"NO COMPLAINTS"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
I was not disappointed in any way. The location was easy to get to and a magnificient view from the room of Niagara Falls set the tone for the whole weekend. Dinning was great and service was above my expectations. What more can I say.
"great experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
great hotel with phenomenal service from the front desk staff. i noticed there were no robes in our room and mentioned it to the front desk as we left to visit the falls just so they were aware and i wouldnt get charged for them. i told them i really didnt need them. when we came back, there were 2 robes in the room, fresh cookies on the desk, new chocolates on the headboard, the bed was remade, and there was a hand-written note. could not have been happier with the stay

"Very nice hotel except for parking fee!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
This hotel will not disappoint. It's beautiful, clean, close to falls and has friendly helpful employees. Only problem was I wasn't expecting to pay an additional $12.00 + tax per night for outdoor parking! FYI, if you make a local call from your room you'll be charged $1.00 per call. Food was a little pricey but very good. Will definately stay there again.

Nearby, MarineLand Canada features killer and beluga whales. Gamblers can chose between Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino Resort, one of Canada’s largest. The Skyline Inn is as advertised. You pay for location and that is exactly what you get. It is located in a prime spot with plenty of parking and an ever helpful staff. For the priceline that it is attributed to its an A+ but due to its priceline it's also very popular with groups, teams and clubs. That was the most negative part of the experience as […] these teammates became very rowdy on Saturday night at the falls. I don't blame them too much. Read more

"Awesome Family Hotel for Niagara Falls"
Very cool hotel to take family to. Very convenient to most entertainment and a Perkins Restaurant attached. The evening of our arrival they had a showing of Lion King 2 for the kids in one of their courtyards, and this just showed us where the hotel's heart was. Great visit!
"Too much to fork out!"
I booked Skyline Inn through Hotels.com for the price, convenience, and water park for the kids. When we checked in, I was told there is a per day fee for a roll away bed. That was not told on Hotels.com. There is also a per day fee for the parking. Again not told on Hotels.com. And there is an additionals fee of per person fee for the water park. That […] is also not stated any where on Hotels.com that none of these things are included. So here we are thinking we got a great deal on a hotel stay and the waterpark for our kids when in actual reality I had to pay almost double AND the water park is not even open everyday. Very limited hours and they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday for cleaning and maintenence. Seriously!?! I pay all of this money AND there are limitied hours? I can stay down the street for more then half the price less and have a pool for my family to use. We will most likely will not stay here again! Read more
"Skyline Inn in Niagara Falls"
Hotel was clean. Beds were hard! Service at front desk was great. Recieved free parking and discounted tickets to the Water Park. I loved the courtyards and the nightly movie they offered for kids. Unless your planning on being at the waterpark the whole time you are visiting Niagara Falls I would recommend staying at one of the hotels on Clifton Hill. […] Other hotels (like the travellodge for example) were right in the heart of all the entertainment. A little bit of a walk from the Skyline Inn. Read more
"Skyline-Great alternative for location and price"
Its a great family oriented hotel. Clean and in a great location. Walking distance to the Falls. Connect directly to the Water Park wich is very cool. Has the Perkins restaurant on site which serves great breakfast. Had problems with wifi connection, but everything else was fine.
"Skyline Inn. Affordable hotel in a great location"
If you are looking for an affordable hotel at a great location in Niagara Falls this is it. Not the Ritz but a clean, family friendly hotel. Strongly recommended.
"Skyline Inn Niagara Falls"
Truly enjoyed our stay at the Skyline Inn. Got great rates through Hotels.com. Hotel was neat and clean. Staff was very friendly. Close walking distance to all attractions. Would definately stay there again!
"Friendly Staff - Great Location"
The staff was very friendly upon check in - Great location we parked the car car upon arrival and did not need to get the car until we checked out

"niagra falls canda"
close to all must see sights and staff was great
"Awful hotel"
The room was ugly. The lamp did not work. The air conditioner rumbled, and they set up a HUGE TV screen at 8:30 just outside our door in the ugly Courtyard to show a very loud children's movie. The parking is also bad. I do not recommend it unless you are looking for a very noisy, unpleasant, and pretty expensive hotel Not worth the price.
very good location and hotel. Bed and pillows are uncomfortable.

