A short guide to Tiergarten
Tiergarten, an expanse of greenery located in the city centre, is Berlin's largest park and features the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Victory Column, Bellevue Palace, Soviet Memorial and the zoo. Extensive renovation of the government quarter along the Spree, including Potsdamer Platz and the main train station, has spread to land that was formerly the border zone. The park is popular with runners year round and outdoor food vendors in summer.

Most comfortable and enjoyable stay during a conference. Great quality and highly recommended. Although the taxi drivers don't know it as The Pullman - but The Schwarzhof (black bear!)

Hotel was ideal for business in Berlin as I was in a conference in the INtercontinental. The hotel is lovely and the staff friendly and welcoming and everyone always says hello regardless of who they are or where they meet you. Service is good. It was great to walk across the road and get out of the conference hotel

The Sofitel Schweizerhof is a good choice for those who wish to explore West Berlin. It is centrally located with many rooms facing the lovely Tiergarten (you may wish to specify this in your reservation). The room was very comfortable and the service was professional.

Beautiful new hotel, wonderfully convenient location, cordial staff. All the stuff of a top rate hotel. But my stay was marred by housekeeping service that was spotty to poor; an undisclosed whooping 18 Euro per day charge for using wire-based internet (the hotel did disclose the fee for using wireless); and the inability of the hotel staff to figure out a 10 Euro a day discount for food and drink offered by Hotels.com. I don't believe that the hotel honored that discount. So while I loved Berlin, next time I'll find a better place to stay.

la chambre etait tres loin de la reception, j'ai été obligé d'emprunter de longs couloirs et 2 ascenceurs pour acceder a ma chambre, la TV ne marchait pas tres bien (interruption du son) et le telephone etait en panne :(

Super fint hotel med helt fantastisk Spa område. Dog mener jeg der i 2009 bør være gratis internet på et 5 stjernet hotel. Og måske lidt billigere P-faciliteter til hotellets egne gæster.

Meget bra hotell som ligger rett ved Berlin Zoo og Ku'damm handlegate. Billigere i helgene enn ukedagene. Er hotell for flyansatte (bl.a. Lufthansa) noe som er et kvalitetstegn. Masse spisesteder innen kort avstand, og kollektivtransport få minutter unna. Berlins største kjøpesenter (KaDeWe) er 5 min. unna til fots.

very central location, great breakfast buffet, good fitness equipment, room littlebit disappointing for this kind of hotel, staff helpful and friendly, a typical hotel chain so nothing for somebody who is looking for something really charming and extraordinairy. but I would recommend it to everybody looking for a central, nice, modern hotel with good service and a great spa area (though the spa area was closed for construction while we were there).

Het is een goed 4-sterrenhotel waar wij wel weer terug zouden gaan. De kerstboom was indrukwekkend, we hebben er alleen een lunch genomen maar die was heerlijk, net zo als het ontbijt. De kamer was goed, ook goed geisoleerd naar de straatkant toe, maar niet bijzonder. Het zwembad was heerlijk, samen met sauna en massage. Het geeft een echt welness-gevoel
