"Exceptional experience driven by outstanding staff"
Staff, staff, staff. Accommodating at every level and at all times of the day. From the bike valet who hoses down your bike to the bike tool/Go Pro desk attendant who sets you up with a complimentary Go Pro for they day (myself and my 9 year old son, two days in a row!). At first I thought the location might not be as convenient as the main Village […] but it was as convenient as other base village locations less the bar noise and rowdy revelers late night. We'll be back fo sho! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
They offer to build your bike after shipping. When I injured my ankle biking they brought me up crutches, offered to take me to a clinic. They washed my bike, took my bike apart and boxed it up. They valet your bike. The jacuzzi outside was awesome. Friendly staff. Great location. Can't wait to go backGenuine Expedia guest review
"Super friendly staff"
I was thoroughly impressed with the Aava. My two boys and I stayed for a week-long mountain bike trip this summer. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff would see you ride up on your bike after a long day in the park and immediately come outside to greet you and ask if you wanted a bike wash and your bike stored. The hotel has a […] permanent bike wash, bike stand and tool stand for the guests. There are also free "cruiser" bikes, should guests want to use one around the village. The front desk had free GoPro camera usage and would load your videos on a disc at the end of the day. The hotel had a great pool, hot tub and sauna with clean towels at your disposal. It was close to the village and super convenient to shops and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and the modern architecture and design was very appealing. I would recommend the Aava, hands down. "Quiet, clean and close to Whistler Vil activities."
The Aava was not the closest hotel to Whistler Village but it was a few minutes walking distance from all of the activities - restaurants, shops, hiking/biking etc. We parked the car for our stay of 2 days ($19 per day - more than we expected although there is free parking 10 minutes walk from the Aava) and enjoyed walking through both Villages. We […] took the Peak to Peak gondola for ~$100 and hiked near both Whistler and Blackcomb peaks - beautiful mountain peaks all around and Blackcomb had a pretty Alpine Trail loaded with pine and flowers (and flies). After coming off the mountains we also enjoyed a hike through Lost Lake Park. We enjoyed some outdoor eating at some of the Village Restaurants but also used the grocery stores for some more modest breakfasts in the room. The weather was a little warmer than normal for the area during our stay - 89 degrees F our last day there, but it was great for outdoor activity. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Within walking distance"
We stopped in for one night. This hotel was quite clean, and in close walking distance from all the nightlife spots along the village path.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location. Not there long enough to fully explore, but ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"excellent hotel, near to the gondolas to mountains"
A great hotel near to the entrance to whistler mountainGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, close to the village but not IN it."
We walked to the village every day for meals and the gondola ride up the mountain.Genuine Expedia guest review
Perfect location, close to everything. The staff was extremely helpful. Rooms were comfortable and had beautiful views of the surrounding area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very decent & centralized."
It was ok, looks a bit older on the inside than appeared on the outside, which reflects the price I guess. For those who wanted to have a microwave in your room, I strongly advise that you request for it well in advance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
perfect for our biking needsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We had the best time! The staff was super friendly and the hotel was clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great hotel in whister village"
nice quiet hotel not in the busy part of the villageGenuine Expedia guest review
Overall a great experience. And the hotel service was fantastic. The only negative thing was that we could hear folks when they were loud in the adjacent room, but they were quiet before we went to bed, and they didn't disturb our sleep at all. (We put the fan on just to make sure ... )Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place in whistler village"
Great experience, friendly staff, free two hour bike rental, nice room, great bed!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the village"
Speed check in and check out.but parking should be include with hotel stay package ,that will be great.Genuine Expedia guest review
Maybe not the fanciest, but the price is right and parking is convenient. Great walking distance to the village and Whistler Golf Club.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"RoadTrip - Whistler > Kamloops > Omak"
We took a four day road trip starting from Seattle. Whistler was our first stop, and it was our first time there. We booked Aava because they had the best price and located near the village square.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel but rooms a bit small"
Overall, the stay was pleasant but we found the two queen delux room for family if four a bit small and cramped. The staff was very polite and responsive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Accommodating to bike riders with wash station."
We loved our stay. They staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. They accommodate bike riders and have a bike wash station for the cyclists! It's close to dining and shopping. Room had a refrigerator, coffee maker, flat screen TV. Bed's were comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel staff and facility cater to bikers. It has everything you can need and set just enough away from all bars that you don't get the noise. I highly recommend the hotel to all mountain bikers and families.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very enjoyable stay, amenities were extra nice, thick towels, Aveda toiletries and a Keurig coffee maker. Location is good, just on the edge of The Stroll, less than five minutes to restaurants, shopping and the Whistler gondola. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent value!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, Comfortable and Helpful"
This hotel has a really nice and cool feel. It was very modern and though the staff was young they were very polite and helpful. The room was super comfortable and clean, though there was a little wear and tear on some of the furniture. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to center, far enough for quiet"
Excellent value. The room would be much improved with a loungerGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and convenient"
We ended a twelve-day road trip through British Columbia by visiting Whistler and staying at this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and a convenient location. Very short walk to the shops in the village. Will probably never be in BC again, but will stay at this hotel if in the area again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent stay for a last minute reservation. Everything else in Whistler was reserved much sooner so this was an great alternative.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Neat and clean but not good for light sleepers"
The hotel was neat and well kept. Staff was good and friendly. Very close to village . Only issue was that the walls seems transmit noise, I could hear the people in neighboring room or even people walking in the hallway, so couldn't get sleep at all . So if you are a light sleeper like me this is not a good hotel for you.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great looking, but..."
