It was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but our room smelled like cigarette smoke immediately upon opening the door. Beds were comfortable and location was terrific.

The hotel is WONDERFUL. Each room is immaculate, with amenities such as sit-down showers and televisions in the bathroom mirrors. You also have access to room service with a full menu to order from. Overall, the hotel -- given that it is new -- is a sight to behold. Music, free breakfast treats, and a great gym. There is a lot to love. However, the service is lacking. It isn't awful, but it doesn't match up to the visual splendor of the hotel. If you're in town, check L'Auberge out.

Extremely nice hotel, though next to the interstate, i just slept with my fan on and never heard it. Beautiful, clean, and wonderfully staffed.

Desk clerk screwed up my reservations & placed me in a smoking room rather than the actual room I reserved which was a non smoking suite so it took about 30mins to get everything corrected. I was sorely disappointed by our stay at this hotel. When we arrived, we were told we had reserved a smoking room. I checked the confirmation I received from Hotels.com and it clearly stated that we had reserved a non-smoking room. I have stayed at this hotel before and I was really pleased with the service and the staff is always nice and welcoming. I must say though, my room this particular time was not as clean as the other rooms I had stayed in. I think they could use some remodeling on the first floor. As far as the hotel, when we arrived after a 12 hr. drive, the reservation for the room was not accurate, plus one of the two rooms had a horrible smoke odor but was a "non-smoking" room. I was delayed and knew I would be arriving late so I called the reservations line and told them that I wouldn't be in until after 8PM. They said that was fine and my room would be ready. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the front desk, and my reservation was in order. In a very timely manner, I received my key and checked into my room. The room […] was clean, smelled nice and have everything I expected. The only nitpick is they do not provide shampoo/conditioner/mouthwash. I did not check to see if they provided them upon request as I brought all my own toiletries. The bed was comfortable, the TV more than adequate, I did not use a computer so I cannot speak to their internet access. The only minor complaint I had was noise. Whenever someone upstairs (I was on the second floor) flushed their toilet, I could hear it in the pipes. Also, I could also hear either doors slamming or possibly knocking pipes from time to time. The breakfast was adequate but sparse (no eggs/meats). All the wait staff I interacted with were cordial and friendly. I travel to BR to visit my aging father, and I will stay there again.
