Sol antillas Barbados constitute of two hotels: sol antillas and sol Barbados. We stayed at sol Barbados. This is more far from the sea than sol antillas. But it has advantage: sun shines longer than on territory of antillas. Rooms are clean but not broad enough. Sound insulation is not well enough but we were rather lucky our neighbors were quite. […] But it can be a problem if your neighbors are with small child. The hotel itself is ok. Pool areas are very nice and so is the beach. The rooms are fine. Pillows were very thin and the soap was 'liquid' - no soap bars. The walls are very thin and we could hear the children next to us as though they were in the room. Not bad if you don't want to sleep in. Although we did have some late nighters wake us during the […] early morning hours one night/day. The gym is terrible. OLD equipment, no AC, no towels, and no TV. Don't go there if you want to use a gym. Overall as a place to sleep and get a shower, it's fine. If you want to relax and spend time in the room, choose another hotel. Read more

Good location at the edge of the strip, so you can keep away from all the noise and people. Rooms were practical and tidy and mostly basic. Have visited the Antillas many times over the years, staff are always very helpful and the food is good. Entertainment every night from professional entertainers,, some evenings a bit boring, but a very pleasant break. Currently a lot of noise by pool due to refurbishment of adjacent hotel.

You never get a second chance to make an first impression ! Why? Why does not the front desk reflect the nice surroundings of this hotel, why is our first impression totally distroyed by a black haired, somewhat elderly woman with no sense of service..? One other elderly man was at all not interested in incoming customers, who had to wait politely for […] their attention..:-( We notice that the hotel was undergoing an massive refurnishing, but if not staff is refurnished as well, it will not work. Our breakfast-hoast (elderly man) was an firework of positivity, but rest of staff acted like we have taken their last food..Where are the smiles? Nice view over the Magaluf harbour, in the quiet part of beach :-) But honestly, considering myself as an experienced traveller with app. 120 days at hotel a year, this was my worst check-in. The positives - the kids club staff were fantastic - there was always something going on to keep the kids entertained however to start on the negatives it was difficult to keep the majority of the kids controlled - not a comment on the kids club staff more a comment on the bad behaviour of most of the kids, (& unbelievable behaviour of most of the parents!). […] Most of the hotel staff were rude and unhelpful in the extreme – the reception and bar staff in particular – there was not enough staff on and they always seemed to find a paper to move or a glass to wipe rather than deal with the queue of guests waiting to be served. The walls of the bedrooms were so thin that you could hear everything your neighbours were doing, yes everything! Meal times were like a bun fight with everyone pushing and shoving - there really was no need for this as there were 2 restaurant areas with plenty of food which was topped up regularly. On paper the hotel has alot to offer however maybe it’s down to the fact that we were unlucky and visited at peak time but we found that it did not live up to expectation and the stay was not relaxing at all – in fact quite stressful, exhausting and infuriating. unfriendly reception staff who take for ever to serve you. Room was suppose to be a double twin bed and they put us in a split family room with a door in between rooms and a child and family on the otherside we could hear everything all night. Then they were meant to give us a new room with pool view and then we came back to reception and they had given […] this room away. We had to wait again for another room. That room was much quieter and a more pleasant stay. The hotel is awesome with three main pools and right on the beach. great location and a real family hotel. breakfast dining hall was again very unhelpful staff and extremely manic set up. too noisy and too unorganised. Well were can I start, firstly, we were supposed to be staying at the Sol Antillas, Barbados but when we arrived we were told by the taxi driver that this hotel was closed!! We booked into their adjoining hotel the Sol Antillas. The receptionist did not speak any English but we got our keys eventually.. only to find out the adjoining rooms we had requested […] for our daughters were at least 8 rooms from ours. Back down to reception to complain and we were offered alternate rooms but at least they were adjoinitng this time. Could not fault the hotel facilities other than wishing the pool could have been a little warmer it was so cold it took your breath away..... Do not venture behind the promenade unless you like extremely tacky bars and lapdancing clubs. Read more

