"Great location, but cramped room"
Upon checking in, the front desk was very helpful with suggestions about things to do in the area. The hotel is in a wonderful location, but that's where the praise ends. The rooms are pretty small for the price they charge and you need to pay for Wifi as well, which is frustrating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close your windows..."
GREAT LOCATION if you want to experience the nightlife of Keyes Street and the races that are held annually in Galway. I didn't realize that the windows were doubled so that the sound could be abated a bit from the street - be sure to request a room away from the main street if you want sleep.... Otherwise this hotel is tip top and in a perfect location […] for everything. Great staff and really conveient for sightseeing and just about anything. Highly recommended. "Good and Bad!"
We had a tough time finding the hotel because it is in the middle of Galway City and our GPS was sending up down one way streets the wrong way! When we tried to call the front desk for assistance no one picked up the phone. After circling around in a lot of traffic, we finally found it. There is a car park for the hotel. The location is good and bad. […] It is at the end of Quay St which is right where all the action is- pubs, restaurants,shops- all steps from the hotel and is overlooking the river. That was really great and we loved all the music and people out walking and having fun. However, you have everyone leaving the pubs all night long and partying directly in front of the hotel very late into the night. It was very loud and tough to sleep. Bring ear plugs! Room was small for a family of four. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel with nice view of the water nearby"
Well kept Let travelers know revelers are close by but do quiet down by mid-night. Need better description of access to indoor garage right near inn. Very good serviceGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel is next to the latin quarter with many shops and resturants right out the door. A 10 minute walk with bags to either the bus or train station made for easy travel to and from the hotel. I recived great help with directions from the staff and had a great experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice location but hot room"
the location was great in mid down town, but the room had no ventilation and a insufficient window so that it turned out to be hot on a summers dayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to pubs, nightlife"
okay, but I think hotels ought to have clocks in the rooms and fans if they don't have ACGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I loved the proximity to shopping, dining and sight-seeing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a nice stay. It is in a great location for sight seeing. The hotel has a great bar with good food. Parking in right next door. Nice and clean with comfortable beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Highly recommend this hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The best thing about this hotel was its location. The room itself was average and suited our needs. The service was terrible. I spent two nights here and went to the front desk on several occasions seeking information about wireless Internet and tours of Galway. The website gives you the impression wireless is free. You can get it for one hour free […] but you can only use two devices. There were three adults in my party so we had to share devices. When I asked if I could have it for the night I was told it was 5 euros. I just paid it. We wanted to do a tour of the Cliffs of Moher. I was told to be in the lobby at 9:15am. I was in the lobby at 9am. I asked about tickets and was told to go outside. I went outside and didn't see anyone. I went back in and asked a different person. He told me to go across the street. I also asked both of these individuals (separately) what time I would be back and they both said 5pm. I went back outside and now found about 8 of us just standing there. No one knew anything and everyone said the same thing: "they aren't very helpful". Finally a bus pulled up and a wonderful Irish fellow came out and helped us. Again the staff explained nothing to us and it was quite clear to us they could care less. We got back at 7:15pm There was no Irish hospitality and the stay at the hotel was a total disappointment. "Difficult to get to in a car"
Very goodGenuine Hotels.com guest review
You are in such a great place to stay at the Jurys Inn. Right off of shop street and just across from the bay and Spanish Arches. Couldn't have asked for a better place to be! Everyone was nice and helpful and the rooms were fantastic!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms on the circle side are very nosey but other wise a nice hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Customer Service!"
Reasonably priced, great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms! When we checked in we were given a room that had not been fully cleaned, called down to the front desk and someone knocked at our door within minutes to escort us to a new room, even carried our luggage. Walking distance to the Bay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location location location"
Located in a most convenient excellent location for restaurants and bars for night life and a great start for a nice morning or afternoon walk along the sea line. Right at the main entrance to town on the main road with convenient hotel discounted parkingGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good overnight stay."
