Americas Best Value Inn - Killeen

It may have been an older motel but they were in the process of updating it. The staff was very nice and were more than willing to get what you requested. The breakfast was outstanding. It had a little of everything that you would enjoy for breakfast. It was always fresh and refilled when items were empty. Our room had a large area with a couch, table […] and chairs that were separate from the bedroom and bathroom which made it so much more comfortable. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job in keeping the room well stocked with towels, coffee, etc. It always smelled fresh after they cleaned it. The pool was clean and they had plenty of chaise lounges to lay on. I know that many guests always talk about the negative when doing a review but some guests expect the best of everything at a low price. It was well worth the money we spend to stay there and we would stay there again. The only thing that I would suggest is that they allow pets to stay. Most of the newer motels do accept pets and we would have liked to take our dog with us. Read more

No smoke alarm in room just a hole in the ceiling with wires. Swimming pool water was GREEN and should have been closed. Door wasn't secure unless the dead bolt was on at all times. Floor in bathroom was so hot we had to wear flip flops or stand on towels. Our room was above the hotel laundry room and the ceramic tile stayed hot and wet!

Our room was rather outdated and had not been well maintained. There were several stains on the furniture upholstery and carpet - a good steam-cleaning would have helped immensely. The rooms are pretty big and the cleaniss was satisfactory. The pool was not clean it look like it needed maintenance. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

We arrived very late. Check in was not a problem. We were approached by a panhandler wanting money. For this to be SUITES it was very disappointing. The beds were clean, the room not so much. It looked like 10 children had been playing in dirt all day and wiped there hands on the doors. There was dust above the door jams, coffee spots on the wall, the […] mirror hung at an angel and more spots on the wall. The wall had been patched but not painted. Had a pleasant comfortable stay. Beds were very comfortable, slept very good. Staff was very friendly & courteous. Breakfast bar was great! Minor setbacks, power had gone out for a few hours on one side of the building but hotel was not at fault. I would definitely recommend it and plan make reservation for our next trip to Killeen.

The people working there were great. The room was a disaster - stains on rug, stains on furniture (couch, chair), very very poor internet connection - could never get the Internet functioning correctly, not even in the office - ethernet cable in my suite never worked. The room needs to be totally refurbished. Shortage of towels.

Great location for access to Fort Hood. Stayed in a suite, which was so huge you could almost get lost! Furniture was poor quality and downright uncomfortable, but bed was great for a good night's sleep. No wireless available, but hard wire is. Large selection of TV channels. We stayed for 6 days and our linens were not changed once during our stay. Tried to communicate this to housekeeping but did not understand English.
