Old, nasty hotel located in a commercial section of a city OUTSIDE Barcelona. This place was a joke. It may have been a nice business hotel ten years ago. The rooms are shabby, with paint peeling and rippled floors. Broken bed. We went to the pool on a hot day. it was surrounded by faded, thread bare green astroturf. I noted a leak in the ceiling of […] the bar and asked one of the staffers where it was coming from. She shrugged and said she did not know (or obviously care.) There is a run down, but large, gym in the basement. It is a 45 minute drive to the city and there is no easy public transportation. This is in a suburb of Barcelona, I picked it because it was a cheap 4 star hotel. It is a very nice hotel, I had no complaints about the room or the service. The surrounding area is a nice little town to walk around, I enjoyed it a lot.

Very nice hotel! Good price. Was 23 minutes drive from central Barc, but that´s fine. Last time I stayed in the middle of Barc took over 30 mins to find a parking place. Staff were very friendly, and helped giving me a map of centre. Would def stay here next time.

We stayed here recently under the impression from hotels.com that it is easy access to Barcelona and barcelona airport it is not. The information given when booking is incorrect the airport is not 13 miles away but 30!! And the nearest train station is not barbera de valles! The cleanliness of the room was great however there where a few maintenance […] issues. The lamp was broken by the bed, there was many holes in the black out curtain and te other window had no curtain which meant we were woken early each morning by the sun. And the staff service was very good and very helpfully especially as all the staff speak very good English. The surrounding town Is very quiet and nothing much around... You could hear everything from the room next door. Walls are paper thin. There was a foul smell upon entering the room. The laminate flooring was separating. The beds (supposed) to be double were singles and were cheap and uncomfortable. I only stayed one night but I could not recommend this hotel. This is certainly not a 4 star hotel.

I chose this hotel because it had parking and was on the outskirts of Barcelona, which would save me driving through the traffic and paying silly parking charges. The rooms were clean, but a little tired. However, for the money I was more than happy and the staff were extremely helpful. The Cerdonyola area was very quiet and had some nice local bars […] and small restaurants - I didn't feel threatened in any way when walking to the Metro station at all hours of the day. The walk to the Metro station is around 25mins although there is a bus that runs every 20mins (not that I ever found a schedule or saw the bus actually stop near the hotel). From the Cerdanyola station it's about a 30 minute Metro ride to the centre of Barcelona (La Rambla area). Buy a T10 ticket for the best deal. The last train back from the city is just before midnight, but there are 2 night buses that leave from Catalunya Plaza - the N62 and N64 - that will get you back to the Cerdanyola Metro station. They start at 1am and leave every hour on the hour - your metro ticket can be used. I hope that helps and enjoy! Read more

For the money its not a bad deal. The location needs a car to get about and the staff could be a lot more proactive in explaining the best way into Barcelona and main highways. The gym was disgusting and whilst the staff say the floors are cleaned..what gym for health and safety reasons doesn't insist on the equipment being clean?? Most of the equipment […] was broken or needing maintenance which pretty much applies to the whole hotel, it ineeds basic upgrading and repairs. The staff put us in a substandard room with an AC unit that leaked all over the floor. The second room was a different class, so dont be afraid to ask to see the room first, as they seem to have lots of available rooms. The pool is not available until May. Read more

Hotel is fine but is quite a walk from the station. Parking was difficult on Friday as the market was on. I think I will stay closer to the Barcelona centre next time. Hotel located well for onward travel as easy access to motorway.

Ive stayed at this property 4 times so far, and yes, I am addicted to it! I rent a car whenever I travel worldwide so this place meets all my expections, including no shortage of free parking space....and more . (Why on earth wouldnt someone rent a car when on vacation or business baffles me, especially in Barcelona!) The amenities in this family friendly […] property meets all my expectations....esp the comfort this "home away from home" offers me, yet in a true 4 star property. The front desk staff, Maria and Emily, are institutions by themselves. Sometimes it is embarrassing to ask for anything from them as they already KNOW exactly what any guest would need. I have watched their interaction with others very intuitively - how they carry themselves and how they uphold the chararteristics of their professionalism and personal qualities-- very cool, very natural. I just hope they stay on, but in this capitalistic society, who knows what the temptations are. It would be unfair not to mention the fine lady in the kitchen during the evening around 9:30pm who brought to my room hot water (with salt) for my son who had a sore throat and needed to gargle. They are an asset to any public contact enterprise. (This hotel was full last time I was there; I hope I am lucky again to get a reservation the next time.) A huge THANKS Eurostars Parc Del Valles. L'hôtel est assez loin de Barcelone. Prévoir un taxi ou une voiture de location car la gare RER est assez loin de l'hôtel (20mins à pied). Un peu plus de 20 mins pour aller à la place Catalunya depuis la gare RER. Très bien si on cherche la tranquillité car retiré de la ville et à l'écart. Hotel precisa urgentemente de manutenção : carpete dos corredores suja, casa de banho com vazamento, manchas de derrame de água no tecto do quarto, exteriores com sinais de abandono. Pena para um hotel de 4* ! Qualidade da cama, lençois e limpeza no quarto impecáveis !

Et noe godt brukt hotell med klare tegn på en større rehabilitering er på plass . Idielt for dem på biltur , alt for langt fra Barcelona om man kommer med fly . Busser og tog stopper for tidlig på kvelden . Siste avganger er kl.23 oo . Hyggelig personale .

Une location de voiture est indispensable pour séjourné dans cette hôtel. La qualité de cette hôtel ne mérite en rien un 4 étoiles mais plutôt un 3 moins. Attention au futur voyageur, prévoyez de déjeuner ou dîner avant de venir... le restaurant n'est ouvert qu'à des heures très précises. sinon dans l'ensemble, nous avons bien été reçu par l’accueil […] qui ont été chaleureux et gentil. Fint hotel med pool, lidt slidt måske men god service, rent lækkert værelse. Det bedste var dog beliggenheden i Cerdanyola for os, der helst undgår turist cirkusset. Nemt at komme ind til Barca, bare 25 mins gang, hvor du følger vejen ude foran hotellet, toget fra stationen tager dig til Arc de Triomf (lufthavnsbusser) eller Catalunya pladsen. Der ligger […] en lille nationalpark med skov og bakker til klatring også umiddelbart ved siden af hotellet. Vi havde 10 skønne dage på hotellet, og kan varmt anbefale det til andre, der tar på ferie for ro og afslapning. Read more
