Great night's stay. Stopped in town just for the night and were very satisfied with our stay. Couldn't be better! Front desk even called and asked if we liked the room after we got in.

Room was clean but discovered things in room that shold not have been there. Pool and hottub was overly chlorinated and received slight chemical reaction on skin. Would not stay again. Staff was helpful and courteous.

This hotel was perfect for us. We had a "stay-cation" in celebration of my son's birthday, and it worked great for that... The pool is the perfect depth for children that are just starting to swim and it was warm the whole time we were there. The hot tub was nice and hot, too, which isn't always the case at other hotels. The room, as well as the rest […] of the hotel smelled very fresh and clean. The carpet was even clean enough that my new white socks did NOT turn brown after walking around the hotel room in them, unlike other hotels. The beds were comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows to ensure just the right comfort for everyone's tastes. Overall, this was an excellent experience. My only concern was that the indoor pool was cold, and our children could not swim in it. Otherwise, all was good.

The stay was more than awesome. The majority of the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms, pool area and breakfast area were very clean. The continental breakfast was above ordinary compared to others I have seen. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you have children.

Overall our stay at the Fairfield was a good experience. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, well decorated and looked newly updated. The bed was very comfortable. Sheets were soft and there were extra pillows. Bathroom was nice and roomy. There was no noise or other disruptions during our stay. The breakfast was OK. The hotel was undergoing major renovations when I stayed - I was leery when I arrived but figured I would give it a shot. I work nights when on the road so i got back to the hotel around 6am, had breakfast and went to sleep. At 830 AM i awoke to jackhammering outside, yelling and screaming from the workmen and a crew of men tearing off the siding of […] the hotel right outside my window. I went to the makeshift lobby/closet and found the girl working there and asked if I could have a different room away from the noise - she tried to accomodate me but there was nowhere in the place away from the noise. I saw a couple checking out that looked very unhappy....noise and dust everywhere. I asked the girl to call over to the Springfield suites and see about a room there (right next door). They gave me a discount rate.. I took it - I had to work again that night and needed sleep. The Fairfield Inn should have just closed down for a week while these heaviest of renovations was underway. The hotel is convenient to the mall, Target, Walmart, and local restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly. A little difficult to get out of parking lot if you were making a left turn onto Stage Rd, as there was no traffic light. Housekeepers did not pick up dirty towels daily and we had to keep asking for clean towels. A/C was very noisy, and the […] fan would not run continuously to keep air flowing through the room unless you set the A/C on a low setting. You were then frozen by the A/C. I have stayed at fairfeilds before and this is the low end of them all. I assumed their would be a small refrigerator in the room an there was not. I found mold growing around the sprinkler heads in the room. They don't enforce the non-smoking policy.

The Fairfield in Memphis was very clean and made staying there a pleasant experience. The pool and hot tub were sparkling clean. We were right down the street from a huge mall which made the trip even more fun. I stayed 4 nights and did not have any problems. Would stay there again.

Stayed one night on way home from Texas. The baggage cart was falling apart - that should have been a warning. The floors were filthy and streaked with dirt and our bathroom was generally dirty looking. The "manager's reception" was supposed to be between 4:30 and 6:30, but nothing was put out until almost 6:45pm and it was just water and some bad chocolate […] chip cookies. When we got down to breakfast the server was still putting things out almost 45 minutes after it was supposed to have been ready. The food was average at best and there were advertisements everywhere for a breakfast quiche, but when we asked where it was, were told they were still waiting to get them. Why put the advertisements out if you don't have the product? All and all we were very disappointed and the price was way to high for the quality.
