Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Rooms and bathroom are very tiny but clean. Beds are too hard. Breakfast is good but the same everyday. WiFi is only available in first floor and in the room with a cable. Street traffic is very loud and closing the windows is not enough. A/C must be on to help reduce street noise.

The hotel is in an upscale area -- embassies and elegant shopping nearby as well as lots of restaurants (upscale as well as simpler ones). The metro station is less than 100 meters away. It is very close to Avenida da Liberdade, which has a very pretty tree-lined plaza running down its length for several blocks, where you can sit outside and have a […] drink or coffee. The hotel was not luxurious but was modern, clean, had good Internet service (only wired in the rooms, not Wi-Fi)., and the bathroom and shower were clean, modern, and worked well. The room was very well lit, which made it good for working. The staff are pleasant, very helpful, and speak fluent English. The breakfasts had a good food selection (which was the same every day). The breakfast area is also open in the evenings for self-serve soup, soft drinks, beer, or liquor. It's on an honor system -- you fill out a form saying what you had and hand it in at the front desk. I would definitely stay at the Dom Carlos Liberty again. It was a tremendous step up from the last hotel I stayed in in Lisbon, which if it had one more star would have then qualified as a dump. If you want a nice hotel, good staff, good price and great location, this is a good choice. The price was great, with free and reliable internet in the rooms, and the free breakfast was great. Two steps from Avenida Liberdade this modern hotel has a friendly staff, good breakfast and bar service, and nice, clean rooms, although on the small side. The staff were exceptional and we received a very warm welcome. We were given really helpful and useful information about places to visit and eat. The bathroom was spotless, bright and really big. The […] location is one of the best things about this hotel as it's a 5-10 minute stroll to the central square and to Rossio train station where you can easily get to Sintra. There is a great Chinese restaurant as you come out of the hotel and turn right. It's not much to look at from the outside but the food was amazing and fresh. Very quick service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it's in a beautiful area of the city and you can walk to anywhere. The fitness centre is great and although it's small, it has everything you need for a good workout. Relatively new and modern hotel near the city centre. Well appointed rooms although on a smaller size. The rooms get bigger as you move to higher floors however you loose the WiFi which is available at the reception and some lower floors.

qarto bem pequeno como o próprio hotel já informava, nenhuma surpresa. O banheiro era extremamente pequeno, mas por poucos dias nada desesperador. Café da manhã muito bom, cordialidade dos funcionários, quartos bem agradáveis (apesar do tamanho) e limpos. Recomendo para um estadia curto como a nossa, de 3 dias.

Das Zimmer war mit seinen angegebenen 10 qm gefühlt noch kleiner. Gegenüber dem Fenster war eine Baustelle an der auch am Ostermontag gearbeitet wurde. Das Badezimmer war nicht sauber (die obligatorischen Ecken) und winzig. Zwei Personen konnten kaum aninander vorbei.Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Vi var to par på en lille uges ophold i Lissabon. Hotellet med sin venlige atmosfære betød for os et glimrende udgangspunkt til at gå på opdagelse i byen. Var vi for dovne til at gå, så kunne vi tage Metroen, men helst slentrede vi ad den dejlige boulevard "Avenida da Liberdade" ned mod centrum.
