"center of the city"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The hotel was very nice. Very close to Piccadilly station. all kinds of shopping and great areas to see. I had a great time just roaming the city. The only bad experience I had was that one evening at 3 in the morning the next room decided to have a gab fest for an hour. other than that I was very happy with my stay.....
"Great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Room was very clean and comfortable. The location was great as we took the nearby Oxford Rd train station often. The breakfast was excellent.
"Very spacious"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The hotel/Aparthotel was huge. I was disappointed about being on the ground floor, but other than that it was very good. I would have appreciated the presence of UHT milk with the sachets of coffee. The kitchen was fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, kettle and fridge - could have happily fit four people in the room - which at the rate I paid a night would have been well cheap! The bathrooms were clean, plenty of towels and, importantly free wifi - although one does have to sign up to a website. One passcode per device, but relatively fast.

Everything was wonderful, but the room was very warm. No air flow. But other than that it was just fine.
"Great Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 29, 2012
The Holiday Inn Express was within walking distance to most anything in downtown Manchester. It was clean, quiet, & cozy, the staff was great and very nice.

"Great location for airport travel without much els"
The hotel is situated between terminals 1 & 2 at Manchester airport. Terminal 3 is a 15 minute mostly indoor walk. Service was friendly though we requested a queen bed and were given two twins without notice then when we inquired about a switch they first said no queens were available then offered us a disabled room. We accepted and found the bed to […] be two twins latched together. The room service was prompt but the quality of the food was disappointing. Frankly I expected a little more but it was quite easy to get to our gate. Read more
"First Class Accomodations!"
We were treated like royalty the whole time we were there! Courteous staff and beautiful room! We will never stay anywhere else!
"Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester, Airport"
Stayed at this hotel because we had a late night arrival and an early departure the following morning to USA. No problems with check-in, the room or the food/service in the late night pub. Worth the extra price for the convenience of being on the airport and minutes from the terminal. Staff very friendly and helpful.
"Radisson Manchester UK"
Pleasant and very convenient

"Radisson Blu Manchester not worth the money"
I was not impressed, for the price I expected a room that did not have broken chairs or ripped wallpaper. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the short walk to the airport and train station. The bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor. The pillows and comforter are down filled and when asked for synthetic filled was told there were none. […] Had to use my travel blanket and pillow. I wish I had stayed at a different hotel, next time I will. Would not ever recommend this hotel. Read more

"Radisson Blu, Manchester Airport"
If you need an overnight between flights this is the perfect place. Ideal location, walk with luggage cart from any one of the terminals right into reception. Comfortable and friendly staff. If you're not on an expense account, breakfast is expensive, so eat at the airport for a lot less.
"Charged 50£ for nothing!"
My only complain about the hotel is that they charged my credit card 50 £ even when no incidental charges were incurred. When contacted to dispute the charge, they said they will reimbursed the charge in approximately 5 days. In the meantime I'm stuck with the interests accrued by the charge. When checking in they never mentioned they would charge the […] credit card. That is BAD business practice. Read more
"Superb Choice"
The Radisson Blu is located within the airport and was a perfect choice prior to our departure. In the morning we took the five-minute walk with our bags to our airline, completed our check-in, and returned to our room for a leisurely shower and breakfast. When flying out of Manchester, we will definitely do this again.
"One Stay"
The hotel has connected to the airport via a walk way. This is very convenient. Th staff was friendly and helpful. The room clean and quiet. The room cooling did not work very well, it got rather warm (not hot). The hallway was much cooler, and at one point I considered openning the door to let cool air in, but considered it to be unsafe to do so.

