The other reviews are pretty on point as to what to expect at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good and changes every morning. Upon arrival, the front dest clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. We found our rooms to be in great condition, very clean and comfortable. The pool was nice although it was too cold to swim. The breakfast was nice and there was plenty of options. Hotel was near Six Flags, the Rangers Ballpark and Cowboys Stadium just off the interstate. The hotel is only a couple of miles to Six Flags, Rangers Ballpark and Cowboys Stadium, and is easy to get to from DFW airport. This would Be a great hotel if the bathrooms were a bit larger. The water from the shower was going out onto the floor as i took a shower. Has to put a towel down to soakthe water up. Picked this location due to its proximity to the Rangers ballpark. Very easy to get from the hotel to the park and back -- plus, quick access to the highway. Our room was very comfortable and as always at the Hyatt Place, we love how much space we get. The room was great! had a king size bed that you just fell into. and a sectional couch that pulled out into a sleeper bed, so could share if you were in a group. Tried to switch hotels but couldn't because of their cancellation policy. Customer service ok. our first time with Hyatt Place. We were very pleased, they accommodated all 6 of us when most places were saying we had too many kids to have one room. The pool was clean, the room was clean, the place just smelled clean and the beds were comfy. Would only have requested a microwave be in the room or more than 3 small drawers to put our clothes. (My […] kids love to move in during hotel stays and they were disappointed that there weren't more drawers), and maybe 2 trash cans would have been better than just one provided in the room, but overall, we loved it, and even though my husband baulked at the upfront $45 charge to the credit card for the extra amenities we might use like the (grab-n-go food counter, starbucks, or bar), he quickly realized that that was a great thing to do since the kids and he himself didn't need cash on hand to pick up a coffee, candy bar, or "beer". Hotel had a shuttle service to and from the Rangers game. Bathroom was small with only a shower (no tub) but it was a great shower just not convenient for our toddler who does not take showers yet. Nice pool. Great breakfast! We like to stay at Hyatt Place because our family of 5 fits comfortably. Will absolutely stay again.

Great hotel (family of 6). Very popular with those going to local amusement parks and ball parks. Always lots of staff available to help. Lobby/breakfast area is a bit cramped during breakfast hours, but it was workable.

Carpet was heavily stained and bathroom was dirty. We complained and were moved to another room. Carpet still stained. Air conditioner did not keep the room cool. We had to turn off all the lights to keep the room as cool as possible. We talked to management and were told that our room was hot due to us being on the top floor and it was hot during the […] day.
