The location was fine but the room quite small. The location of the rooms to the lobby was strange. (different building) Place was clean and price was right however, I will look for another place when I return to Lyon.

Stay was comfortable and room clean and nice location. Staff was very helpful for what I needed which wasn't alot. -I walked everywhere and did not eat breakfast chose to go to the local boulangerie. If you rent a car think about storing it in a different location the garage is very tight and terrible turn to get out. Pull your mirrors in.

We were fine with the quality of hotel but it was kind of a pain to walk there from the train station. There aren't metro stops super close. The walk is doable if you want to save on cab fare but it's just not super easy with luggage.

For a night this hotel is well located, a moderate walk from both the train station and the nearest metro. Staff was helpful concerning questions about Lyon, where to eat, and the room. Parking was a maze of complicated phone calls to open various doors and take the lift which deposits you in another building. We were pleased with the Best Western Crequi. The room and bathroom were a good size, especially for European standards. The staff was helpful. Although this hotel was in Part Dieu and not in the middle of Lyon, it was easy to walk to the center and take the subway. This hotel was easy to find and met our needs perfectly as we had to drop our rental car at the train station and were taking the train to our next destination the following day. The staff were friendly and spoke English and the accommodation was clean and comfortable and it was an easy walk to the train station.

The Best Western Crequi hotel was quite an enjoyable stay. It's just a block north of the T1 tram and just 2 blocks north of the Metro, which takes you to the old town, roman ruins, etc. The place was clean and I'd be happy to go there again.

The air-conditioning was not working, and all we were only offered bottles of water for compensation. The second night, they were out of bottles. Our thermometer did not read below 91 degrees F the entire time we were there. It was a miserable experience.

The hotel its self is in a really good location, walking distance to all the shops and main 'going out' areas. although without making a walk there is not much near it.... with exception of the les halles food market which is fantastic and just 2mins down the road from the hotel. We could not understand why the in house cafe would be closed on the weekend?! […] We were therefore given the only option of purchasing the (80s style) buffet breakfast for 15€ . This hotel needs a facelift! The room - apart from being tiny - was dowdy and dull. The airconditioning didn't work and it was 28 degrees. We had to sleep with the window open and suffer the traffic noise because the room was so hot due to no a/c. The curtains were dirty and unhooked in places. The fridge didn't work. The dining room smelled of stale […] cooking. The parking situation was a joke, we had to park around the back street and the bay was ridiculously small. Does exactly what it needed. The surrounding neighbourhood is very quiet at evenings/weekends, but the city centre is a short walk across the river and there are some nice bars and cafes on the river bank. Rooms aren't brilliantly sound-proofed - lots of front doors coming off a small corridor, but it didn't cause too much trouble.

Nice bed, clean room, sufficient space for 2 person. Good service, friendly staff. Bathroom is ok although no complimentary haircomb nor cleaning kit. Breakfast was not included in the rate, which I prefer, but the price was outrageous anyway (15 EUR / pax !), so we never tried it (restaurants' are cheaper and better) Only "major" setback: except […] CNN and BBC, no english-speaking TV channels at all (nor spanish, nor italian), just french channels. And no "dual mode" option to listen to the series / movies' in the original language. No subtitles either. Booked this at short notice and was happy with the rate (Breakfast was extra). Location was good, half way between the Train Station (beside the large shopping centre) and the main city centre. The reception staff were great and the underground parking was good. Room was OK but the breakfast was very poor. Staff unhelpful, not much left to eat and pastries what was left were awful, not what you expect in France. We would probably have been better off the other side of the river and walked there for our evening meal.

Mauvaise insonorisation : une nuit j'ai été réveillée par de forts bruits de déménagement...de meubles !!!! De plus, j'ai eu un mal fou à sortir ma voiture du parking...30 min environ !!! peu de place pour manoeuvrer quand on a une grosse berline ! Il a fallu que j'appelle à l'aide !!!
