"Could not have been better"
A very quiet ,well run hotel with an excellent staff. The resturants were excellent and the food delicious. The resturant manger "JAMES BOND" was exceptional and did everything possible to make your stay a pleasant one. Our maid ANNA and her little animals made your room a delight to return to each nite. We will return .Genuine Expedia guest review
"Lovely, relaxing, wonderful vacation"
We had a lovely time at Villa premiere - loved the welcoming massage, the easy going atmosphere, the location. The pool was great, drinks at the pool pretty low quality, but the food and drinks at the two restuarants was wonderful. Great location - easy walk to the Malecon and shops, busses and restuarants in walking distance.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Romantic winter getaway in a beautiful place!"
Upon check-in we promptly received our champagne and neck massage as promised. It was fantastic, and a great way to unwind after a long flight. Everything about the hotel was relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were very courteous and helpful without being annoying in any way. Our room was wonderful with a large jacuzzi tub, large tiled shower, and a […] very comfortable king bed. The staff kept it very clean and treated us to turn-down service and towel animals each night. We purchased just the breakfast plan and enjoyed elegant breakfasts each morning right by the beach. We definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we return to Puerto Vallarta. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"EXCELLENT REPUTATION IS WELL EARNED"
The Villa Premiere certainly lived up to the many positive reviews we saw on line before we decided to stay there. It has all of the features offered by many of the larger resorts we have enjoyed. However, because of its size, we found it to be quiet, friendly, and very pleasant in every aspect. We found the staff to be very responsive to every need […] and a few minor problems that we identified. Blown light bulbs that we reported were replaced the same day and a problem we had with the in-room safe was corrected within minutes after we reported it. Because we have been to Puerto Vallarta many times, we know that there are many fine restaurants around the city. For that reason we choose the European plan including a continental breakfast. At our first breakfast we found that our plan included anything on the breakfast menu which was excellent and extensive. That was a nice surprise. We also ate many of our lunches at the hotel because of the nice menu and the convenience of going just a few steps from the pool or beach to the restaurant. Again, lunches were wonderful and reasonably priced, Both the pool and the beach were delightful and we spend most of every day at one or the other. Again, it was a minor complaint, but despite the no smoking signs around the pool several cigar smokers made it unpleasant for us to sit up there on at least a couple of days. We couldn’t have been happier with our two weeks at Villa Première and we will definitely return in future years. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Coming back every year!"
BEYOND what we could have imagined. We were never in need or want. Guac and beer all day along with culinary treats for every meal. No hidden fees or any surprises. Watch for the spa specials each day and take advantage of the free cooking/cocktail classes, smoothies & massages poolside. Staff is unbelievable and we couldn't get over how every guest […] we met had been there over and over again. We will now too. Oh and PERFECT location. My husband and ran to the Malecon everyone morning and walked there every night for entertainment. Truly a remarkable experience. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Quiet, nice hotel with delicious food"
The hotel is at a great location near to Malecon and old town. It is of medium size so it is not too big and overwhelming. There are a few restaurants where only sit down breakfast, lunch and dinner is served. The food is absolutely delicious and it is of five star quality. I was so impressed with the quality of the food and the service of the staff […] that even though I was disappointed with the condition of the hotel I would go back again. The staff definitely is the best asset of this hotel. After one week I felt like we were a big family. They knew what we liked, how we wanted out steak to be cooked etc. I hope the management will do some renovation to this hotel because it would definitely be one of the best ones in the Puerto Vallarta area. "Great Place to Stay"
My wife and I stayed here for a week from Dec 25th through Dec 31st and loved the hotel. The hotel is in great condition and the staff are friendy and great to work with. The location is great as it is within walking distance to the Malecon where there are tons of great restaurants, bars and shopping. The pools are not super big, but definitely adequate […] and we never had a problem finding chairs around the pool. The beach is great in front of this hotel. "A slice of Paradise"
This place and area is a slice of paradise. You are welcomed with a glass of champagne, a cold towel and 5 minute neck and shoulder massage. From there, the location is amazing right on the beach with the best food I have ever had at any resort. The staff is more than helpful. They also should have the 2nd restaurant done soon and that will open only […] making the place even better. I have no major complains at all. I would recommend this place to anyone, but it is great for couples. We also did a massage at the spa and it was amazing. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Second time there. Love it. BUT! Wifi weak but maybe it was my room. Avoid shower during peak times. COLD.Genuine Expedia guest review
We had a wonderful experience at the Villa Premiere. Everyone of the staff was professional, and most accomodating, especially Fidel our bar tender. The hotel's location is perfect, 15 minutes walk to the Malecon, and 35 to 40 minutes walk to the Old Town where all the great restaurants are located.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect to Relax"
