Other than not having a few toiletries for the shower and the tub faucet falling off in the shower the next morning... The room was very clean and didn't have any weird smells. Easy access to the building and parking lot. Staff was friendly and courteous even though apologetic for having an update to their reservation/check in systems. With a grocery store across the road, a gas station on the corner and the mall less than a 1/4 mile in the opposite direction than the grocery store. Arrive late at night and get the room. Just like what I expected, the room is clean and non smoke smell at all. Love the service and also the asmosphere here. I would stay here again if I ever need to.

The lady the was working the front desk was the manager. She informed us that they had to charge us a fee for incidentals. Normally, only hotels with dining in them charge incidentals. Nowhere was the amount posted. It seemed as though she got to make it up for each person. She decided that she was going to charge us twice what we paid for the room […] for one night!!!! Let me first say that the staff at this hotel was great - very friendly and the hotel is in a convenient location. This is where the good begins/ends. The location itself, while convenient to I-5 is essentially a mall area (probably "the old mall) - not upper end, just a less-than-average regional mall. Lots of restaurant choices nearby but most women […] or single-travelling people would be well-advised to get inside by dark. Corner convenience marts were full of teenage "cruisers" - this was on a Monday night. I knew the moment ai arrived in the area that I was in an area where most residence aren't. Second rate restaurants, payday check cashing - you get the picture. ROOM - These hotels - Ext stay- while having a brand new "sheen" are actually retrofitted old hotels. My non-smoking room was once a smoking room - no doubt. I worked okay though. The price was good and I got my Hotel.com points. I felt like it was fine for me (I am a tent camper so I can handle alot) - also I only slept there 2 nights and was working otherwise. I guy in my office who lived out on The Sound said "oh yeah, you're over in the hood". Enough said. Probably won't go back here but it's okay. Read more

Employee's were very nice we got there 2 hours early before check in and they got us right up to our room, for no additional charge. Enjoyed it very much, kids had nice time, having a full size kitchen was great we didn't cook, but having them option too. Certainly not a top end hotel, however for a reasonable rate it met our needs for a several day stay. Many minor amenities were missing. (ie shampoos, blow dryer unless you asked, daily housekeeping). Location was across street from a grocery store and shopping mall.

They wanted me to "ok" (initial) incidentals when there were none available that I could see (I didn't want any surprises on my visa once I got home), and they wanted a picture of my drivers license when there was no need for it. If you want a room in the heart of the Federal shopping district, this is a great location. If you want a room without shabby furniture, stained carpet, lousy drinking cups and a really uncomfortable bed, keep looking.

Arrived after 11pm (tired from travel). Locked out and took a while for somebody to answer the phone. In room, black hair on pillow case when turned down the bed. Poop or cigarette remains in toilet (non smoking room).

The kitchen pots and pans, etc. were very sparse and not what I expected. The hotel itself was average, but clean. I've stayed in 5 star hotels, internationally, so this definitely did not compare, but it was nice and a good value for the dollar. Slightly more in the kitchen would definitely be a plus.

this is an older Ext Stay, but it has been kept up well. Location is a little confusing to get to, but it is right in the heart of Federal Way, close to just about everything you would need. It's tricky getting ut if you want to go to the interstate, because the traffic patterns are messed up, but that is not the hotel's fault. rooms are comfortable, […] but I wish they would get rid of the rock hard beds and have a little softer mattresses. My only complaints are about 1) too many guests hanging out in the lobby (like an extension of their rooms), and having to squeeze by many people hanging out and visiting in the hallways while I'm trying to get my bags to my room. 2) Front doors are heavy and awkward when trying to get them open to get inside with my bags. The hotel was very nice and the staff very helpful. The breakfast was quite good. The toaster didn't work in our room but was exchanged quickly. However, the bed was VERY HARD and glad we were only staying for 2 nights. The location was good for airport and family we were visiting in the area. Close to shopping and eating options.

It had been a long day, we were tired and just wanted to relax. However, my gps was insisting the hotel was in the middle of an intersection approx 4 blocks from the actual location. After trying to find it on our own we gave up. I called and the desk clerk I spoke with was very pleasant and had us there in minutes. When checking in there were two clerks […] on duty and both were very pleasant and had us checked in promptly. Having never stayed at an ESA I was not sure of what to expect of the room. It was immaculate and very spacious. Had the best tv I have seen in a hotel with a nice selection of channels. Also nice to have a table and chairs for eating and a recliner was a bonus! The bed was comfy and we slept like babies. We had planned on leaving the following day and staying somewhere along the way to our final destination. The next morning we checked to see if there was another ESA on our route and found there was not and nothing comparable. We decided to stay that night as well. I went to the front desk to inquire on the best way to book the room so we wouldn`t have to move to another room. The clerk said if I wanted to book through Expedia that would be fine and possibly cost a little less. It was less! All of the staff were very friendly and proffesional. I will recommend ESA to others and it will be my 1st choice when traveling! Read more

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Our room was clean. I really enjoy the concept of the Extended Stay Hotels. Its very homey and comfortable. When you have to be away from home its nice to have some of the conveinences of home in your hotel.