The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting Niagara Falls.
Hotel was perfect location and was priced right. Bed was a little uncomfortable and hard and found stains on the sheet and mattress. Did not go to the waterpark so would have liked a pool.
"excellent customer service."
The hotel is in a nice location close to everything(specially for kids activities). I would say that the customer service was excellent, which is rare to find when the price of the hotel is low. I would recommend this hotel is cheap compare to others, nice locations and good service.
"skyline in niagra falls ont."
I took my son to niagra falls for his 10th birthday and stayed at the skyline hotel. Our room was great and also had a fridge so we were able to save a little money by buying breakfast and lunch items. The walk to downtown where all the attractions are were only minutes away. The waterpark was a walkway away.Really enjoyed the kids movie night that is […] provided every night with free popcorn. Will definitely stay at the skyline again. "Close to Clifton Hill"
The hotel was walking to distance to Clifton Hill road which has a lo of restaurants and attractions so it was convenient. The maid of the mist and the people mover stop is at the end of clifton hill so that was convenient. The only complaint is that you could hear your neighboring rooms very easily.
"Hotel Great - Dealing with Hotels.com Infuriating"
The Skyline Inn was great. Really good value for the money. Would recommend it to anyone who would rather spend less vs having a view of the Falls. Room was super clean.
"Skyline Inn - Great location to see Niagra Falls"
If you're on a budget and want to stay close to the falls, in a fairly nice hotel, this hotel is your best bet. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the beds were comfortable. For those reasons, I'd stay here again. There is a big downside to consider however: The hotel has wi-fi, but the signal was not good in our room. We had to go to […] one of the indoor courtyards to get a good signal. The courtyards are not to be used between 11pm and 9am. For me this meant sketchy access to my ipod, web searching on my phone, and reading my kindle during those hours. Because of the layout of the hotel, I felt closing the courtyards at night was a good rule to maintain quiet rooms. The hotel does offer something called internet tv. I didn't look into this, as the tv being on would have disturbed others in the room who were trying to sleep. If you want to swim, buying a package that includes the water park is a good idea. Going over to the Crown Plaza Hotel to swim is quite a walk. One other thing to note. The indoor courtyards are a great feature if you have young kids. The kids can move around, and if you are bringing in carry out food for dinner it's much better than eating in the room. Definitely a family friendly hotel! Read more
"Excellent Hotel"
We booked the hotel sight unseen the morning of our arrival. If we had done a little more research we would have checked in earlier to use the water park. We loved the free movie at 8:45 for the kids and the close proximity to all the attractions and Niagara Falls. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.
"The Skyline Inn"
Their AD is extremely deceiving, there is a separate charge for everything....there is no onsite swimming pool or slides and you have a pay a seperate fee to access the facilities across the street. The beds are extremely uncomfortable with really hard mattresses. There is no onsite parking and you have to pay pay pay to park it across the street, where […] it's shared with a Casino. Perkins is an absolute dump and it's connected to this hotel, such a waste of time and money. This entire area is a tourist trap and this hotel unfortunately chooses to deceive in order to fill their rooms. Wish I had heeded the bad reviews before I went there, it took away from the experience, when the lies about the place came into play when we were checking in. Read more

"Skyline Inn Niagra Falls Canada"
Great place to stay would love to go back.
"Terrible customer service"
This hotel had some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, we had no tv for three hours and made four phone calls and two visits to the front desk before the problem was resolved
only good think about it was location.other than that, nothing so good.showers from upstairs room we could hear very loud.doors next door room too loud ,when closing.
"Great location"
This hotel had a warm welcoming staff, including the housekeeping staff. At check out I was very impressed with the extra care that the front desk took to get me directions etc.

"Skyline Inn, Niagara Falls"
You should be very proud not only your Inn but the staff you have providing service to your guests. We did not encounter one unpleasant comment, everyone is very courteous. The location of your Inn is prime, we will be back. Thanks again.
"It was ok but..."
we fountremolos wrappers on what should been a clean trash can when we got inside the room. I'd file it under the "isolated case" folder. The front desk experience though was wonderful.
"Adequate hotel in a great location"
The hotel is nothing to write home about. No fitness facilities or pool, but you do have access to use surrounding hotel pools and fitness room if you don't mind the inconvenience of walking to them. Breakfast does not come with the room, but you get a 10% discount at the Perkins restaurant. Our room had a great view of the air conditioning unit to […] the Perkins restaurant below us. There were some stains on the rugs and the beds are not very comfortable. Our air conditioner was leaking on the floor making it wet in the corner, but one call to the service desk and a guy was in my room within minutes to fix the problem. All that being said, for a two night stay with two children and that close to Clifton Hill, you can't beat the price. The catwalk to the water park was nice and they give you a great price on the tickets to get in (don't pre-buy online). Many kids there and they had a movie night in atrium to help them calm down after an eventful day. So if you are going with kids, I would recommend this hotel. If it is you and your significant other, then spend a little more and stay at the Crown Plaza or Sheridon for a view of the falls from your room. Read more
"Service"
First off, it took 20 minutes to check in, not to mention the 3 people ahead of us took 20 minutes to check in so we waited like over an hour to get our room. Then I reserved a room with a king bed, when we got to the room it was 2 double beds. I asked to front desk and the lady told me she "forgot" to tell me they didnt have a clean room wih a king...... […] I proceed to express that what I reserved and wanted was a king bed, then when she looked again in the system, she "happened" to find a room with a king bed and moved us. So it was a headache since we had to go back to the room and move all our stuff to another room..... Then at about 6:45am our phone rings, its the front desk asking us about a wake up call.... mind you that we didnt have!!! I was so looking forward to sleeping in too without disruptions since it was our first night away in 7 months since we had our baby. SO much for no early morning disturbances! EH! Read more

"Not bad"
It's a little noisy and one of the pillow sheet have old blood stain on it. Parking is $9 which isn't too bad. Location is very good. Not bad overall especially for the price I paid.

