Hotel staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Molokai was amazing, a great spot for peace and quiet, real relaxation! Room had a beautiful view of the water and room was super quaint! Would def stay there again. A bit pricey though.

We had a wonderful time in spite of the serious fire they had that destroyed their restaurant a few days before we arrived. The staff was very friendly. They were to reopen the bar and pool a few days after we departed (as soon as the fire inspection OK'd it) so they could provide live entertainment again. The problem with the Motel was they had a fire in the kitchen area and laundry rooms 2 days before we arrived. We were not notified. Our rooms were OK although there was no ice, no electricity for bar, or laundry facilities. It was an inconvenience since we had to drive to get anything we needed. The room we stayed in was a garden view which was newly remodeled and very clean, with a mini refrigerator, double bed, and free wifi. There's no AC but there is a fan and screen windows and doors that let the breeze come through. Made it feel very vintage Hawaii, which we loved. We had such a nice stay at Hotel Molokai, there was a beautiful breadfruit […] tree right outside of our lanai and lots of plumeria trees and bougenvillia. The restaurant was good and all the staff was very friendly and kind, and we really enjoyed all the live music on Friday and Saturday night. It is very laid back, so if you're in a rush this probably isn't the place for you. If you know how to go with the flow you will love it here! Most relaxing and magical place I have ever been to. A throw back to old Hawaii. 1960's Polynesian architecture on the outside but the inside has been updated and is comfortable with internet available. My first room was with a kitchenette and lanai. This is not the Four Seasons and if you're into high style and lots of action then this is not the place for you, nor is the whole island for that matter. I heard someone mention bugs in their room but they didn't seem to care. I had none in my room. Again, if that sort of thing freaks you out go to another island. The location is close the the main town and close to the gorgeous east side of the island. Best and safest swimming and snorkeling from shore is at MM20, Murphy's Beach. The concierge is helpful to set up tours and activities but if they don't have enough people for an activity you could be left out. Best bet is to follow up with Molokai Fish and Dive if the tour is short of folks. Read more

before i write my comments, i want to remind readers that when u choose to go to molokai, u should know what type of setting u r getting urself into. if u r looking for luxury or resort like service by staff members, molokaii is not for u. had some trouble getting to hotel once we obtained our rental car @ the airport. though on expedia it's called […] Aqua Hotel Molokai, you can't find the hotel on google maps if u search using this name. u need to search under Hotel Molokai. we called the hotel and confirmed the name. afterwards, it was very easy to find. staff members couldn't find our reservation. Somewhere between expedia and Hotel Molokai the reservation didn't get transmitted correctly. Staff members had our reservation on the wrong dates. this was taken care of very quickly and we still got a rm that matched our reservation. the property is ocean front. has a pool. has a free high speed internet workstation in front desk area. has a bar/restaurant that appears to be a popular local hangout as well. the design of their bldg is charming. it reminds guests, in a good way (as long as u r not looking for modern day luxury), that they traveled back in time and r visiting hawaii in the 1950s. friendly staff. very quiet. though the bldg.'s r adjacent to the hwy, there isn't much traffic to generate any kind of disturbing noise. they r about 5-min drive away from "downtown" kaunakakai. there isn't much around the hotel itself. If you're going for the hotel, skip Molokai. If you're going to experience Molokai, then this hotel fits right in. We spent little time in our room so the few thinks we didn't like were minor. We had expected air conditioning and the room did get hot during the day, but we were out in the air conditioned car so it didn't matter. It was comfortable at […] night. The loft essentially made it two rooms which was perfect for two adult friends traveling together. The pool hours (9 to 5) were not conducive to our using it, but then there was live entertainment in that area each evening. The restaurant was excellent. We ate all but one meal there and we did not need or use our kitchenette. The mattress could of had a cover under the sheet. When I saw the stains, well I was glad it was check out day. Read more

