The hotel is fairly new and very nice. It is close enough to the airport to make your early morning departure hassle free and the cost of the provided shuttle service is reasonable.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Regent. The hotel staff was basically friendly and helpful, but at times it appeared as though they were sucking on lemons as their disposition would become put-offish. However, they may have had a bad day. Our accommodation was OK. The room was warm, comfortable and very clean. However, we were in a building about three buildings down from the office building and there was no parking by our building. Therefore, we had to park by the office building and walk back to our room at night. It was dark and not well lit. They had a little vehicle to transport people to and from their rooms to the front office, but we did not use this service. Likewise, they also had a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport, but we did not use this service either. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. If you are planning to leave from the airport, or visit sights in close proximity, this is a great location and I recommend it. But, if you will be visiting Munich, you should probably find a location closer to your destination.

This is a nice hotel. Make no mistake about that. However, if you are like most any other tourist, you will be lugging a big suitcase and possibly a piece of carry-on luggage (roll-aboard) around Europe on your vacation. Therefore, be forewarned, this hotel has no elevator. So, you have to lug "whatever" up a couple flights of stairs to your room. We stayed at this hotel bec. the town is near the Munich airport, the town is worth a visit in its own right. The proprietor of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is fabulous (though a bit expensive). The hotel and the room are lovely, but the room was small for two people.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Zur Altstadt sind es ungefähr 10 - 15 min zu Fuss. Die Preise der Minibar sind für ein Hotel absolut angemessen. Ich kann das Hotel für einen kurzen Trip nach Landshut absolut empfehlen, es wird seinem Namen (Romantikhotel) gerecht. Ideal für verliebte Pärchen.