The hotel had many nice touches, a large bathroom and super comfy king size bed. However, the walls were a little thin. We could constantly hear people walking above us and talking out in the halls. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I got a great deal like I did this time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had a great time staying at here for 5 nights in January for a ski trip. The hotel was a few steps further away from the ski village center — but a few steps are magnified when you're wearing ski boots and lugging equipment around. With that said, the rates were very competitive and I'm glad I stayed here. I do wish this hotel would consider instituting […] a slopeside ski pick-up service like one of the other nearby hotels did. Descending the outside stairs to the ski locker room was also quite treacherous in boots. The room was perfectly comfortable, although it had a vibe more like a business hotel than a vacation hotel. The big hot tub is definitely the social hub of the place. I felt so sorry for the staff who had to scrub rock salt out of the carpets 24/7. One of the best service features of this hotel was that they had GoPro cameras to lend out. I used one for 3 days of my stay, and it was wonderful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome hotel, nice location"
We had a great stay at this hotel. Rooms were very clean and nice. We had a great view facing the golf course and mountains. Hotel staff were very friendly and room service was quick. The lounge area could be better , perhaps more inviting and a bar/light food option might be nice. Overall, we were very happy staying here and would stay here again in […] the future. "Long weekend getaway"
Traveled to Whistler for the Memorial day weekend, and really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are nice and quiet, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed their outdoor hot tub, and also their fitness center. The hotel isn't fancy, but its clean, well lit, modern and just the right size. The location was perfect, just across the street from the village stroll. […] The mattress was firm (in a good way), and comfortable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice room very friendly staff"
The room was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The walls seem a bit thin so I could sometimes here neighboring rooms but it wasn't a problem, just a bit odd.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Newer hotel in Whistler area. Great location."
Great location and roomy rooms. Beds were comfortable, free WiFi and convenient to all. We enjoyed our time here. Cons - no breakfast, had to pay for parking (free if you use FourSquare) and computer use to print something.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"No complaints. Nice room and location."
We weren't there for skiing, so it is difficult to say if the location was good for quick access to the slopes, but it was close to the village area. Not sure why parking cost is so high though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great weekend get away"
I booked this hotel to celebrate my husband and his brother's 30th birthdays. We had a great time! The staff were friendly and the beds were really comfortable! We had great sleeps! It's a couple minute walk to the village so the location was awesome and it was reasonably priced.Genuine Expedia guest review
the Hotel is good with a good location. The only negative is the fact that the walls are not insulated, and you can hear people in the corridors, next room and upstairs. Don't forget your hear plugsGenuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect location, and best price. Very up to date"
Loved the free WiFi that automatically connected iDevices WITHOUT login/password! Concierge was fantastic, thorough, and even took the time to draw on a map and give us the layout of the village. Location was a very easy walk to/from the lift, and directly across the street from the two bars/clubs that stayed open the latest. Couldn't be happier with […] my decision to stay here. "Just what we needed"
The hotel was just what we needed - close to the village, comfortable, and clean. Everything seemed up to date and working well (fast & free wireless). Staff was friendly and helpful. Free ski storage downstairs. Walls seemed thin - but we had a room at the far end of the hall, so that helped. We had no noise issues. I would call this a no muss/no fuss […] hotel. "Great Hotel. Perfect."
The best and most friendly staff. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Perfect place.Genuine Expedia guest review
I just want to say Hartman at the front desk was outstanding. He goes above and beyond to help you and make sure you're taken care of. Aava was a surprise to me. My friend recommended it, I didn't expect much, but was very impressed over all. The only negative I could find was the pool area. Only one hot tub and at night the lighting is so bright, […] I'd swear its a cruelly brighter than daytime. Not the most relaxing thing after a long day if skiing. That was the only somewhat negative thing I could find. It's so minor it's hardly worth mentioning. Over all its a great hotel and will definatelly stay again. "Cool ski hotel"
My two boys and I loved this place. We liked the style of the place and the vibe. We had some special parking needs and the staff was great about it. An easy walk to the gondola is also great. We wii be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great room, service and price. They got GoPro to borrow and no fee required. I'll stay here if I'm going to Whistler again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel with Easy Village & Slope Access"
One of our new favorite hotels, and we've been to several in the lower and upper village. Only negatives: no fireplace and no stove in the room. Individual gear lockers in basement with free hot drink machine. GoPro demos available, but need to grab one early (starting at 7am). Heli skiing vendor adjacent to hotel. White Top restaurant on property. […] $19 underground garage parking. Be sure to ask which wing your room is in before going to park to be on the right end of the garage.
