"Great hotel to stay at. A1 service and location."
Reception was extremely friendly and helpful. Location in the centre of the village couldn't be bettered. The corridors were a bit of a maze and parking although convenient and safe is $20 extra !!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Bathroom is a tight squeeze. No iron / ironing board in the room. Other facilities were fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful, big and clean, the location was fabulous and the price was perfectly fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome value for the money and great location"
This was our second time staying at The Executive and we will definitely be returning. You can't beat the value for your money and location right in the village. Hotel is in excellent shape, rooms are small but livable, plus a convenient underground storage room for equipment. The only thing I didn't like was the expensive parking, but that's Whistler […] for you, it comes with the territory. If you're the type of person who prefers a Fairmont level of refinement then this hotel is not for you, but if you're like me and appreciate good value, then this is your place. "Cozy room in the Whistler Village"
Would have been a perfect stay if we had hot water to shower with in the morning!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Extra night in Whistler, very pleased!"
The room was well appointed, in the heart of the Village and very quaint. The hotel we were staying at wasn't available for another night which is why we ended up here, which turned out to be a bonus as the room was cheaper and much more centrally located than the Delta. We would be happy to return!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Whistler 3rd floor room."
Everything acceptable and attractive except: took 5 min to get hot water in shower both mornings (warm water in 3 min), difficult series of up and down stairways when taking elevator to 3rd floor, air-conditioner too noisy to have on at night; loft area was too hot to sleep in (not a problem during the winter I would assume).Genuine Expedia guest review
We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples, and I was the first to check in. When asked the front desk if there were any differences between the2 rooms the staff explained one was facing the village side and the other back side of the hotel and quieter. I asked for the back side, but the room given was the opposite. Then I noticed on the floor plan on the door, […] the room I was given was considerably smaller than the other room or any other rooms on that floor. The 2nd room we booked was for our friends anyway so I wasn’t going to switch in between us, but did bother me that the hotel assigned this small room for us when booked 2 months in advance, and quite obvious we would notice the difference as we could see inside of the other room…. The room cleanliness was OK, but not perfect. The air conditioning unit was very, very loud. The bed was too soft, but the pillows were comfortable. Saw reviews (complaints) about the pool located at the other Executive hotel, but it was fine, wasn’t much inconvenience at all. Overall it was OK. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Garbage wasnt taken out of our room. No wifi. No iron. Didnt feel clean. Was told there was pool & hottub which turned out to be around the corner and down the street at a DIFFERENT hotel? Overall very disapointed and could have spent same amount of money on something way better. Will not be returning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right in the Village"
I went there with parents. They were visiting from over seas. We were exceptionally well taken care of from the moment of check in to when we checked out. The room was a very nice surprise; a loft room with an outdoor balcony overlooking the village stroll. Just gorgeous. I will stay here every time I visit WhistlerGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location but misrepresented."
I was travelling with my grand-daughter (10) plus my niece and her 8-year old daughter from the States. We had specifically looked for a hotel that was located right in the village and had a pool. Hotel amenities included a pool and there were even pictures. But when we checked in we were told the pool was located at a sister hotel and towels would […] be available at their front desk. The other hotel was not far, but with no change rooms available, we would have to either change in a washroom or walk through the village in a wet bathing suit on the way back. We did take the kids for 2 swims, but as adults, decided to sit it out poolside. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the interior of the suite was charming but the patio needs some work. Overall a great place to stay at a good price!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Steps from Everything"
The location was fantastic and room had a great layout. Only 2 negative comments - check in is a gong show in a tiny space and it took quite some time. Secondly - picture made it look like pool was right there - in fact we had to exit hotel and walk 1/2 block. Pool was great just not as convenient as it looked in photosGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right in the Village"
Summer or winter, Executive - The Inn at Whistler Village is only a short walk to the main to lifts and seconds away from all the restaurants, pubs, and shops. We stayed in the loft style room and really enjoy the layout and size of the place. I've stayed in many places in Whistler and I would book here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay at your peril"
Finding this "hotel" was a considerable undertaking. Once we checked in , the room was nice and neat but the bathroom must have been designed by a boat builder. In order to enter the bathroom, you opened the door until it hit the toilet, then you squeezed yourself past the door and vanity to close the door. My wife opened the blinds and was showered […] by a layer of dust. Nice. At night we listened to, what I thought, was Michael Flattly's lord of the dance from the room above us. I woke up every hour that I slept there which wasn't very much. Never again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Not as nice as the pictures."