I would recommend this hotel relating to the fact that it is in the airport and so easy to access the terminals and train station, The rooms and furniture need updating.
"Radisson Blu, Manchester Airport, UK"
The reception and the room were both great. Checkout was easy. I didn't find the menu as satisfying as I did on my last visit when I had a wonderful piece of salmon cooked to perfection. I was trying to find an appealing fish selection and was unable to accomplish that goal. The food was okay but I wish there had been a wider selection.
"Radisson Blu at Manchester Airport, UK"
The hotel's location is fabulous because it is essentially within the airport. There are covered walkways from the terminal to the hotel and from the hotel to the train station. Since I was coming in by air and leaving on a train (and vice versa), it was great. The hotel staff were very friendly. I did not have to wait in line at all. I had a nice dinner […] in the Runway Brasserie. My room was quite luxurious and spacious. The bed quality was not great--very out of line with the rest of the room. I was baffled by the locked refrigerator. Also, room was very quiet. I would definitely stay there again if traveling through Manchester. Read more
"Lovely hotel with very sad beds"
Really lovely room with a heated floor in the bathroom. Exceptional room and then you try to sleep in a sad old bed. What are they thinking? They need to follow the Shearton and the Hilton - there room was nicer but the bed is about the most important thing.
"Good Hotel for MAN airport"
For American standards the rooms are very very small. Then again, if you use this hotel for a night or two, the convenience and service do offset the room size drawback. The train station is only a couple of blocks away; through an "inside" walkway.

"Radisson - just a short walk to airport terminal"
This was the perfect place to stay for an early flight out of Manchester Airport.
"The Raddison Manchester Airport"
Not really a 4 star hotel. Rooms were clean although run down. The hotel is right between the Airport and Railway Station, within walking distance, which made it an ideal location for me.
"Radisson Blu at Manchester Airport"
Location at Terminal One made for easy access from arrival by rail and departure by air from Terminal Two which is only about a five minute indoor walk. All staff encountered were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable, nicely furnished and very quiet.
"Comfortable, convenient hotel"
Great hotel. Polite and very accomodating
"Not Quite What I Expected"
After reading great reviews, I booked this hotel for the night before our flight to the USA. It was certainly OK, but I felt it did not live up to the hype. In fact, we've stayed in the cheaper Marriot before, just off-site and we all felt this was just as good-in fact the buffet breakfast was better and slightly cheaper. On arrival in the States, […] we stayed in a similarly-starred airport hotel for one night and the difference was striking-both in terms of the size of the room and the overall quality, As for the breakfast-we paid $59 for 4 (inc tax) for a full buffet which was far superior than the Radisson's £17.95 each. Although I'd stay there again, I wouldn't be quite as quick to jump at the chance. Read more
"Location"
Stayed one night following at train journey from Glasgow. The fact that you can step off the train, check in and get to the terminal the next morning is the main advantage of this hotel. Didn't eat there mainly because meals seem expensive for what they are, there are far more value for money options available close by, This apart, the Radisson is […] hard to fault and does exactly what it's supposed to. Decent value for a decent standard. Read more
"Excellent Value"
We will definitely be staying here again. Made the whole process of getting away on an early flight practically painless - a quick walk to check-in, coffee in hand, brilliant.
"Promissed so much delivered so little"
Very unimpressed, The standard of service was very poor. The staff were lovely but just appeared to have no clue whatsoever as to what there job function was.Do not stay in their standard rooms.Scandanavian theme...... a few bits of the cheapest furniture from ikea 10 years ago and thats your lot. At breakfast they stood and argued that i haddn't booked […] breakfast in my room rate, and that i would have to pay again, the next 3 people all had the same problem. There was no one in charge to speak to. after about 5 mins the 4 of us in the que all agreed to pay for breakfast to at least allow us to have something to eat, on the basis that we would sort it out later. So it was duely signed for. After breakfast A fifteen minute debate at reception sorted the problem out.... there was a problem with their system and many of the guests names appeared on the breakfast list as not paid. The next morning i had exactly the same problem so rather than argue i said i would not have breakfast. On checkout they wanted to charge for the breakfast of the previous day on the basis that although it was included because they had a slip saying i had signed for it they would have to charge. But as i said earlier the staff are lovely so they can manage to do this still smiling and happy. I could go on for ever.... the evening meal the previous night would need a whole new chapter, however i'm sure anyone reading would get the picture. Read more
"Excellent stopover hotel with clean and modern facilities"
Stayed overnight so would be right on the doorstep for plane in the morning. Could not be nearer to T2 check in. Great staff, lovely room, clean, modern and stylish. Lovely room with great view of the runway. Restaurant nothing exciting but good, tasty food at a reasonable price.
"Excellent room in a prime location"
Excellent experience all-around in this hotel that is connected to the Manchester, UK airport by a walkway. Couldn't be more convenient, breakfast was excellent, room was immaculate and well-appointed, and the price was lower than what I expected for an in-the-airport hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
"Excellent hotel"
We used the hotel to make it easy to catch a morning flight out of Manchester Airport. It is ideal for this purpose. The room was comfortable, the service prompt and courteous. The restaurant was fine, if a bit pricey.
I was attending a football match in Manchester city centre and found the location of the radisson hotel very convenient to my destination as the train was beside the hotel.
"Convenient for early flight"
The hotel ticked all of the boxes for what I needed....somewhere comfortable & convenient to stay before an early check-in/flight the next day. Ate in the restaurant - excellent meal.
"Just Brilliant"
Perfect for shopping before holidays.
"Extremely convenient; very reasonable price"
There's not much to the surrounding neighourhood; it's an airport, after all. But the convenience of this hotel is terrific.
"Perfect place for flying from Manchester"