The hotel is old and in need of renovation. That said, the room we had was clean and comfortable. Two king size beds - 1 downstairs, 1 in a loft. No AC, but fan and open windows were adequate. Kitchen and Lanai adequate (coffee terrible, bring your own, also shamppoo etc - especially lotion!)The pool is only open 9am - 3pm, so do not plan on a swim […] after a day of sight seeing. The hotel is the local hot spot at night and the music etc can be loud - there is a weekly vendor sale on Fridays. Prom was also there during our stay - so if you do not want noise at night (the hotel provides ear plugs at your bedside, this should have been a tip off - see above no A/C so your windows are open) ask ahead of time of any planned events and request a room as far away as possible, or stay at another option (Condos). The resteurant was pricy, but excellent! With drinks we spent about $125 for dinner for 3. This is the only hotel, so if you want a hotel on Molokai - this is it. Also Alamo rent a car is available at the airport - call them directly - National is out of the hotel - $32 Taxi - coming and going, no shuttle - so call Alamo - the internet will tell you National is the only option. The staff was very friendly, the hotel restaurant was good. The rooms are dated, but in a quaint way. As a business traveler my only issues are: 1. No in room internet, I do not desire dragging my computer to the lobby so I can sit in public taking care of my work. 2. The cell coverage(At least on my company Iphone, AT&T was horrid) this included in Kaunakakai […] proper. 3. Lastly and more importantly, I am not a young man anymore, I need back support on my bed and prefer a firm mattress, the bed I had here was so soft I felt that I was going to die. I asked for a back board to be placed on it and it never was. If I ever have to stay here again I will just throw the mattress on the floor to avoid days of back pain after my visit. １棟3部屋のコテージ。2人×2人で2部屋予約しましたが、フロントの方が荷物を見て！？部屋割りを。大きなトランクを抱えて上るには厳しい2階。ですが、2階のお部屋はコンドミニアム使用。階段を除けば快適。　目の前の海は何故かいつも濁り気味との事。　朝にはちょっとしたフルーツをいただけます。　レンタカーが有れば、市内にも近く買い物や食事に困る事もありません。近くにはキレイなビーチもあり、本当に日本語の無いHawaiiがありました。

空港からほど近く、便利な場所にあるホテルでした。チェックイン当日、荷物を預かってもらおうと出向いたところ、すぐにチェックインさせてくれました。泊まった部屋は３階棟でエレベーターがあったため、荷物を運ぶのも苦になりませんでした。部屋へ向かう途中の中庭に小さなプールがあって、外国人宿泊客がのんびり静かにくつろいでいました。スタッフも親切で、のんびりとしたいいホテルです。

Oppholdet ble gjennomført som en flukt fra Honolulu som var overfylt av hektisk turisme. Med bakgrunn i dette var det en befrielse å komme til dette hotellet med sine sin meget rolige atmosfære. Hotellet var lite og koselig og atmosfæren vennlig. Rommet var relativt rent, men uten aircodition. Hotellet lå ved stranden og ga god utsikt, men stranden […] var ikke spesielt innbydende for bading og var preget av grunt vann og ikke et naturlg sted for strandsoling. Hotellet lå i litt for lang avstand til at det var naturlig å gå, men helt greitt med sykkel. KJøkkenet på hotellet var under renovasjon pga tidligere brann og medførte at de ikke serverte mat, annet enn burgere i baren. Dette gjorde oppholdet noe krevende i høytiden rundt nyttår. Det anbefales på det sterkeste å ha leiebil hvis man skal få opplevelsesutbytte av opphold på dette hotellet og på denne øya. Hotellet hadde et relativt lite basseng som ikke inbydde spesielt til å bade i. Hotellet generelt var preget av lokal enkel og vennlighet og ga god mulighet for å nyte stillhet og ro. ift pris var hotellet helt greitt. Read more

選択した部屋タイプがスタンダードで2ベッド希望なのでいたしかたないが海側と正反対の道路サイドのため、車が通るたびに音振動がうるさく、エアコンがなく扇風機が片側壁かけのため風が来なく、シャワー後などはかなり暑かった。あと２Ｆのギシギシ音(他宿泊者）がかなり気になった。 火災によるレストランの消失の案内をニュースで知って問い合わせたが、あまりはっきりしなかったが実際使用できず、食事の手当てを毎日他でしなければならず、大分不便を感じた。
