It was just an ok hotel room. For $120.00 I kinda expected a little better. No microwave, no mini fridg etc. the air contioning was horrible . The guy at the front desk that checked me in barely said two words, I didn't even know we were finished, he just walked away a left me standing there.

The staff welcomed us with great hospitality. We initially had an issue with Hotels.com regarding our reservation, and that was resolved satisfactorily. The lobby was quite lively during happy hour and had a great spirit of celebration for all of the college graduations happening that weekend.

I am surprised by all the good reviews. The service was pleasant, but my room was very dated and dirty. I wasn't even comfortable walking barefoot. Extremely overpriced considering. I would never stay there again.

The staff are great! Friendly, professional, and helpful. The carpet in the room was past its prime, the bed wasn't great but not UNcomfortable either, the shower was dated with a squishy non-slip pad at the bottom of the tub that just felt gross. Our family of 4 stayed for 1 night. The hotel was clean and the staff was professional and courteous. The double beds were our only issue as that size does not comfortably sleep 2. We did not leave the room in time for breakfast but the buffet area indicated to me I would have liked it.

I am so glad we picked the Cabot Lodge for our one night stay as we were passing through Tallahassee. There was a fire in the fireplace in the lobby, a nice, clean room, and a yummy breakfast to send us on our way the next morning.

The room freshener here was so strong I could literally taste it. I had to sleep with my nightgown pulled over my head all night to keep from gagging on it. By morning I think it had soaked into my pores. The carpet was so warn in places there was no color. I was very happy with my stay at Cabot Lodge. The purpose of my stay was to find an apartment and other things down here in Tallahassee for my new job. The room was nice, TV was a nice 30+" Flat screen, the washer and dryer unit on the my floor was free to guests. Easy to get to, well lit, safe and reasonably priced. Nice breakfast area and fireplace was great. USA Today newspaper complimentary. The only downfall was the extra firm bed and tiny down pillows.

We stayed at the hotel during parent's weekend at FSU so the hotel was probably fully booked. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Due to the large number of people wanting to eat breakfast at the same time, finding a place to eat in the lobby area was challenging. We would consider staying here again on a future visit.

We enjoyed the evening happy hour the most. There was a nice ambiance in the reception area. The breakfast was good but there are not enough tables, when quite a few people are eating breakfast at the same time. The rooms are okay, but the tub was not very clean. I must say the staff was helpful and friendly.

Cabot Lodge is nice place with a good breakfast-hot food and fruit. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was that my wife thought the pillows were hard...I like them that way! We have family North of Tallahassee and the location was the most convenient in town for us. We will likely stay there the next time we visit.

Here are the plusses: 1) Room was clean & fresh-smelling 2) Coin operated laundry on the grounds 3) No work out room on the grounds, but you get a free guest pass to work out at a local gym less than a mile from the hotel. Staff was nice, girl in breakfast area was texting, but stopped when someone came up - very few tables in dining area for breakfast, I was glad we got one because sitting on a sofa and eating from a coffee table is not comfy. Overall it was nice, we chose the hotel because of its location not amenities.

All of the staff we met were so pleasant. They all seemed to really like their jobs. That is so refreshing to see. Our room was very clean, the A/C was very cool, & the beds were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient for us. We will definitely seek out Cabot Lodge in other cities we visit.

In a certain price range, you really don't expect much. While the staff was nice and the lodge themed lobby cute, I wasn't expecting hairs in the shower (long hard to miss black ones!) or such a squeaky bed. Even for a free breakfast it was sub par. Other than that, the location was nice and surrounding area felt safe.

I arrived at a late hour and was told my quoted rate, which was quite high, did not include an expensive pet fee (for a 6 pound groomed Maltese). The rooms are old, the bathroom floor was dirty from built up hair spray and grime, the tub was stained, and we were awakened at 12:45 a.m. by a dumpster being emptied at a next door business. Our 2 night stay was perfect. Open bar, free drinks and popcorn at 6 are great pluses. Hot breakfst with eggs, sausage, waffles is also a fine bonus. Most of all, these honest folks found my ring I had left by the sink, and held it for me! That is rare service anywhere! I'd stay here any time I am in Tallahassee.

Our visit to town just happened to be a football game weekend. One would expect with a hotel full of football fans that it would have been noisy and the public spaces crowded, but that wasn't the case. Our stay was very enjoyable. There was plenty of room for the crowd at the breakfast buffet and we didn't notice any hall noise at all. All of the food was good, especially the biscuits and gravy! The lobby had very comfortable sitting area and nice fireplace to create a really relaxing environment. Even though there wasn't a refrigerator in our room, I just asked the front desk staff to put my icepack in their freezer each night and they were happy to accommodate me.
