Jurys Inn Christchurch - Dublin

Jurys Inn Christchurch surpassed my expectations. The location is as good as possible...close to everything. Right next to hop on/hop off bus stop. The staff was attentive and friendly. A few cons: tight bathroom and slightly uncomfortable beds. I will recommend to friends and stay there again.

The every staff member was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location for the Saint Patrick's Parade could not have been better. Walking from the hotel to see the city at anytime of the day or night was convenient and safe. The breakfast was very good. We would stay again.

The bed and the pillows were unbelievable. It was the two most comfortable nights of my sleep that I've ever had so thank you! Great location and very easy to find. Clean hotel and friendly front desk. I would stay here again.

This hotel was in a perfect location. Walking distance to the Temple Bar area and Trinity college. Bus to and from the airport stopped about 100 yds away. Hop on Hop off stooped at the same place. Made things quite easy.

The hotel is in a great location for central Dublin. The rooms are not fancy but are roomy and have everything you need. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but the food from the bar was not.

Hotel is in a great location to walk to Dublin sightseeing, but hotel staff from front desk to housekeeping was unhelpful or unreliable. With no a/c windows have to stay open in summer, but hotel has very loud church bells on one side and on the opposite, courtyard side they loudly load and unload trucks at 6:30 each morning. Wonderful hotel, and the staff were very helpful. When we arrived, our reservation for two rooms could not be found. The staff calmed us and sorted it out in no time! Had us brought a cappuchino while we waited. Our rooms were lovely, comfortable and overlooked Christchurch Cathedral. And, no, the bells did not disturb our sleep! The best part of staying at this hotel was its location. The overall hotel was a bit shabby and needs a face lift. The worst part of the stay was the heat. The windows would only open 2 inches and the hotel had the heating system running and it was 75 degress outside. It was very hot and very difficult to sleep. We stayed at Jury's Inn Christchurch our last night in Dublin. The Staff was superior at helping us. We arrived early as I had told them we would and our room was ready. Our "card" key worked for our room but they had to reprogram it two different times to go through the door to get to the elevator. Our room was directly across from the church and we […] had a beautiful view. The room was clean and very adequate. Two difficulties/problems were the bathroom door is on a pressurized pneumatic door closure which is harder for handicapped people to open - prefer a regular door. Also, every time the toilet was flushed, the chain inside came off and we had to reconnect it. It is the only hotel out of 9 we stayed at in Ireland which had these problems. Read more

Perfect location - we could walk to the Temple Bar area for great food and entertainment, walk to some of the best Dublin shopping areas, easy walk to Dublin Castle, and we were right across the road from Christchurch Cathedral! Had a wonderful stay, and the staff was very helpful.

Excellent location and food service. Lighting in rooms was quite dim, especiallly in the bathroom where the lighting made it difficult to see while shaving. In addition, the bathroom door would not stay open and closed with a force that was uncomfortable to deal with.

unannounced fire drill while we were staying at the hotel. Even though the sign in the lobby said to be prepared for an unannounced fire drills on wednesday, this happened on thursday at noon and literally scared the hell out of us. My husband rushed out of the shower once the alarm sounded and threw on clothes over his soaking wet hair and body, then […] when we went out into the hallway we realized all the fire doors had been closed. We did love the great downtown location and within walking distance of most major Dublin attractions! Christchurch right outside our window was fabulous and I didn't mind the bells chiming at all! We were so tired from all of our touring and walking we didn't notice during the night hardly at all! The view was awesome! Our rates were great...breakfast […] included and it was very good and hot! The only problem we had was that we had a very early flight and needed to leave for the airport by 6 a.m.....the hotel is NOT in charge of the parking garage BUT assured us that it would NOT be a problem leaving at 6 a.m. even though the garage did not open until 7...however, the "arm" would not go up and we were stuck in the garage with other guests who also needed to leave until a parking attendant arrived which was VERY frustrating and we almost missed our flight back to Chicago! You will go through customs at Dublin and that takes quite some time! That was our only misadventure. So beware if you have an early flight...you might not get out of the garage! Otherwise I would recommend the hotel...it has a great restaurant...good food and friendly staff. Read more

Would definitely stay here again or at any other of their locations!! The location was great (a bit tricky to get to. We could see it but since we couldn't make a r. turn it took us a bit to get to it). The room was spacious, airy and comfortable! Loved it!!

Had a great time here. People behind desk were wonderful and very helpful. Location was top notch to see everything. We walked all over to everything we wanted to see. Would stay there next time for sure. Be sure to buy the Breakfast when you get there instead of ahead of time.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room however is very small. And the bathroom is very basic. We also had problems with the sink not draining. We asked them to fix it but they did not so we had to wash our hands and brush our teeth in the shower. We will not go back.
