Great service. Clean hotel. The breakfast buffet is a tad overpriced - would most likely have gone for it if it was $15-Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great stay at Aava Whistler Hotel. The hotel is located just off the village square but easy walk to the slopes and restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location but thin wall..."
The location is great, short walk to the main stroll of the village, but the wall and the door are too thin, you can hear conversation in next doors and hallway. The house keeping started cleaning in the next room, just past 8 am. It was so loud and could hear every move from opening a toilet seat and shuffling things around and off course the vacuum […] cleaner. Too bad, it is a convenient location and the hotel is simple but nice enough but I don't want to hear noise from other rooms. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice resort close to everything"
5 minutes walk to the village and main lift. Free locker and boot warming storage. We will definitely come back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel withing walking distance to all"
Location is great. Right across the street from all the downtown whistler attractions and plentiful restaurants. Quite rooms, clean and easily accessible. Private underground parking is $20 per night, pretty good pool and hot tub. Bike wash/repair station is kinda cool. Card key access and concierge. Would stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location, nicely appointed, very comfortable beds. One of our favorite amenities though is the bike valet. It is SOOO nice to have our rather expensive bikes securely stored and not have to deal with them ourselves. Most places tell you to lock them up in their "secured" storage area of the garage, but I've had multiple friends lose parts and/or […] bikes that way. Thank you for offering the bike valet! It is peace of mind for us! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"On my short list of fave hotels at Whistler"
The combination of amenities, location, and helpful staff make this one of my favorite hotels. I think it is the best hotel for the money in the village. Other hotels are on the strip, but to be honest, you never really want that. Even if you are in party mode, you likely are not hanging out on the balcony in your room. And if not, then you definitely […] do not want all the noise. But, the staff at Aava is just the best. No nice helpful and cool. Even after we had checked out they still treated us like guests. So classy. I will go again for sure. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Paper thin walls made for a very noisy 2 night stay. No microwave in room. Bed was too soft for two people to share.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel and close to the village."
We had planned to stay for just one night but we were so pleased with the location of the hotel, the pleasant and helpful staff, and the comfort of the room, that we decided to stay another day. I would choose that hotel again, if we decide on another visit.Genuine Expedia guest review
"First time in Whistler"
It was our first time to visit Whistler, the hotel is within walking distance to everything restaurants, shopping and sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and the beds were comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Average hotel great location"
The Aava Whistler Hotel is the place to stay if you are a downhill biker or skier and spend most of your time outdoors. The room was small. The halls and elevators are worn from the wear and tear of active outdoor people. Friendly staff, very modest accommodations. Bike wash and repair assistance. It did not feel super clean. Parking same price as other […] hotels. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Recently updated, loved the bike valet"
The Aava is a pretty typical hotel that has been recently updated with modern furnishings and decor. Not a bad choice for staying at Whistler. The location is a block or two from the pedestrian area, which could be good or bad. There isn't a restaurant on site, so you'll need to walk over for each meal. Loved having a bike valet service to take the […] hassle out of storing the bikes. The rooms are on the small side and felt really cramped for a family of four. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Lovely hotel, nice high ceilings, comfortable bed, clean, nice rain shower, great location but the walls are thin and you can hear the neighboring rooms. The mini fridge was too cold and froze my food. Wouldn't want to be here during a hen's night or peak season. Also, parking is $19 a night, which I think is a little steep. The conference centre down […] the street is $10 a night. But overall 4/5 and I would return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice place to stay. Would have been nice to know that the mountain bike event of the year was being based out of the lobby of the hotel. The noise, large crowds, etc were a bit too much for our relaxing visit to Whistler. Would stay here again but would call the hotel directly to see if any large events are being held there during our planned stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room we ended up in was good. They had at first put us in the worst room of the building, but after complaining they moved us to a good room. The girl at the check-in desk wasn't very friendly, but other staff were fine. We liked the location to the village and under ground parking.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hey! Not bad."
Location of the hotel for the price is good, which is the main reason for us staying there. We were just there for the one night while touring the area. Our room had a musty smell and the carpet was quite stained. Thankfully the window could open and after about 4 hours the mustiness was bearable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Aava Whistler -"
Great for the kids and their bikes. Staff was excellent and very nice to both my son and I. Very comfortable place to be.. We will go back for sure...Genuine Expedia guest review
We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable hotel. The views were outstanding and they even let us use their bikes for a couple of hours for free.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel with some small annoyances"
I was very happy with Aava--location is great, beds are comfortable, staff is very helpful. I didn't give it a 5 rating for two main reasons: a window without a curtain and the lack of a bathtub. After hiking all day, going to dinner and drinks, and getting to sleep late, I don't really want to wake up at dawn. But that happened when the sun came through […] a square window high on the wall that was not covered by a curtain. If changes in light don't affect you, you'll be fine, but I wasn't. And I was hoping for a bathtub to relax in at the end of the day, but both rooms I stayed in (the deluxe and superior rooms) only had showers. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, Functional, Convenient"
This is not a ritzy hotel with lots of bells and whistles, but it was very, very comfortable, very clean, great, comfy bed, great water pressure and close to everything we wanted to do in Whistler. Very good value! I would (and have) recommended it to others)Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Overall great experience.Clean room, small fridge, small safe.No radar oven.Had to ask front desk to have maintenance cover a high window with a cover as sunrise the first morning let in too much daylight at 0515 am.Very close to village (2 minute walk).Small pool and hot spa.Small exercise room and dry sauna.Parking is $19.00 a night plus tax above your […] room rate and taxes. They charge $19.00 per day to park in the under ground garage. I arrived around 1:30 PM on Monday and parked there I was never told there was a fee to park. When checking out on Wed. at 7AM They had charged me for 3 days parking. I contested, and eventually the charge was dropped.Genuine Expedia guest review
Aava included some perks that other hotels did not. Specifically, the use of their bikes for two hours and a gopro camera. Also, there was no charge for calls made in town, as was the case in another nearby hotel. I know these are little things but it's all the little things that create a good experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
I WAS VERY UP SET THAT I NEVER SAW INFO FROM U OR THE HOTEL ABOUT 19.00 A DAY PARKING FEE THAT WAS TERRIBLE I HAD TO PARK IN PUBLIC PARKING A MILE AWAY NEVER AGAIN IF YOU CanT SHOW THE TRUE PRICE THEN I WILL USE A DIFFERENT SERVICEGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"BC Bike Race conclusion"
Stayed here previously (4 years ago) due to it being wonderful: best staff, bike valet, bike wash, bike tools, GoPro demo, coupons for dining/spa that are in the area. Just a short walk from all of Whistler Village/Upper Village. Staff is very accommodating when it comes to bikes and wanting you to have the best experience while visiting. Clean rooms, […] pool/hot tube, and hotel. Covered, underground parking is a bit tight with larger vehicles. There is a nightly charge for parking. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value with a little bit of Noise"

"An OK one."
