The hotel's own website seems to understate its excellent location, as it has an opening into the main street of Sorrento just a short walk from the main square. It is within walking distance of the scenic old mill, the train station, the marina (with its outstanding seafood restaurants) and its stunning views of the bay of Naples and the hillside villas and hotels of Sorrento. The staff was very accommodating to our special needs, allowing us to leave our luggage and to use its restroom facilities even after we had checked out. Also, the price of the rooms was reasonable. Our party did not take the advice of the female night clerk who recommended that we eat at the restaurant next door; instead, we ate at Ristorante Delfino at the marina (which I also highly recommend).

Very happy with Hotel Sorrento City. Staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Room was very comfortable with the only drawback being the TV in the room had only one Engligh speaking channel (MTV...ugh). Excellent location and easy to find right on the main street near the train station. Very good breakfast and free Wi-Fi included which worked very well in the room. Highly recommend Hotel Sorrento City.

We were going back to Charlotte NC. From the moment tbat we steped into the lobby area, We were greeted, taken care of. The hotel management to the person that carried our baggage to our room I felt that I was coming back to friends. I will stay at this hotel when ever I am in Naples. It was an outstanding short stay. What a palace.

Hotel La Residenza has an outdoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. Everything about this Hotel was AMAZING!! The view was to die for and the staff was great. Most of them spoke English.

The location of the hotel is great and it seems to be well managed and maintained. It's a very beautiful hotel and we got very professional and friendly service there. I can recommend it with pleasure to others and will also use its services myself again in the future.

La Residenza is in a perfect location in Capri, surrounded by tremendous shops and restaurants ,try Restaurant Villa Verde when you're there. The view is unbelieveable, the proerty is well maintained and the rooms are nice, clean, spacious. I have read some reviews with concerns about the rooms, but I think some people don't understand the charm and […] atmosphere of a place like Capri and expect cookie cutter rooms. Believe me you will not be disappointed. If there was any down side at all, it was that the walls are thin and you can hear more than usual, not at all an issue for us though. Onestamente mi aspettavo qualcosina in più! Se siete amanti della tranquillità questo hotel è il posto ideale. Forse 4 stelle sono troppe, ma 3 sono poche. La verità nel mezzo! Le camere standard deludono: piccole e con strutture poco curate. Non lo sconsiglio, ma c'è di meglio.
