Upon leaving and asking for directions....the lady on duty went above and beyond her job duties. She took the time, to write down directions and then provided a phone number as well, in case we got lost. GREAT customer service. I will be back just because of her and her dedication to her job.

This hotel should NOT be recommended by Hotels.com. Compared to all of the hotels we used thru Hotels.com during Jan thru Feb. 21, 2012 this was truely unacceptable...at any price. I wouldn't stay for free! Bed not made ( bottom fitted sheet), hanging smoke/fire detector, bathtub dirty looking.No coffee available in breakfast area. Stated "we are waiting […] for a new coffee maker"., vending machines were empty and soda dispenser was out of order. On top of that my husband was unable to get out of the public restroom! Only 2 towels for 4 guests in room. Asked for more and they still did not bring enough. No coffee made in the morning and no spoons to eat the cereal which was about all they had for the limited breakfast. When enquiring about breakfast, employee was asleep in the back room. Room was smelly and unclean. Do Not Stay at this hotel.

Carpet so bad that I kept on my socks at night, something I never do. Remote did not work, one overhead light did not work. Smell. Breakfast next door is my recomendation. Only positive was the young lady at check-in. Very efficient and helpful.

The most convenient part of the hotel is the fact that it is close to interstate/dining/entertainment. Other than that, you hear cars driving all night. The breakfast is slim selection of muffins, bagels, cereal...that's it. Oh, and maybe some fruit. They have a popcorn machine in the lobby, but it never made popcorn for guests (what's the point?) The […] room is OK, looks new but the carpet is grimey. The bed is stiff, and not very comfortable. Walls are thin, and you can here all activities happening in other rooms. Worst experience in 50 years of stays in hotels or motels!!!! The sheets were not changed from the previous guest(s)!!!!!! I found a wadded up tissue between the sheets in the morning, after I woke up!!!!! I will refuse this charge on my credit card and I expect an apology from Microtel management.

The owners evidently bought this hotel & decided not to renovate to save money because the room was severely in need of gutting completely. Every material surface was water stained, curtains, carpet, seating, even pillows. Missing light bulbs, bathroom door wouldn't close, all surfaces dusty or grimey from powder cleanser, water faucet oversprayed the […] sink, carpet felt sticky and stiff and the room stunk of mold or mildew. Called the front desk to ask for towels & soap since there were none in the room on the first night & had to go to the front desk & get them. Key cards worked 3 out of 7 days. Housekeeping 'forgot' to provide items daily, handtowels, washcloths, soap. I had coffee 2 out of 7 days and coffee cups, 1 out of 7 days. If the front desk staff had not been so nice and the week had not been pre-paid and non-refundable, I would have left. The place needs to be completely gutted. Read more

If you are okay with spending the night in a tiny room then it's fine. We barely found room to setup a playpen for my son to sleep in, but the room was fine other than that. There is NOT a fridge in the room or a microwave just FYI.

The room itself was nice enough, but we were given a handicapped room with a handicapped bathroom. So, the bathroom had a huge shower with no raised edge to keep the water in, which I suppose was suitable for a wheelchair, but the entire bathroom floor got wet when we took a shower. We had to dry the floor with towels after we were done.

This was a quick stay, one night and gone. VERY tiny room, had a hole in the wall and needed to be cleaned a bit more (dust, etc, nothing major) - but was fine for the price as you get what you pay for - the front office desk people were good.

This room was perfect for the stay I required. I was visiting my sister who does not have a spare room. I was traveling with my two small children, ages 3 and 6. For us, this room was great. We all slept in the Queen size bed that was very, very, comfortable. They do not offer the standard polyester bedding like most hotels, they had a quilted cotton […] comforter that was much more comfortable. The TV is elevated close to the ceiling which was great for everyone to view. The bathroom was huge with plenty of room for everyone to get ready at the same time. I have traveled a great deal in my time, including overseas and this hotel was one of the better ones I have stayed in. But, that being said, if my husband had come with us, he would not have enjoyed it as much. He is a large fellow that would have felt cramped. Honestly, the only complaint I would have is the hotel did not enforce any parking rules to the guests friends that came to visit. Because of this, I did not have a parking space to park when I came in late one evening. I parked next door at the Stride Rite store. (Again, I had two small children with me) I had to carry the kids in from the parking "next door" and the next morning I got the call I had to move my car. I know this was not the hotels fault but it could have been prevented had there been rules in place for visiting guests - those not paying to stay the night. Read more

At check-in the clerk couldn't find my reservation. When we got to our room we weren't able to access the internet on our laptop so we called front desk. The clerk kept cutting me off and wouldn't allow me to finish my statement and insisted we should be able to access internet. Later we called down to front desk to ask for toilet tissue and kleenex. […] The clerk said we would have to come down to get it ourself b/c she was by herself - we were in our pajamas. internet can not use, and no one solve it, no heat in room, very cold, the bed just comes with sheet, with no blanket, you have to request then they will give you one. I stayed 2 days, 48 hrs, only 8 hrs they have internet, I called 4 times to solve this, they said they can do nothing. Feel very sad about this staying, never choose it again.

First off there was no toilet paper in bathroom, called front office and asked for some..reply was will be right there with some. We left the hotel and came back 6-7 hours later and still no Toilet paper. Husband went down to the front desk and the attendent had to go t o another room to get some...said they were short on tolet tissue. Had to go back to the office to get some....The bathtub needed cleaning round the bottom on the outside. Found one DIRTY wash cloth on the bathroom floor when we first went in to the room. No coffee packets after the 1st day. The food cafe needed work also. The window above the wafflle maker hadn't been cleaned for some time....No napkins in the cafe either. The Young Lady at the check in desk was a delight...she even remembered us from prior stays. We complained a LITTLE but no one offered us any compensation. Check-in was fine & the hotel staff was nice, but the quality of the hotel room was horrible! There was a hole in the bathroom door, the room smelled terrible, the chain lock on the door looked like it had been involved in a serious fight, there were stains all over every surface, the upholstery was torn on the window seat, the air conditioner/heater […] didn't work, there were pieces of dry DOG FOOD in the grate on the front of the air conditioner/heater, and the room was so tiny it was difficult to move around!! Friendly, helpful staff in a good location. However, small things hurt it. Had to ask for bath towels. Common hallways needed vacuuming. Elevator did not function for a while. I think if management would put some money into the place, it would be a much better experience.
