"Great Hotel, Great Location"
Excellent hotel in Dublin. Three block walk to Temple Bar, great location for pretty much everything in the city. It's about a 15 - 20 min. walk to the Guinness Storehouse.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent hotel in central location"
We chose this hotel because of its central location in Dublin. We didn't have a car, so we needed a place with easy access to public transportation and tourist sites. It was only a 15 minute walk to the Guinness Storehouse and the Temple Bar/Grafton St. areas and a 30 minute bus ride from the airport. The breakfast was really tasty, but we weren't too […] impressed with the dinner we got from the hotel restaurant. There is also a fee for the internet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"good location but..."
we started our vacation in Dublin. We liked the location of the hotel but it could use updating. The lack of internet access (free) was disappointing. only at the Jurys inn that we had to pay for access. It was just OK definitely the hotel we liked the least and would not go backGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice hotel. Would stay there again."
Except for the 10€ per day charge for Wi Fi, I though it was a very good hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Location is good and is within walking distance to most attractions and on bus lines.Genuine Expedia guest review
They seemed to spend all their money on the lobby and nothing on the rooms. The rooms were outdated and worn - very basic. While the location was good (right across from Christchurch Catheral) it still wasn't worth the money. Also, they charge to use the Internet (who does that anymore?!) - 5 euros for an hour or 10 euros for 24 hours.Genuine Expedia guest review
There were two problems with this hotel. It is not air conditioned in the rooms and we booked smoking rooms to find out it was a non smoking hotel. I don't know if this was a hotel.com error or the if the hotel needs to update their listings. There was also no room service or ice available except at the bar. The lift was so small that four people riding […] in it was very uncomfortable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We've stayed here before and find the location brings us back. Fortunately, the windows of rooms in front sufficiently mask the never-ending tolling of the Christchurch cathedral across the street. A disadvantage is the inability to open room windows sufficiently to ventilate the summer heat--yes, it was surprisingly warm in Dublin! The hotel provides […] good value for the price and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The place grew on me"
We visited Dublin during its heat wave, so the main concern about the hotel (being on the top floor) was how hot the room was. A fan was provided but the window only opened a few inches for safety reasons. We had to leave the shades open to catch a breeze, which made it hard to get kids to sleep before the sun went down at 10:30. The room was comfortable, […] though. We had a double bed, a pull-out couch, and the most comfortable cot I've ever tried. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is not fancy, but the more days we stayed there, the more I appreciated the location. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel with good location"
The hotel was clean and in a good location, but seemed run down and in need of some refurbishment. The room did not have air conditioning and was stuffy.Genuine Expedia guest review
"needs better matresses"
location is terrific but the mattress was old and sagging. not the place if you have a delicate back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location and value"
Location was very convenient. Satisfied with everything. Breakfast was very good value. Taxi queue right in front of hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Telephone system... Not able to make international calls from room. No other phone offered in hotel to make a call except front desk which can be very noisy and/or busy. Staff less than helpful in this. Loved the Queen of Tarts ... Just around corner for scones, tea and all kinds of scrumptious food.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, staff very accomodating...hard bed"
Jurys Inn Christchurch surpassed my expectations. The location is as good as possible...close to everything. Right next to hop on/hop off bus stop. The staff was attentive and friendly. A few cons: tight bathroom and slightly uncomfortable beds. I will recommend to friends and stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location and price"
Great location and price. Our only issue is that the mattress was somewhat lumpy and saggy. Note that wireless internet access costs an additional 10 euros per day.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent service and location."
The every staff member was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location for the Saint Patrick's Parade could not have been better. Walking from the hotel to see the city at anytime of the day or night was convenient and safe. The breakfast was very good. We would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Perfect location and the hotel staff were friendly. Good breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bed was Amazing"
The bed and the pillows were unbelievable. It was the two most comfortable nights of my sleep that I've ever had so thank you! Great location and very easy to find. Clean hotel and friendly front desk. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was in a perfect location. Walking distance to the Temple Bar area and Trinity college. Bus to and from the airport stopped about 100 yds away. Hop on Hop off stooped at the same place. Made things quite easy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Pros: Nice Hotel. Great location. Great Breakfast. Parking. Cons: Cold shower, no water pressure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
friendly hotel staff, great location for touring, easy walking to Temple Bar and other tourist areas- easy access for public transportation- breakfast at hotel not worth the cost hower good value for the hotel overall...clean room...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is in a great location for central Dublin. The rooms are not fancy but are roomy and have everything you need. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but the food from the bar was not.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location. Clean comfortable room not far from temple bar area. A little noisy as we were near the elevator.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good hotel and location . great breakfast. Only criticism: windows only open 2 inches and room can get stuffy ( no AC)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient but issues"
Hotel is in a great location to walk to Dublin sightseeing, but hotel staff from front desk to housekeeping was unhelpful or unreliable. With no a/c windows have to stay open in summer, but hotel has very loud church bells on one side and on the opposite, courtyard side they loudly load and unload trucks at 6:30 each morning. Only hotel in Ireland that […] charged for wifi. Room was adequate size with good bed and bath, TV remote only good within 3 feet of set. "Great place to stay in central Dublin."
