I've stayed in at least a dozen Country Inns, but this one does not come close to the others....Needs some touchup painting..and breakfast bar was not too appetizing. Overpriced because it's very near Opryland.

The people were Southern warm and friendly. The rooms were bigger than expected. Clean, comfortable, and morning breakfast included. I made waffles every morning. Warm complementary baked cookies available throughout the day. Used the Hyatt shuttle next door to get downtown and to the airport. Saved $ 60 in transportation costs for the 3 days!!

I loved that it was so close to the Opry Mills mall as well as other shopping centers and restaurants that we visited. However, the "crib" provided for our infant son was in need of a harsh cleaning. The pad of the bed had stains on it and there was a slight odor to it. Also, the carpets needed a good shampooing. My son crawled on the floor and then I had to wash him every time we left the room because his knees and feet were black from the dirty floor. We didn't pay that much for the room and otherwise, it was a fine room and great location.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn and Suites near Opryland. It was clean, the sheets soft and comfortable, the bathroom sparkling clean. We enjoyed the pool too on a hot summer afternoon. I attended a conference at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, and it was a pleasant 15 minute walk from the Country Inn to the Gaylord. Also, the staff was very friendly, and fresh cookies were on the counter every day! (free)

Myself and 3 other girls stayed here while at a convention at opryland hotel. It was much cheaper to split this room and the deal we got was great from hotels.com. One of the housekeepers accidentally took my pillowcase off and put it in the laundry. When I notified the staff, they looked all night for it and made sure I had it back before I left. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was better than expected. Nice large rooms with a comfortable feeling of home.

We were just passing through Nashville for the night on our way home from a house hunting trip. The hotel lobby was very inviting and the clerk most helpful. Depending on what you want to see while in Nashville, I would say it is a convenient location. Very close to Opryland and about 15 minutes from downtown. The only complaint I had was the bed (queen). It felt comfortable when my wife and I went to sleep but both of us woke up with backaches the next morning.

We were at this hotel for 3 nights in April '08. First, it is very convenient to everything in the Opryland area, and there are many GREAT restaurants within seconds of the hotel. It is also very near the airport and just a few minutes from downtown. The staff was super friendly and helpful at check-in, check-out and anytime we had a question about the area. We stopped by the desk several times -- but it could have been because of the fresh baked cookies that are always there. Yummy! The room was OK. The ceilings are very high in the rooms which gives the feeling of space. The furniture was alright, nothing special. Don't wear white socks on the carpet then look at the bottom of your socks. You'll be appalled at how dirty the carpet is. The rooms don't seem to be too soundproof either, as we could hear the next door neighbors having normal conversation. We were in a first floor room and you will not sleep late if housekeeping is cleaning the room above you. The sweeper sounded like it was next to the bed in our room! Its not like we could faintly hear it, it was full-on loud. Our do-not-disturb sign was "violated" one day. We didn't want to put the computer away and pick up the cosmetics in the bathroom, so we left the d-n-d sign out when we went out for the day. When we returned our room had been serviced anyway. Everything was alright, but still....

I really don't like staying in hotels. The beds usually suck, you can hear doors shutting all over the building and some jerk has his TV way over volume aor talking loudly to buddies into the wee hours of the morning. NOT at this hotel, it was great! I slept good, the room was clean and there wasn't alot of noise and the staff was very helpful. I never saw the cleaning crew or heard them getting an Early start on the days work. But my bed was always made and had fresh towels by noon that day. I had a three night stay for business for a few extra bucks it was worth it.