First and foremost, this was our first trip to Whistler and it is one of the most beautiful places I've been to! The lush summer foliage over the mountain, combined with snowcaps on the top, added by the perfectly-situated lakes in and around Whistler. I wished we would've stayed longer! Hotels there are expensive, without a doubt. Aava was in the […] mid-range and we booked from Expedia after looking at several comparable hotels in the area. We came down to Westin and Aava. Both look gorgeous from the pictures. I wanted to avoid the 30/day parking charge from Westin so I went with Aava. However, upon arriving, the hotel lobby did not look nearly as nice as the pictures. It was quite dated and not clean. The check-in lady wasn't really enthusiastic talking to me as a guest and she wasn't able to find our prepaid reservation on her computer. I brought in my paperwork and email confirmation and she had to go back and forth to her manager to sort things out. I had to go back to my car with my family and waited there for about 15 minutes because it took a long time for them to figure it out. But to their credit, they managed to find a solution without making a fuss about their missing reservation record and gave us the room we were looking for. The room is clean and has a high ceiling, which is a plus, but it is oddly-shaped. It's long and narrow and with the beds and cabinets arranged in the narrow side, there isn't much space to walk through. Plus, there was a 20 parking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good deal in summer"
This hotel was modern and clean. No bars, restaurants and spas if that is what you want. Very close walk to the village and lifts. We were here in the summer and got a great deal. If you are skiing and want to walk straight out of the hotel into the village, you will need to go elsewhere; you need to cross one road from here, but it is indeed really […] close. The check in person was very unfriendly and I was advised that there was 19.00 parking fee. I feel that should be included in the price because there is No other place to park and 19.00 is pretty pricey for a resort. The bathroom floor hadn't been cleanedGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"If you want to be in the Village"
We stayed in summer: wanted a retreat, not a ready location for active events. I called ahead and asked for a room that faced a mountain, not a pub scene. They gave me the best they could, but the hotel is meant for Whistler goings-on, not for a quiet get-away. My disappointment was that the little window was viewable only if you sat on the sill, and […] the bed faced the other direction. Sigh. But my bad to expect a hotel in the village to not be part of what the resort is there for! If you're looking for a good deal to be part of the scene, this is the place. "Nice hotel for mountain biking at Whistler, BC"

"Classy, high end hotel"
Really clean beautiful room, very soft sheets, great locationGenuine Expedia guest review
My spouse and I came here to enjoy a weekend away over the May long weekend. We showed up to find a church convention going on with hundreds of screaming children everywhere... We were constantly woken up by the loud noises of the families in their rooms, in the hallways, elevator, in the pool etcetc made for a very irritating stay. We were looking […] forward to using the ammemities that this hotel offers such as pool, hot tub and sauna but each day we would look out our window at the pool area to see a swarm of families taking over the pool and hot tub. Therefor we did not get the chance to use any of these ammemities. The hotel clerk when we were checking out asked how our stay was and apologized for the noise she said they had tons of complaints throughout the weekend.... I really like this hotel over all and we have stayed here before. Next time we will stay at a larger hotel over a long weekend to avoid this issue from happening again. "Overnight skiing getaway"
The hotel was conveniently located - less than 10 minutes walk - from the Whistler gondola. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The shower was large - enough for two! - with a "rain shower head" which made the apres-ski shower that much nicer. Secure ski storage (personal locker with lock provided) close to the lobby. The hotel has a hot tub […] and a heated pool with a partial view of the slopes. Very nice way to sooth sore muscles! Overall, it was a pleasant stay with equally pleasant and helpful staff. We will return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"walking distance to all"
the aava hotel was clean, offered friendly service, and was close to the village and the chair lifts. if you're a serious boarder or skier, however, it's not ski-in/ ski-out, and after 3 days of lugging equipment you start to notice. having said that, i only have positive things to say about the aava and it's staff and it's overall location. nice p […] lace. We arrived late and left the next morning to go skiing. Clean room. Decent equipment in exercise rooms. The $19/nt parking seems out of place in Whistler.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Colder than the weather? Try front desk personel.."
If you want to be completely ignored by the front desk staff every time you come back to the hotel, then that hotel is for you. The front desk staff whether in the morning or afternoon would always look like they were too busy looking in their computer screen to even acknowledge your presence and even nod or smile. Then when you dare to ask them something, […] they answer you looking annoyed. It is a shame as the hotel is not bad. Too bad also for the lack of breakfast service which would have been much more practical during the winter. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
