The room was very clean, service throughout the hotel was excellent. Room was exceptionally comfortable. Service amenities from on site cafe, great lounge, one of the city's best restaurants on the premises, cabanas by the pool give more of a resort feeling than just a downtown hotel.

It was our first time in St.Augustine. Casa Monica Hotel is centered in a great spot. You can walk to George St. Where all the resturants & shops are located. The staff is friendly. There is a Star Bucks inside the Hotel. They sell the trolly tickets as well. The only thing is that there is no free parking @ the Hotel. They charge $24.99 + tax per day. I didn't see that in the Expedia site. We Parked free @ the Trolley place. And by time we got back the meter parking was free till 8am the next morning. The max time is 3 hrs. But, there is a parking lot in front of the Hotel for $8 a day. I am definetly going back to St.Augustine & I am definetly staying @ Casa Monica again. Read more

The room and hotel were absolutely beautiful. The staff were great. The location was awesome...however, be aware that you will have to pay $25 for valet parking since you are downtown. Overall, a very nice hotel with a great downtown location that is walkable to shops and restaurants. We like that there is an informal cafe in the hotel for coffee, snacks, etc. However, considering that this is a boutique hotel and the room rates, they really need to upgrade the tv's in the rooms (even a small flat screen would be in improvement over […] the picture tube undersized tv's they currently have). The other item for improvement is the fitness center--it's smaller than the size of one hotel room so there is minimal equipment and hardly any room to move and/or stretch. Our room was very quiet and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the decor in the lobby and the hallways as well as the shops and galleries connected to the hotel. The location was perfect for walking around town to see the shops on St. George St., restaurants on Charlotte St., and the Bastillo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a great hotel for a week day traveler. The price was excellent and the location awesome. The Spanish castle decor was impressive. We regret not trying the restaurant. There is a Starbucks right down stairs with internet access. Don't forget about the "old art district" its hidden and the tiny brazilian restaurant there was fantastic.

It's in the heart of the downtown area...short walk to the fort, the oldest schoolhouse, oldest house, lions bridge, flagler college across the street, lots of places to shop and eat. The valets and bell hops were awesome with helping us get to our room and extremely helpful everytime we picked up our car to go out. My husband and I enjoyed our overnight stay at the Casa Monica. The lobby is beautiful and the staff was very helpful. When we called for extra towels, they were there within minutes. The valets were quick to pull our car around. Downsides: the hotel pool is very small and the gym is even smaller, so just be forewarned. The valet parking is unbelievably […] expensive. You can't get a much better location though, right in the heart of old St. Augustine and within walking distance to everything. The Hotel was strategically located walking distance from anywhere you need to be, bars, restaurants, sightseeing, beaches, you name it! I knew I chose the right place when I walked up and saw the starbucks sign in the lobby's little cafe! YES! The building structure […] its self is amazing. Built in 1888 and restored in 2000, this 19th-century Moorish Revival castle is located in the oldest city in the United States. The Casa Monica Hotel boasts intricate balconies, an arched carriage entrance, and hand-painted Italian tiles. The lobby features graceful Moorish columns and original artwork. The hotel is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.*(Paranormal Orlando site). When you walk in your room, you will listen to the amazing ambiance music they have very tastefully selected, very soothing sounds that make you want to melt with relaxation! The bathrooms are nicely updated and very big. The King size bed has gorgeous plush bedding and an amazing velvet headboard I couldn't stop photographing. Windows were a bit small but we still had a great view of the courtyard next door and the rest of the town. We stayed in the 4th floor and had some rowdy girls next door but with a click of a button (SPEED DIAL 0) the sounds stopped and I got a great night's rest! The entire hotel experience is pretty awesome! The valet never gave us a ticket for our car and it took an hour to get it after check-out! Outside of the poor valet service during the prime hours of Sunday check-out, everything else was amazing!