This is not a large, loud, party type of hotel. It is small, quiet and offers exceptional service in all areas. Everyone working here will go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay there. If you feel like a night out dancing, it is very close to walk to many shops, bars and restaurants. We have stayed at many large resorts in the past […] and our specific goal this time was pure relaxation which this hotel provided. We never had to wait in large lines for drinks and rarely even left our chair for one! The meals take quite a while, but they are generally 2-4 courses and they are worth the wait. There is no buffet here but you can order food from your lounge chair, your room, or attend the restaurants. ALL of our food choices were amazing and delicious!! We have not had better service at any resort than this one.....ever! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Outpost in paradise"
Villa Premiere was a delightful little outpost in paradise. The room and the view were great, and especially fabulous were the two hanging thatch-roofed beds at the end of the pool, and the four beds on the beach. The magnificent staff brought us drinks and snacks poolside -- and I was surprised at how little pesos it all worked out to at the end of […] the week. (We did not take the inclusive.) The location is good, walking distance to the malacon, although I fell in love with the Romantic Zone and might try a hotel and apartment there if I return. Much appreciated was the fact that the only music piped through the resort was a little New Age massage music; not the 70's-80's disco playlist you heard so many other places in PV. The only thing I'd recommend to the hotel would be to install ceiling fans. A/C at night was sometimes necessary but wouldn't have been with a fan. Sarah the concierge was truly helpful with all our evening plans. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect PV Vacation"
This was our 1st resort vacation. We worried that we would feel confined staying at the same place for the entire trip and eating/drink on site. We couldn't have been more wrong. We loved this place! We were very glad we went for the adult only resort and the all inclusive option. The resort itself and the staff were all very welcoming. The food was […] fantastic...really fantastic. They varied the menu each day, so we tried plenty of new things every day. The staff made the experience even better. They were friendly and helpful and we were absolutely sad to leave. I never thought I would want to go back to the same place twice on a vacation, but I have been missing this place even since I left. If you're on the fence, book it! "Will return post-construction"
To begin, the customer service here is exceptional. It's a lovely and helpful team. Besides the restaurant construction noise (mostly heard at the lobby and lower floors), the hotel is beautiful and very welcoming. I understand the restaurant opens November 6, so the construction noise will no longer be a hindrance after that. I checked into the hotel, […] because I needed a reliable internet connection to do some work (I live in a small town about 25 miles). Much to my chagrin, I was 15 minutes late for a very important online meeting because of some issue with the internet. It then worked fine for the remainder of my 3.5-hour meeting. That was stressful, but Gabriela at the front desk was working hard to help me. I would come back to the hotel for pleasure (not for work) after November 6. It's in a great location, and to start my stay out with the friendly service, a glass of champagne, and a chair massage was a delight. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Can't wait to return!"
The hotel and staff are incredible. The main reason for choosing this hotel was for its small size, ocean views in every room and most importantly no children. Our room (2610) was the deluxe oceanfront located on the corner on the sixth floor. The view was incredible and in my opinion so would any view from any room. The staff in every area was helpful […] and their English was very good. The overall best part of the trip was the food. Every meal was incredible. The ability to order room service 24/7 and get good food not just snacks around the pool was also nice. On a couple occasions I wanted something not on the menu and they came through and made it happen. We did the all inclusive and I would definitely go that route again. We traveled 10-14 thru 10-20 which was the end of the rainy/slow season. It rained one day but we knew to expect that going into it and it only rained for 2hrs. The only downside to the whole trip was one of the restaurants was under construction. Around the pool there was noise but after a few minutes I did not notice it. I knew about this before arriving only because someone else mentioned it on Expedia and Trip Advisor. The hotel could have put this on their website as a courtesy. That being said, they are working to continuously improve the property and they have to do remodeling at some point so I don't count against them for that. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be back. Can't wait to try the new restaurant on my next stay! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

This is the second trip to the Villa Premier and the same staff was there as polite and helpful as ever. My wife and I were delighted by the whole experience. "Exceptional Spa perfect for couples getaway"