great central location in Dublin. 30 minutes from airport. Comfortable rooms, clean and friendly staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
We paid for the breakfast. However, we had to check out, before the dinning room opened. I asked for a refund of the breakfast amount and they refused. They offered a sack breakfast that was not an acceptable substitute. They would not allow my family to eat in the hotel. I asked where we could eat our sack breakfast and was rudely shown the door. "Great place to stay while visiting Dublin"
The location was superb. The hop on hop off bus was close by, security was excellent the the staff very helpful. The lobby was inviting and provided a great meeting place for fellow travelers. As an American, we are more accustomed to air conditioning in the room, but the temperate was fine as is. Bathrooms were clean and I like the "green" aspect of […] the Jury's hotels. "Wonderful stay within walking distance to sights"
Wonderful hotel, and the staff were very helpful. When we arrived, our reservation for two rooms could not be found. The staff calmed us and sorted it out in no time! Had us brought a cappuchino while we waited. Our rooms were lovely, comfortable and overlooked Christchurch Cathedral. And, no, the bells did not disturb our sleep! Nearby, was the Guiness […] factory, St. Patricks, Temple Bar area, Grafton st and a ton of wonderful eateries and places to visit...all in short walking distance! I was very comfortable, and the staff was courteous and helpful. Location of hotel was great to all the sites..When I come to Ireland, especially Dublin will stay again. Thank youGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was nice, however there is no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows only open about an inch. The room was very warm.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The best part of staying at this hotel was its location. The overall hotel was a bit shabby and needs a face lift. The worst part of the stay was the heat. The windows would only open 2 inches and the hotel had the heating system running and it was 75 degress outside. It was very hot and very difficult to sleep. Also, you have to pay for internet services […] on top of the hotel charge with no breakfast included. As stated the main value was in the location. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We stayed at Jury's Inn Christchurch our last night in Dublin. The Staff was superior at helping us. We arrived early as I had told them we would and our room was ready. Our "card" key worked for our room but they had to reprogram it two different times to go through the door to get to the elevator. Our room was directly across from the church and we […] had a beautiful view. The room was clean and very adequate. Two difficulties/problems were the bathroom door is on a pressurized pneumatic door closure which is harder for handicapped people to open - prefer a regular door. Also, every time the toilet was flushed, the chain inside came off and we had to reconnect it. It is the only hotel out of 9 we stayed at in Ireland which had these problems. Perfect location - we could walk to the Temple Bar area for great food and entertainment, walk to some of the best Dublin shopping areas, easy walk to Dublin Castle, and we were right across the road from Christchurch Cathedral! Had a wonderful stay, and the staff was very helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent location and food service. Lighting in rooms was quite dim, especiallly in the bathroom where the lighting made it difficult to see while shaving. In addition, the bathroom door would not stay open and closed with a force that was uncomfortable to deal with.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was in a great location and had a wonderful staff. The beds were a little hard, but welcome to pretty much any hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
unannounced fire drill while we were staying at the hotel. Even though the sign in the lobby said to be prepared for an unannounced fire drills on wednesday, this happened on thursday at noon and literally scared the hell out of us. My husband rushed out of the shower once the alarm sounded and threw on clothes over his soaking wet hair and body, then […] when we went out into the hallway we realized all the fire doors had been closed. It appeared to be a real fire for all we knew. That is until we made our way down the fire escape and realized that this was a fire drill from a man in the lobby. We did love the great downtown location and within walking distance of most major Dublin attractions! Christchurch right outside our window was fabulous and I didn't mind the bells chiming at all! We were so tired from all of our touring and walking we didn't notice during the night hardly at all! The view was awesome! Our rates were great...breakfast […] included and it was very good and hot! The only problem we had was that we had a very early flight and needed to leave for the airport by 6 a.m.....the hotel is NOT in charge of the parking garage BUT assured us that it would NOT be a problem leaving at 6 a.m. even though the garage did not open until 7...however, the "arm" would not go up and we were stuck in the garage with other guests who also needed to leave until a parking attendant arrived which was VERY frustrating and we almost missed our flight back to Chicago! You will go through customs at Dublin and that takes quite some time! That was our only misadventure. So beware if you have an early flight...you might not get out of the garage! Otherwise I would recommend the hotel...it has a great restaurant...good food and friendly staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"This was free and I feel that I overpaid."
The staff was overworked, uninformed and distinctly unhelpful. A resident of Dublin overheard the conversation between the hotel associate and myself, then stopped me in the street to tell me to report the associate for his rudeness.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Jurys Inn Christchurch"
Would definitely stay here again or at any other of their locations!! The location was great (a bit tricky to get to. We could see it but since we couldn't make a r. turn it took us a bit to get to it). The room was spacious, airy and comfortable! Loved it!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay!!!!"
Had a great time here. People behind desk were wonderful and very helpful. Location was top notch to see everything. We walked all over to everything we wanted to see. Would stay there next time for sure. Be sure to buy the Breakfast when you get there instead of ahead of time.Genuine Expedia guest review
"You get what you pay for it"
The hotel is in a good location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room however is very small. And the bathroom is very basic. We also had problems with the sink not draining. We asked them to fix it but they did not so we had to wash our hands and brush our teeth in the shower. We will not go back.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was recommended by a friend. It was in a good location and most tourist areas were an easy walk. The room came with a full breakfast which was a plus. The room was really dated and the bathroom needs drastic improvement. Overall the hotel was adequate at best. We only spent time there to sleep. Not worth staying if breakfast is not a free […] perk. Convenient to Dublin sights. Overall, a pleasant hotel at which I have spent many nights over the past years. It could use a facelift, but generally clean and comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"No frills, but would stay again"
Great location and helpful, professional staff. The hotel is no frills, but the rooms are fine. Try and get a quiet room on the street. We switched out of one facing a back courtyard with trash cans. We even had a view of Christchurch Cathedral. They allowed us to store one large suit case when we checked out for 3 days. The breakfast is probably worth […] including with the room. "Jury's Inn Christchurch"
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, the room was clean and quiet. The location allowed easy access to the Temple Bar district, but wasn't too noisy.