"Great location, very good service"
Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. The only downside was the parking. Not a nice walk to and from in the pouring rain.
"Great Hotel for Kids!"
Staff was friendly! Room was clean! Location walking distance to falls...one block from Clifton Hills area...kids loved the nightly movie night. Location, Price, and friendly staff def made this best hotel for our trip!
"Curiously laid out hotel."
The Skyline Inn is on the northern part of the Niagara Falls tourist district, just north of Clifton Hill so it is quite conveniently located. If I had kids and wanted to get a water park package, the enclosed skybridge would make that great year round. The rooms were clean, newly-renovated with moderately upscale covers and a leather chair, so that's […] nice. The hotel overall is all inward-looking around two courtyards, so it's kind of an odd case. There is no natural light in the rooms unless you leave your curtains open, in which case anyone in the common courtyard onto which the rooms open can watch you in the evenings. This means it is very DARK in the room in the morning, so if you need/like natural light to wake up, this is not the place for you. I saw the other reviews about noise from other guests in the courtyards, but as I was there off season, I had no problem with that, but I think that was because it was quite empty on a Thursday night. The complimentary earplugs on he nightstand, though, kind of suggest they recognize the problem, but the layout of the hotel makes it impossible to solve. So a very nice place to stay in terms of comfort, but probably not where you want to go for a private, quiet, non-kid stay. That's why I have the odd situation of giving the place of 4+ stars out of 5, but I wouldn't likely recommend it to others, UNLESS they had kids and wanted to go to the water park. I'd also suggest it would be a perfect place for a school group to take over an entire courtyard, though I would hope no other single/couple travelers would have the misfortune to stay in that courtyard with them... "Perfect for a family with young children"
Ideal for families with young children. Close to main attractions, courtyard with cartoons each night. Certainly recommended.
"skyline inn close to niagara falls"
The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the rooms were well taken care of. The only issue we had was that you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. We could hear talking and walking from the room above us. For the price it was well worth it though.
"Skyline Inn Niagra Falls Ont"
Booked 2 rooms at the skyline inn for 2 nights. Staff was prosessional rooms and bathrooms very clean. The only thing that was a bother and this is a BIG THING, was that i was given 2 court yard rooms, and it was very noisy from 10pm to 1am, despite the sighn in the lobby that reads no noise between 10pm and 9am. There must have been a school trip for […] teens and they were staying there. I do think hotel staff did adress the problem because after 10pm the noise was not coming from the caurt yard but from the rooms (doors slamming , talking laud laughing etc...) Got up at 6:30am (i'm not the kind to sleep late) and saw teens still running around court yard knocking on each others doors then running away (pulling pranks) 1st night was on a thursday, 2nd night friday was much better no problems teens were gone. "Skyline Inn"
Very noisy since it is connected to waterpark, most of guests have small children who scream and run the halls all night. I booked a room that had a king size bed and a view of the casino and planet hollywood, but was given a room that had 2 double beds and a view of the inside hallways. Hotel could not accomidate. Not a very nice hotel for the price. […] Family stayed in much nicer hotels in area for way cheaper. PARKING SUCKS!! Very inconvenient and an additional $10 a day. Read more

"Very conveniently located at the heart of the city"
Upon check in, we were offered free room upgrade to family suite. For 2 adults and one child, we had 3 queen size beds. Neat, smoke free room with refrigerator and coffee maker in the room, along with iron and ironing board. I wish they had microwave oven. Very friendly staff, great adjoining water park, parking$10/day is not bad considering you can […] go in/out unlimited times per day. The Perkins restaurant is next door and you get 10% discount being Skyline guests. A block away, close to cliffton street (near Dave & Buster)is Curry Queen, a small Indian restaurant, Highly recommended for price and quality of the food. Quiet neighborhood. Will definitely stay there again! Read more
"Hotel-Skyline Niagara Falls Ontario"
Would recommend with only the condition that people understand that this hotel is older and retro-fitted with current fittings to bring up to code. The carpet needs updating and the sounds of the other guests hotel room doors closing with huge bangs at all hours did not make for a pleasant stay the whole two nights. Staff, however, could not have been […] more friendly or accomodating. They were cheerful, friendly and helpful. Offering to change rooms but my husband has Parkenson's and we did not want to move once settled. If you can stand older hotels this one is fine. Read more