I went on vacation with my friend (we are from the US) and chose to stay in this hotel because it was on the beach and had a great rating. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet is awesome. I really have no complaints as far as the hotel! The beach fills up quickly, so if you want to be close to the water you should get out there the early! […] I was surprised by how many families I saw there because Magaluf is a huge party place in the summer. My friend and I are young (25), and I was expecting there to be a lot of partying going on, but I wasn't prepared for being in the middle of what I saw as a British Spring Break. Gute Restaurants sind wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Ein ÜF kann deshalb in Betracht gezogen werden. Obwohl das Hotel recht groß ist, gibt es am Frühstücksbüffet keine längeren Wartezeiten. Lediglich die […] frisch zubereiteten Speisen wie Rührei, Pfannkuchen etc. waren schwerer zu bekommen, da hier meist 1 Mitarbeiter alle Gerichte bereiten musste. Personalmangel herrscht zudem an der Rezeption. Auch lies hier die Qualität der Arbeit zu wünschen übrig. Das können viele kleinere Hotels besser. Und auf Deutsch sollte man sich nicht verlassen. Hyvä tasoinen hotelli. Huoneen siivous toimi päivittäin sekä yleiset tilat ja uima-altaat olivat siistejä ja hyvin hoidettuja. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä sekä palvelualtista. Var her en uke med min sønn. Hotellet har flott beliggenhet ved enden av stranden med flott utsikt også fra restauranten som hadde god mat. Det eneste som var leit var den internasjonale barneklubben som virket uprofesjonelle og tok lite hensyn til at min sønn ikke snakket spansk. Det var også med en episode der en av instuktørene kastet ham i vannet […] selv om jeg hadde gjort det klart at han ikke var trygg i vannet. Han ville aldri mer til denne barneklubben. Read more

Hotellet ligger fint til på enden av Magalufstranden med ca fem minutters gang inn til "bargaten". Stort og fint hotell, med greie rom, stort bassengområde og aktiviteter og turneringer gjennom hele dagen (fotball, vannpolo, bordtennis, dart, boccia, vanngym osv.). Hyggelig Betjening! Grei frkostbuffet.

Da vi ankom til vores hotelværelse, var det ikke gjort rent. Efter 45 min var det ordnet, så det var til at overskue. Savnede virkelig at man samtidig ved in-checkning blev orienteret om hotellets faciliteter, hvor og hvornår der var forskellige arrangementer - eks. for børnene. Fik ingen orientering udover at morgenmad lukkede kl.10.30. Sov ikke de […] tre første nætter af opholdetgrundet yderst berusede samt larmende overboer. Hotellet gjorde ikke de store tiltag så vi måtte flytte værelse på dag 4. Yderst lydt mellem hotellets værelser. Man kunne hører naboerne lige så tydeligt ved blot almindelig tale. - for ej at forglemme en konstant larm fra gaden forårsaget af fulde unge mennesker. Hvis man sover let er Magalluf bestemt ikke stedet at rejse hen med børn - uanset børneklub på hotel eller ej. Det var ganske enkelt den værste ferie nogensinde! Read more

Familiehotel er ikke sandt - larmende omgivelser og dårlig/meget lille børnepool. Slidte værelser, sløj service, so so morgenmad. Men dejligt tæt på en vidunderlig strand og nem tilgang til "restauranter" (læs: fastfood).

Verkade vara lite slitet Man fick väldigt små glas med drinkar i hotellets bar Läget var superb nära både pool och hav vårt rum hade en superbra utsikt mot både pool, hav och berg. Dom flesta 4 stjärniga hotel brukar ha fri wifi men här fick man betala för det frukosten var bra fanns mycket att välja […] på. Utmerket beliggenhet i utkanten av Magaluf, men det kunne vært ille hvis det var i nærheten av feste området, det skulle vært informert på forhånd om dette. Greit nok rom,bra frokost,men ingen informasjon om hotellet på rommet. I resepsjonen var det info, men på Spansk. Høye priser på baren ved bassenget.Hvor var den andre restauranten?

Magaluf ist mehr Partyort als wir dachten, aber man hat seine Ruhe wenn man möchte und ist trotzdem nah an der action ;) Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen- wir sind vom Flughafen problemlos mit dem Bus (ÖV: 4,85€) nach Magaluf gekommen. Das Zimmer war schön und wurde täglich geputzt und wir haben frische Handtücher bekommen. […] Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und waren mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden! Der pool ist schön und das Meer direkt vor der Tür ( auch wenn es ein sehr touristischer Strand ist)! Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen! Wir hatten einen klasse Urlaub!!!
