DOMAINE DE BEAUVOIS - Indre-et-Loire

We had the most incredible time. The staff was beyond helpful and so generous. When we drove up to the chateau our breath was taken away. It felt like we were in a fairy tale. The fact that we were able to stay here and then tour the nearby castles was amazing. They are very close to must see chateaus and castles. You do need a car. 5stars!

This was a nice hotel, right at the train station, which gave us access to CDG by TGV for our trip home. It was also easy to get into downtown Tours to see the sights of this nice city.

Rooms are compact and appeared to be redecorated compared to previous internet photos. Baths were updated with new fixtures. Location was quiet. Close to good dining and Rail Station. Short walk to old town. Front desk was helpful making taxi reservations and storing luggage after checkout. Elevator. Breakfast was a cold buffet: cereal, hard boiled eggs, meats, fruit, bread, and yogart.

Very enjoyable stay in the Loire Valley. We were looking for something out of the main tourist stream and quiet. We found all this and more at a great price. Great service for a late night check in and it got better. They prepared a late breakfast for us as well. It was a pleasure to taste country living and hospitality at its best.

I really enjoyed my stay. I was travelling by myself on my way to a friend's wedding in Montzeban and stayed here the night prior. The staff was VERY friendly and the phone was amazing and reasonably priced. It's a bit out of the way, but that is what I liked about it. Compared to the stress of the wedding and my later stay in Paris (for a smaller, dirtier room at twice the price), this place was a nice little get away.