"Spot on."
Does just what was needed.Handy for early morning departure. No plane noise ,,Nice themed room.
"Hotel before flight"
The Hotel was very good, bit of a delay on check in but extra staff came on to clear the back log. The Room was perfect, the evening meal was a bit expensive, missed breakfast as did not open till 0630hrs and the checkin had opened them. Will use this hotel again as it is one way to get a very good nights sleep and the internet access was superb with […] high speed. Read more
"Great Airport Stay"
This hotel was a great choice for our early morning flight. It is conveniently located between terminals and the shuttle from long stay parking drops you right by the door. "Very enjoyable airport hotel"
The usual tension trying to navigate single-handed to one of many hotels in the vicinity of an airport, but once there, it was serene and well insulated from airfield noise. Very friendly and helpful staff made an extremely brief stay pleasant. Water in the room would have been a good touch. I particularly liked that the cosmetics containers were re-fillable […] and less wasteful. Will be happy to return there. Read more
"radisson blu manchester airport"
Extremely convenient hotel if you're flying from Manchester. Very clean & modern. Helpful friendly staff on reception. Ate at brasserie - food & staff were good but not outstanding. we had a runway room which pleased my son - stood and watched the planes for ages before bed!! No noise from runway at all.

"Radisson Blu MAN"
Convenient, convenient and even more convenient. Plus everything you would expect from a modern respected Hotel brand.
"Raddison Blu Manchester Airport"
Pleasantly surprised by this Hotel. Clean and really lovely large room with a great bathroom. Complimentary toiletries could have been better but not really important. Nothing to do outside the hotel but I wouldn't expect there to be at an airport! Very comfortable and relaxing and so convenient for the train station and the Terminal. Will definitely […] use again. "RADISSON BLUE MANCHESTER"
EXCELLENT HOTEL EXCEPT FOR RESTAURANT PRICES. THIRTEEN POUNDS FOR BASICLY SAUSAGE & MASH WAS A BIT STEEP WE THOUGHT!!
"Radisson Manchester Airport"
very handy hotel inside the Airport - you never have to go outside! It is a fair walk between terminals though so be aware of that and the Radisson chain is on the more expensive side but overall a good quality hotel.
"Pre-holiday stay"
We stayed at the Radisson Blu the night before an early flight. We had booked Thomsons and checked our luggage in at Terminal 2 the night before our flight and then had a short walk to the hotel. The rooms were great. We had breakfast the next morning which was amazing. Overall it was a brillian start to our holiday and we would definately recommend […] it. Read more