This Hotel is VERY nice! I chose this hotel after reading many of the positive reviews and they are all correct, this is a great Hotel and Spa. It IS a bit older, but it is kept VERY clean. The spa was fantastic and the messuse was exceptional. When we arrived we were greeted with a glass of champagne and a neck and back rub while our room was prepared. […] Before we could get up to the room, they had delivered our bags, our choice of pillow, and aromatherapy. We were escourted by a staff memeber who told us about the hotel and gave us a few tips on the local area. We chose the European plan vs. the All Inclusive after reading the reviews about the local restaurants. Again, they were correct, and we were glad we did because this is where my only disappointment came. The dinner service was horribly slow. We sat with no drinks, no bread, not ever a waiter passed by for 45 minutes on several occasions. Once the food arrived we were blown away with how good it was, but the "experience" takes WAY too long. I personally don't care to spend 4 hours at dinner. So, our remaining nights we took a 30 peso cab down to the boardwalk (it is within walking distance too) and dined at some amazing restaurants. I recommend the Punto because it was very high quailty, good service, and right on the water. Other than the dinner service, the entire staff was exceptional. The pool bar was fantastic and the servers were very attentive. The prices for the European plan were reasonable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
No where were we warned about the construction of the new restaurant which was right next to the pool. It was very hard to relax by the pool. If I would have known about the jackhammers I would have booked elsewhere. Very dissapointing. The staff tried to offer ear plugs but who wants to wear earplugs and not talk to anyone? The service was amazing. […] Never order room service. Everything we had tasted as if it was weeks old and re-heated. By the time it got to our room is was cold and hard. "Romantic and relaxing for honeymooners"
Extremely friendly staff. Quiet hotel during off season which had its perks. Nice clean pool and honeymoon suite. "Great hotel for single travelers, friends, couples"
It's a great small hotel right on the beach. The swim up pool bar is nice, though service for food from the beach or pool bar is very slow. The only compliants I had about the room is that the 'aromatherapy' upon arrival in the room was so artificially-smelling and way overpowering--I had to open up the patio doors wide and crank the fans to get the […] smell out. Some of the throw pillows were also very mildewy, and smelled like B.O., so I put them away in the closet. I didn't spend a ton of time in the room except for the first night. I do not recommend eating room service or at the pool bar. Eat at the restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast is especially great. Avoid asking for fish, because it always arrives overcooked (I ordered it 3 different ways, 3 separate times). The people are very nice and sweet. I wish I had known that there was going to be construction during my stay--I might've booked another hotel. The jackhammer was going all day long. If you are out & about on adventures or tours outside the hotel, it doesn't matter, but won't if you are trying to enjoy the day by the pool. I like that it was a smaller hotel, no kids allowed and only blocks away from the malecon, clubs, restaurants. The best place to eat is outside the hotel at the taco truck by the gas station--this is where all the locals go. The skybar on the 1st floor was odd but fun. I would definitely go back; hopefully no jackhammers next time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Overall this hotel does compare favorable to other hotels. First was the food. Although the food was of decent quality the time it took to receive it was pathetic. I don't want to wait 15 minutes for my simple breakfast to be brought out. Not to mention that I did not get to order for 10-15 minutes after I was seated. If my coffee cup had been kept […] full, and I wasn't always having to flag somebody down for a refill, it might have been more bearable. Lastly i am used to the bill being presented immediately following the meal. Not having to flag the waiter down again to sign the check, which I felt was just a way to get you to leave a tip. All inclusive, hardly. Everyone waited around for a tip. Bartenders, wait staff, bellboys, etc. The hotel had one choice for food. Just one. Wether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. Second, the pool and beach area was small, almost dismal. There were no activities, music, or for that matter anyone at all by the pool. There were two cabanas at the end of the pool which were nice but they we always occupied and unless you wanted to sleep there be prepared to stare at nothingness. Lastly, don't expect to see anyone anywhere near the hotel. The beach to the north was rocky and derelict, there was a old ruin there, and even if you opted for a massage by the ocean, the locals climb up and around the tables to get to their fishing spot. I will never stay there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect for Couples"
My gf and I just got back from a 10 day stay at VP. We both really loved this hotel. Food: I've been to several all-inclusives in the past and this was by far the best food/drink wise. There are NO BUFFETS so all the food is prepared to order. I really liked the healthy salad (beets/pears/sprouts) and the seared ahi steaks for lunch. WE both also loved […] the tortilla soup and carnitas tacos. Only bummer was that they ran out of steak and lobster on the steak and lobster night! (a few other people got really salty about this--I ordered the fish skewers and it was an excellent substitute) The 24 hour room service was also nice when we didn't feel like coming down for a meal. As for drinks--I liked that the beer comes in bottles and you could order a decent tequila sipper (don julio reposodo --no anejo which was a bummer) They also had mid shelf brands for rum, vodka, etc... HOTEL/ROOMS: The best part for us was that the hotel was quiet and couple friendly. There is no crazy MTV cheesy beach party scene here. You get a VERY relaxed poolside experience (with swim up bar!). The music was very lounge/chill--one day the had a dj (again very mellow vibe). Another night they had jazz. Our favorite was the Cuban band that played at dinner one of the nights. The band came to each table and took requests. Very cool. The rooms were very nice but a bit small. We upgraded and got a room with a jacuzzi and balcony The service was also excellent (especially Javier, and Carlos). Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Terrific Quiet Luxury in Puerto Vallarta"
