The front desk people were not very friendly. When we got there first the African lady didn't even lift her head from her busy work to greet us. There was a different person every single time we went in or out of the hotel. The room was very small and on the first night was so hot we had to open the window to the noisy street to let some cooler air […] in(we stayed there in January). Also there was no shower curtain, the shower head was in a bathtub. The water of course went everywhere. The hotel was noisy at times. I prepaid through Hotels.com but they still charged me a city tax when I checked out. The guy at the front desk insisted on cash, it amounted to 8 euro, rather than argue I just gave him the money....It just appeared shady to me. Read more

Very convenient location from Gare du Nord. The room was small (3 people), but not tiny and very clean. The people were very helpful and nice and spoke enough English. There are several Metro stops within 5 minutes of walking, a yummy bakery at the corner and a bus line directly to the Louvre stops in front of the hotel. the room was very small/ couldnt fit in the shower/barely turn arund in the bathroom. NO clock in the room, no wake up service (they said "its not working") poor customer service. It was pretty clean though seemed very expensive for what we paid.

The hotel is is quite and the staff is willing to help you. They have a good breakfast at 7.50 euros and are quite generous. My son and I have spent two trips with the Marburg and it is locaterd near the Gare du Nord and is in a good area for good and inexpensive restaurants. Everything was fine, checked in, room was as expected for a cheaper hotel in Paris. When I went into the bathroom it wasnt clean , there was blood on the basin( a good smear ew) and only one towel ( we had booked as a couple). We went downstairs to ask for it to be cleaned and the hotel attendant told us it couldnt be cleaned until the morning when […] the cleaner arrived. When we suggested he clean it he said it wasnt his job and suggested we use a tissue. After we told him that wasnt acceptable he just shrugged , and so we went and purchased disinfectant and did it ourselves. Freindly staff, great location to catch trains, neighbourhood a little bit dodgy. Convenience stores nearby as well as pharmacy. I enjoyed my stay here, the room was small and the bathroom was smaller but my partner and I found it cosy and once we packed our clothes away there was enough room for us to move, we even managed to workout in there even though it was small.the wifi was excellent and the warmth of the room was amazing. The hotel was under renovation wich we did not know since we have not been informed about it from the hotels website or e-mails. There was a terrible noise from early morning to late afternoom, and actually impossible to stay […] at the hotel between these hours. Apart from the tight squeeze for space (but this IS Paris after all ) the hotel was decent enough. The staffers who manned the desk were outstanding, mostly; the others were friendly enough. staff were very friendly but that is about as good as it gets. bed had a plastic protector on it which made for an uncomfortable sleep, floor hadn't been vacummed for awhile which is not good if you have a curious 2 year old. Wall sockets were hard to find (only 1 and that was not well situated). thin walls so were kept up to 3am with the laughter of […] italian women next door. A lift which could act as a dummy waiter in a resturant as can only take the bags and to top it off a bathroom about 1 x 2m. ユーロスターやタリスを早朝深夜に使う予定だったので、北駅の近くにしました。北駅は危ないという口コミを多く見ますが危ないと感じたことはありませんでした。スーパーも近くにありとても便利でした。部屋が少々狭いと感じましたが、困ることはありません。スーツケース２個がギリギリ開くスペースはあります。スタッフの方はフレンドリーな人たちばかりでした。

ただ寝るためだけのホテルとして使うのであれば北駅も近く便利だし、そんなに問題はないと思います。バスタブのある部屋に泊まりたかったんですが、バスタブは３人部屋にしか無いと言われました。無料wi-fi使えました。
