While you tour around Mumbai, be sure to visit the Juhu Beach—an extended stretch of sandy beach from Santacruz to Vile-Parle. This beach, on the shores of Arabian Sea, is the most renowned beach in the commercial capital of India, Mumbai. It is a superb spot to enjoy the sunset whilst tasting some local Mumbai snacks such as Bhelpuri and Pani Puri. If you are lucky, you could even get a chance to watch a shoot of a Bollywood movie. Children can enjoy a trip to Juhu Beach with a horse, donkey, or camel ride in addition to a variety of amusements that are on offer. Numerous vendors, food stalls, and entertainment outlets add to the jovial atmosphere.

I spent my last night in India here before flying back to the UK. I chose this hotel as i had visited guests there back in 2004 and was impressed with the service. I wasn't disappointed this time either! When being picked up at the airport and checking in, the only error was that I was down as a "Mr" instead of a "Miss". However I was then upgraded to larger room and I have to say it was a fabulous experience. My only uncomfortable situation was in the hotel restaurant. I was not feeling too great so was choosing dishes I knew would not upset my stomach. However the waiting staff didn't approve of my choices and were constantly telling me that what i had chosen didn't go together and that was not how Indians ate the dishes. However, I would still return here in the future.

Reviewed by T of REUNION on Jun 14, 2009

Reviewed by R of Renkum on Oct 12, 2008