Villa Premiere is a true luxury hotel located just blocks from the center of Puerto Vallarta. The staff are simply wonderful and the food terrific. We went to Puerto Vallarta for a 5 day vacation. This is by far one of the best hotels we've stayed at. The hotel is smaller than other resorts. This makes the experience more personal in my own opinion. The staff are unbelievable. Every single staff we were in contact with was very friendly. They really went out of their way to make each detail count. […] From Chef samples at dinner, to the incredible room service, the the Buttler, to Reception; I was amazed they remembered our names and room number everywhere we went. In speaking to a few waiters, I found out that the vast majority are not only veterans at that hotel, but some have been in the hospitality industry for 15 years and above. The Restaurant Manager (Mr. 007 Bond), has been in hospitality for over 20 years not only in PV but Cancun and the best hotels there are. The quality of staff is the best. The food, I can attest with 100% accuracy, is the best food I've had at a resort ever. The variety, the quality, the presentation and the flavor is 5 star. We enjoyed the variety of drinks and plates tremendously. The facilities are very nice, the pool is cleaned by a whole team daily, the swim up bar is fantastic with top shelve alcohol brands. Room service was excellent and the variety offered in the menu 24/7 was really excellent. All in all, we are very happy with the details, the facilities, the care and the attention we were given for an awesome vacation. We are definitely going back next year! We had a wonderful, fun, relaxing vacation at this beautiful hotel. This was our first time to Puerto Vallarta and now are already dreaming of a trip back. The staff at this Hotel are super professional, attentive and just plain nice. The wait staff is great. "Six stars out of five! Romantic and immaculate."
I wish I could give this hotel six stars! EVERYTHING was perfect - the food, the staff, the room, the location, the ambiance, the pool, the service, the spa, etc. We upgraded to the Master Suite and it was by far the best decision we made. The extra living space both indoor and outdoor made such a difference. We ordered room service more just so we […] could enjoy our room! It wasn't super crowded when we were there, which we were grateful for b/c we were on our honeymoon. Adult only made it the perfect romantic setting. The boutique feeling of a smaller hotel was welcomed too. The all inclusive package was also the way to go. It was so nice not to worry about what things cost (from the stocked fridge to the restaurants and pool bar). And the FOOD! Best Mexican food we have EVER had (no exaggeration). And we're from San Diego! The flavors and creations were so gourmet and we ended up eating all but one meal at the hotel because we knew we wouldn't get a better meal in town. Walking distance to the boardwalk. We got a neck and shoulder massage when we go there and not a single person at the hotel asked us to listen to a timeshare presentation (we heard almost every hotel tries to get you to do this so we were very relieved). The pools were just perfect and the cabanas were our favorite! Morning yoga on the beach. It was seriously perfect. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great for adults who want to chill in Mexico!"
This hotel is great for those who want to chill at the pool and listen to groovy ambient music, plus enjoy the spa treatment and aromatherapy environment. Food is great, though I recommend getting the European plan vs. the all inclusive plan; that way you have more choices to dine in the local restaurants and not feel like you have to eat at the hotel. […] Though we did not take full advantage of the spa, it is top-notch and has a great reputation. The staff is great - always courteous and polite, everyone speaks English (this is true throughout PV) and eager to please. Thumbs way up on this one!!! Overall a great place for adults - no kids allowed. Went in July, which is the off season, and it was hot. But, there are plenty of chairs at the pool and the swim-up bar is very cool. "All around great hotel"
Villa Premiere was a great hotel to stay at. The facilities were very clean and the staff was excellent and very helpful. The location was great, more towards the middle of the bay so it was centrally located and very accessible to all areas of Puerto Vallarta. It costs about $50 pesos to taxi pretty much anywhere. The room was very quiet and comfortable […] and they paid very close attention to detail. I spent my birthday here on my vacation and without saying anything, the staff kept wishing me happy birthday and even made me a cake! The gym facilities were way more than I was expecting for a hotel. The spa services were amazing. The beach was spacious and quiet and clean unlike other resorts we saw on the beach. "Quiet and comfy"
The hotel is very nice. Every place I have stayed in Mexico has beds that were like cement. These were comfortable!! When you arrive here you get a glass of champagne and a chair massage while the prepare your room. They give you a choice of bed pillows, which range from soft to harder and also let you pick your aroma(therapy) for your room. The employees […] are very helpful, courteous, friendly and just all around wonderful. Every room has an ocean front view. There are two pools, one for swimming and the other has a swim up bar. This hotel is not one for a party atmosphere, it is for relaxation and comfort. Almost too quiet for my personal taste, I enjoy music by the pool and there was none. Some hotels have outdoor activities such as buffet by the pool or some other theme...not here. It is close to downtown, you can walk to the malecon easily or take a taxi or bus.
