Can't beat the location, It's very near the Giralda and Alcazar yet the immediate area is not too terribly touristy. Like many hotels in the narrow winding streets of the old center, the taxi could not drive right up to the door, so we had to carry our bags a bit, and there does not appear to be a luggage cart or a porter. Also within the hotel there […] are multiple little steps between the lobby and getting to the door of the guest room. Although we reserved a room with a king sized bed, we were shown a room with a typical Spanish smaller than U.S. queen sized bed and told, "this is a king sized bed in Spain." Luckily they were able to offer us a room with two beds together, which was comfortable enough. The carpeting in both rooms was really shabby, and both have windows which open to tiny air shafts, basically. We were told that the other rooms are kind of noisy, so we preferred no view and not much fresh air to noisy as we really needed sleep. Very limited electrical outlets - there was only one in the room we were able to unplug a lamp and plug in our laptops. Make sure to take along an extension cord if you have anything to plug in. The young lady who checked us in was not very helpful, but Carmela who was at the front desk later was super helpful and friendly. Read more

Great location, within walking distance to the cathedral, the Real Alcazar, & other main attractions. It is just around the corner from Plaza de San Francisco & Sierpes Street where you can find great bars, , stores, cafes and a beautiful church. Contrary to other reviews I read, there IS wireless in the rooms and it DID work. The walls were very thin and unfortunately it was very easy to hear other people's conversations from my room so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The staff were very young and friendly but seemed a little disinterested in current events & entertainment in Seville. I was hoping they would have been able to tell me some inside tips but I ended up finding more interesting information on the internet. Read more

Good location. Very clean; however, the desk personnel is very rude. Booked a king size bed. When we arrived at 1:40 PM (check-in at 2 PM) they told us that the our room is not ready, yet. We came back at 4 PM to check in. We were told that the hotel does not have king size bed, they only have queen size bed and that we have no other choice. I asked […] the desk personnel to give us a 2 twin beds, she made us wait another 20 min. and finally gave us a room facing the court yard with no windows!! I requested another room if available thinking that the location of the room will be too noisy. She refused. Indeed, the room was very noisy. On Saturday night, people came back drunk from the bars and they were very very loud and noisy, sitting in the court yard laughing and talking. I would not recommend this hotel. Read more

For some reason, we were moved to the sister hotel of Mercaderes, the Casa de la Juderia, so this review is really for that hotel. This place is unquestionably one of a kind. It is right in the center of the Barrio Santa Cruz and perfect for seeing that area. Bring a god map because the neighborhood is a real labyrinth. Also a warning - we arrived […] by car late at night on a Thursday, the streets are extremely narrow and windy and filled with people (we visited in June). Get directions in advance to the parking lot instead of going to the hotel, since you will hardly be able to stop to unload if there is traffic behind you. Do not rely on Google or iphone maps to get you here, we ran in circles for over an hour before we were able to find it. Those apps are amazing but they don't know these streets! Once we arrived, we were led by a porter through the hotel to our room. This was quite a journey, though several interconnected houses, past underground grottoes and openair gardens. The layout is daunting, and you will often encounter other guests wandering about as lost as you are, but the staff is helpful in steering you right, and after a few tries you start to get the hang of it. The Juderia really makes you feel like you are staying amid history, while not feeling overstuffed or mothballed like other historic hotels I've visited. We had an inexpensive room but I imagine the larger rooms are quite opulent. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel to a friend, it creates stories you will never forget. Read more

The hotel is in a great location once there. But is quite a walk from the bus/train station. The hotel is nice except for the atrium. Don't be fooled by the pictures, it is anything but romantic. If you are unlucky like we were to get a room facing the 3 story atrium, you will need ear plugs to block out the aplified echos of people chatting and kids […] screaming. There won't be any natural light or ventilation either. The only good thing about this room is that the "free wi-fi" is only in the lobby/attrium area, but we managed to get reception by opening our room window, but had to close it whenever the attrium got too noisy. Otherwise, the room was clean and nice (except for the poor design of the shower which left the bathroom floor soaked) and the staff were nice and helpful. Read more

We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely this hotel was. The staff was helpful and accommodating, even with our limited Spanish. This was a great find in a good location in walking distance of the Cathedral and major attractions, as well as dining.

This hotel is in a good location. The rooms are your typically European style small and sparse but you shouldn't be spending time in the room but exploring the area. Hotel was an excellent choice, rooms are a little small but comfortable. Walk distance to all attractions in Seville. If you are driving a car is a little hard to get to the hotel as the down town is closed to regular vehicles. If driving parking is an additional 21 EUR a day.

My wife, teenage son, and I enjoyed our stay. The room had comfortable beds and a foldout for our son. It was very clean and convenient to the major monuments. I would stay here again. One note, the in-hotel breakfast was surprisingly expensive, but good.

Very good value for the money and right in the heart of barrio Santa Cruz in Seville. Accurately depicted as about 300m from the Cathedral and 375m from Alcazar Real not to mention dozens of great restaurants, shops, and other tourist spots within 2-15 minute walk. We used this as home base and went to the Plaza de Espana, Triana, the bull ring etc... […] in addition to the Cathedral and palace. Clean rooms with great working a/c, roomy stand up shower with excellent water pressure and really nice multi-lingual front desk staff helped round out the experience. I will alternate staying here with one other (but significantly pricier) place in the same neighborhood depending on my guest's pocketbook. I was very comfortable here. Only downsides were no direct computer access unless you brought your own (WiFi in the cute central patio area) and challenging to find even w/ my GPS and Europe maps that were "current." I paid a taxi driver to lead me there after trying for about 30 min to maneuver the many one way and super narrow streets. Once there check-in, valet parking for the car and sight seeing were a breeze. Read more

This hotel stay was very nice. The hotel is clean and the rooms are very spacious. The bathrooms are very large too. What is most convenient about this place is its location to the major attractions and though the service of the employees is not the friendliest, they are very knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel has a great location and good parking. Personnel was helpful. But the rooms were dark since they had only a tiny window, giving out to basically an outdoor ventilation channel. So no real daylight. Carpets in rooms and corridors are worn. A brass list tying down the carpet at the staircase was loose and sticking up. Noticed when it cut in […] the shoe ( luckily not wearing sandals or toes would have been cut). Reporterd it to front desk, they checked immediately, but no action. We could see it had been taped down before. We put the umbrella stand on top of it, so no one else would get hurt. The umbrella stand stood there at least till we checked out 3 days later. It would have been nice to have at least one English speaking channel on tv for some news and weather. Sevilla is a great city. Read more

The location of this Hotel is really great, its a stones throw from all major attractions. Our room was very small, almost cramped, but had the advantage at been at the rear of the Hotel. ヌエバ広場からすぐでカテドラルやアルカサルなど観光地にはどこも歩いていける好立地でホテルに入った雰囲気も非常に良いのですが、部屋の中がさみしい感じです。お風呂の水の出もすごく快適でもっと内装に工夫をすれば居心地がいいのに…と残念でした。部屋が広いのにドアを開けるとすぐに部屋、ベッドしかないという感じです。気にならない方は問題ないと思います。