The hotel was easy to find, considering the number of pedestrian-only accessible streets in Whistler. Check-in was terribly slow. The receptionist was lacking any sort of enthusiasm or interest in guests, and made his way quite slowly to get the job done. We were disappointed to discover that the hotel pool and hot tub were located down the street at […] a "sister" hotel - so we would have to walk around in our bathing suits (or bath robes) to get to and from the pool. Oh, and there was no ID or room key required to enter the pool, so anyone could go in on their own.... The room was nice and warm, but it was quite small and squishy. The kitchen was clean and decently comfortable, but would have been really tight if anyone was sitting at the table. The bathroom door could not be opened or closed without nearly hitting the toilet. It was nice to have the balcony overlooking the village. We didn't find it too noisy, but we also weren't there during the party nights. We were pretty upset to pay $21/night for parking, rather than the $20/night advertised price. It's the principle of the matter, not the amount. The iPod dock wouldn't work with either of our iPods (3gs and 5)....that was sad. Wireless was not free. The key-cards wouldn't always work on the doors, so you'd have to scan the card numerous times to gain entry. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel room was perfect. Right in the heart of where all the shops and restaurants are. We are for sure coming back again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was nice. The room is two levels, basically a loft. Having the bathroom a flight of stairs away was a bit annoying, but all in all a good hotel. I would stay their again as it is central and priced right.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A home away from home"
We arrived on Friday evening. The check in process was a breeze. The two lovely ladies at the front were so helpful in providing us with information on some of the night life in the village. The hotel itself is very well secured. You need to swipe your room key in order to go up the elevator. My first impression of the room was " wow this is very cozy." […] The kitchen was a very nice, the living room superb. Our bedroom upstairs, and the shower, you could have two people in there ;). Housekeeping is fast to respond. my overal rating I would give this hotel a 5 star rating. It is definately one of the best hotels that I have been to. And trust me, I book a lot of hotels. "I liked it :)"
I was a little nervous after I booked a room for one night here from other reviews, but it turned out to be just fine! It was older but didn't seem too dated. The suite was clean & cozy. It was a loft suite & the stairs were a little steep to climb down groggy at 3am in the morning to use the bathroom. The bed was in a cove to making it a little hard […] for the other person to get out of bed without climbing over you. We stayed in the Village-side Executive which i didn't realize didn't have the pool. You can use A pool, BUT it's at it's sister hotel The Mountainside down the lane. Over all the bed was super comfy like being on a cloud, clean, cozy, bright, different, and overall nice! No REAL problems during our stay. :) (Oh and yes parking is limited so get here earlier if possible) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Whistler Executive Inn"
The loft-like setting and hotel style was very pleasing and relaxing. Great location - right on the main Whistler Village walk. There were some minor repairs (i.e. re-finishing a bathroom door or re-sealing a border) and upgrades that would enhance the quality of the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

Hotel was good, but would have preferred inside suite facing the village main street versus the back. Very small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Strict check in policy"
The location of the hotel and general upkeep is very good. The queen loft room is however very small and dark. Bedding is good, with the bed a little on the soft side. My main complaint, however is that they are very strict with their policy of not letting you check in until 4:00 p.m.. This is the second time we have experienced this at this hotel […] and I feel this is unusual in the hotel industry, we rarely are required to wait this late for check in. In addition, check out is early, at 11 a.m. So I don't feel you are getting true value. I do not feel that we will return. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"There Are Better Hotels for the Price"
This was an impromptu night away for my hubby and myself Apr 30-May 1 2013. We weren't looking for anything fancy & wanted to pay as little as possible. There were several hotels in our price range to choose from & we picked the Executive for it's location in the Village. The location was great, but the hotel itself was grimy and run down. A few disappointments […] were: Double bed (was supposed to be a Queen), wall heater extremely noisy (sounded like an airplane landing in your room), no ice available (maybe that's why we couldn't find an ice bucket!), the shower was grimy and could use some serious re-caulking, the walls had some sort of sticky stuff oozing down them in the kitchen (I'm going with ketchup as the least offensive thing my imagination can come up with!). Things I didn't realize when I booked (but should've read more closely): Underground parking is NOT secure & costs an extra $20/night & wi-fi also has fee of $6/day. It was off season so not too busy -- there are definitely other newer/cleaner hotels in the village for around the same price that offer wi-fi and/or secure parking. I wouldn't stay here again. "Unsatisfied with Service"
Would not stay here again, very unfriendly service from guy at front desk, very slow check-in. Pool and hot tub are located at the OTHER Executive Inn location. Room has a wood fireplace....with no wood provided. There are many other hotels within the same location, this hotel was not nice enough to make up for the experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and courteous staff. Good experienc"
