of the best hotels that I have been to. And trust me, I book a lot of hotels. "I liked it :)"
I was a little nervous after I booked a room for one night here from other reviews, but it turned out to be just fine! It was older but didn't seem too dated. The suite was clean & cozy. It was a loft suite & the stairs were a little steep to climb down groggy at 3am in the morning to use the bathroom. The bed was in a cove to making it a little hard […] for the other person to get out of bed without climbing over you. We stayed in the Village-side Executive which i didn't realize didn't have the pool. You can use A pool, BUT it's at it's sister hotel The Mountainside down the lane. Over all the bed was super comfy like being on a cloud, clean, cozy, bright, different, and overall nice! No REAL problems during our stay. :) (Oh and yes parking is limited so get here earlier if possible) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Whistler Executive Inn"
The loft-like setting and hotel style was very pleasing and relaxing. Great location - right on the main Whistler Village walk. There were some minor repairs (i.e. re-finishing a bathroom door or re-sealing a border) and upgrades that would enhance the quality of the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Strict check in policy"
The location of the hotel and general upkeep is very good. The queen loft room is however very small and dark. Bedding is good, with the bed a little on the soft side. My main complaint, however is that they are very strict with their policy of not letting you check in until 4:00 p.m.. This is the second time we have experienced this at this hotel […] and I feel this is unusual in the hotel industry, we rarely are required to wait this late for check in. In addition, check out is early, at 11 a.m. So I don't feel you are getting true value. I do not feel that we will return. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"There Are Better Hotels for the Price"
This was an impromptu night away for my hubby and myself Apr 30-May 1 2013. We weren't looking for anything fancy & wanted to pay as little as possible. There were several hotels in our price range to choose from & we picked the Executive for it's location in the Village. The location was great, but the hotel itself was grimy and run down. A few disappointments […] were: Double bed (was supposed to be a Queen), wall heater extremely noisy (sounded like an airplane landing in your room), no ice available (maybe that's why we couldn't find an ice bucket!), the shower was grimy and could use some serious re-caulking, the walls had some sort of sticky stuff oozing down them in the kitchen (I'm going with ketchup as the least offensive thing my imagination can come up with!). Things I didn't realize when I booked (but should've read more closely): Underground parking is NOT secure & costs an extra $20/night & wi-fi also has fee of $6/day. It was off season so not too busy -- there are definitely other newer/cleaner hotels in the village for around the same price that offer wi-fi and/or secure parking. I wouldn't stay here again. "Unsatisfied with Service"
Would not stay here again, very unfriendly service from guy at front desk, very slow check-in. Pool and hot tub are located at the OTHER Executive Inn location. Room has a wood fireplace....with no wood provided. There are many other hotels within the same location, this hotel was not nice enough to make up for the experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and courteous staff. Good experienc"
We only spent one night in the hotel for a quick romantic getaway. You can't beat the location - right in the centre of the village. Staff was courteous, knowledgable and accommodating. We even received a courtesy call to ensure the suite was satisfactory and to inquire if we had any other needs. The hotel agreed to our request for a later checkout […] time of noon. The negatives would include the overpriced cost of wifi at $5.00 per hour. It is 2013 - wifi should be complimentary or at least very minimally priced, such as $5.00/day. The room was clean, well furnished and orderly. Only negatives were that the bathroom fan and hair dryer didn't work - but those were minor concerns. All in all, I would recommend this hotel. Our stary was memorable after we got our room sorted out. When we booked in they said they had upgraded our - no explanation - this turned out to be a room with a loft bedroom.