We only spent one night in the hotel for a quick romantic getaway. You can't beat the location - right in the centre of the village. Staff was courteous, knowledgable and accommodating. We even received a courtesy call to ensure the suite was satisfactory and to inquire if we had any other needs. The hotel agreed to our request for a later checkout […] time of noon. The negatives would include the overpriced cost of wifi at $5.00 per hour. It is 2013 - wifi should be complimentary or at least very minimally priced, such as $5.00/day. The room was clean, well furnished and orderly. Only negatives were that the bathroom fan and hair dryer didn't work - but those were minor concerns. All in all, I would recommend this hotel. "Close to everything"
Our stary was memorable after we got our room sorted out. When we booked in they said they had upgraded our - no explanation - this turned out to be a room with a loft bedroom. This was not suitable for us Seniors. Changed our room to the other Executive - much better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a very nice stay at the Executive-The Inn at Whistler Village. The room provided all the amenities we needed including a small kitchen area which we could have used if we were staying longer. Comfortable and quiet, right in the middle of the village.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfortable, Clean and Well Located"
My boyfriend and I stayed at Executive for one night in December 2012. This was our second stay and hopefully not our last! The room we stayed in had a mezzanine bedroom making it grander than a usual hotel room. It was clean, well maintained and had all of the required amenities.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"We will not stay there again."
Where do I start, upon our arrival the lobby was not anything similar to the pictures that they have on the web site. The hotel is old and smelled. Our room was on the third floor so we got on the elevator to the third floor just to get out and discover that we had to drag our luggage down two flights of stairs, then up another 3 steps. We arrived at […] our room to find that there was no bathtub. Then to enter the bathroom we had to squeeze between the door and the counter. The door stop was the toilet behind the door. The room was extremely small and had to go up a flight of stairs to the bed in the loft. This we did not expect. Then the cupboards doors were broken, door knobs broken. If we did not prepay we would have moved to another hotel. The pictures that they have posted on the web are deceiving. It is not worth the money that we had paid. "Loft poorly laid out"
The room is a loft layout. THe bed is up a flight of stairs on the second floor with the washroom on the main floor. The stairs are very steep and difficult to negotiate. Staff is very friendly and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Old and badly maintained"
Old and not well kept hotel. Bed felt like it had no springs left, and heater rattled all night. Door knobs were loose and felt unsafe. Only thing keeping this hotel in business is its proximity to the lifts. For the price tag we were paying, I would have expected a bed that helped me recover from the days on the mountain, and not add to the aches and […] pains. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Wouldn't go back"

"Adequate but won't go back"
While it is conveniently located minutes from the gondola on the village stroll, parking is not included in the hotel fee nor his wi-fi: both are at an additional cost. The room was clean, with a well appointed kitchenette. We were given no direction to our room: up the elevator on the third floor, down the hall, down two flights of stairs (to another […] third floor??). Confusing. The in-room heating systems is terrible!! It is based on window-shaker type of HVAC (heating/ventilation/air conditioning) system, where fresh air is brought from the outside and heated/winter or cooled/summer. It was -12C outside during the day (colder at night) during our stay and the heating had to be on, full-tilt all the time! It was NOISY and while baking hot in the loft-style room where the bed was located, it was cool on the first level (kitchen/living room). The unit kicked- on and off all night and we barely got any sleep it was so loud. For that alone, we will never stay in the hotel again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Neat hotel in the heart of the village!"
Hotel was amazing. Really neat room on the 3rd floor with a loft. Had our own deck too! The ONLY thing i would complain about is the bed. It was not very comfortable, but i am quite picky. Some may find it just fine.Genuine Expedia guest review
very accomodating to myself and my dog. loved the loftGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Big bucks, no bang!"
We were not told the bed was a murphy bed, so it wasn't as big or comfortable as the queen we were expecting. The walls were quite thin and you could hear other guests in their rooms, especially above us. The shower would suddenly get extremely hot and would not stay at one temperature when it was adjusted. When I went to make breakfast in the morning, […] I pulled a spatula from the drawer and it had old egg crusted on it from the previous guests. It was a bit annoying to have to check in and out from a different building than that in which we stayed, even though there was some kind of check in/out desk in the lobby of our hotel. Finally, $22 for parking per night was expensive and we should have been notified by Expedia.ca before booking. All of these rather small things added up to a disappointing stay compared to what we had expected. The hotel room itself was attractive and had lots of features like a kitchen, fireplace and dining area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