If in Galway I would recommend this hotel if you want decent hotel and a fair price. Right on the river if you have a room with a view and right next to restaurant pub area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very convenient to all of the tourist sites"
We had a triple room and the room was a typical European sized room (not very large).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was not impressed with the overall experience, it was very costly compared to other Hotels in the region.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Jury's Inn Galway- well worth it"
The hotel is located within City Center and right on the river running through town. I had work at NIU-Galway and could easily walk to campus. Staff was very responsive and polite. I will definitely stay there again when returning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful hotel in the centre of Galway"
We were very impressed by our room and the view of the river out our window. Considering that it is in the center of downtown, it is relatively easy to get to if you follow Salthill signs on 136 and just stay on 136. It leads you right there. You'll see it come up on the left. Pull into the parking structure (it's very tight) and seek a spot further […] in so you don't get parked in too closely. The hotel can provide you with a ticket for 10 Euros that covers you from 1:00 to 1:00. The streets directly behind the hotel are actually little alleyways with lots of shops and pubs and are mostly pedestrian. Most attractions are walking distance. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain with gale force winds and we had little time to spare, so we didn't get to see anything. We did enjoy the shopping and pubs. If I had to do it again, I would stay two nights to take it all in. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to excellent shopping and restaurants"
Very comfortable. Within walking distance to so many shops and restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location Location Location"
Fab location, nice room, great craic in the bar later in the evening as well. 2 small gripes. You have to pay for parking (about €10 per 24 hours) and you have to pay for breakfast (€9) but again small gripes and food was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Galway is a must see"
The location of this hotel was perfect. Kevin who worked for Juries always seemed to be on duty. He was very helpful and his easy going ways made our stay a pleasure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice staff, clean and great location. They are doing up the rooms so should just get better. Handy parking next door but with an added charge just ask at desk for discount. Overall good and would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to reataurants and night life"
Very pleasant couple of days. Excellent view from room (overlooking River). Short walk to most sights in city and transportation hubs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The place was in a good location. It was disappointing that you had to pay for wifi and it was only available in the lobby and it wasn't working even in the lobby on the 2nd day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location in Galway"
The hotel was great EXCEPT NO WIFI availability. You had to pay for WIFI, but then it wasn't working. They refunded our money, but it was still annoying as it was advertised as WIFI accessible. Had to leave the hotel to use computer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved our stay in Galway. Our room was very comfortable, clean and roomy. Our location was excellent. We loved all the action on Quay Street.. Unfortunately we didn't have much time in the City but instead toured the countryside which we loved.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall Good Value"
Super location, clean rooms, good breakfast. I was traveling with my Dad and it was perfect for us to use as a base for sightseeing, tours, etc. Everything was within easy walking distance. Staff was good, not great ( they messed up wake-up calls and while polite , seemed a bit busy to spend alot of time with you) But overall a very good value, would […] go back for sure. The front desk cleck was very rude. Why would you charge so much for the room and then have an addtional charge for WiFi when right down the street is McDonalds where WiFi is free??? You also charged for parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
An OK hotel in a great location. Here, it is all about location. If you want to be where the action is in Galway, this is THE place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was fine and was central to everything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was good except parking structure very difficult to get into for cars.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Terrible hotel at a great location"
Only good thing I see about this hotel is the location. Room, bed and bathroom all were really terrible.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Center City Location"
This is not a four or five star hotel but it is in a five star location. It is an excellant value. The beds were a bit soft and one receptionist at the front desk at nights was not very knowledgable. Everything else exceeded expectations. The staff was polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and we had a very nice river view.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I chose Jurys because of its prime location, near the water and near all the restaurants and shops. Very accessible. Staff was friendly and very helpful when we wanted to get to Inishmore. Only limitation was the size of the room and it had no air conditioning except open windows and a fan. Still, had a great time! It was my son's first trip to Ireland, […] and we loved everything we saw and did. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is located close to the main sights of Galway. You can visit the popular pubs and see the water from this location. They have added a second window layer so you are not bothered by the people leaving the pubs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was not helpful at all bordering on rude. No one offered to help with bsgs instead they just watched me struggle.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the Quay, great restaurants, and shopping"
The Jury's staff was really wonderful. When we realized I'd missed the tour bus pick up, even though I'd been waiting where I had been told to wait the night before, the young woman at the front desk called the Tour Company who came back and picked me up for my tour to the Cliffs of Moher. And, they recommended a great restaurant that served the best […] fish! Lovely time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location, great hotel"

"Great stay in Galway"
We stayed for 2 nights in a triple room for 3 girls with lots of luggage. The room was clean and sizable and the bathrooms were nice. The location was great to the main streets of Galway shopping and pubs and the view of the river outside the window was beautiful. Everything was in walking distance and they have tours that pick you up right in the lobby. […] Wished they had wi-fi in the room but that was the only downfall. Would stay in this chain again if traveling in the area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Our only disappointment was our dessert. On evening we went into the bar and ordered from the dessert menu. I ordered the "Fudge Cake" which look more like a sad, flat brownie at a price of 5.95euro I expected much more. My daughter had the "Cheesecake" which was dry and had very little flavor. The staff was wonderful, friendly, accommodating and appeared […] to be very hard working. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Key Location--Quay location to crawl the Pubs"
They were terrific, the room , resaurant and pub were very nice and the staff and bartender were very helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had 2 rooms; one didn't have a working phone and the other was very warm. The first room reeked of cigarettes. The bed in the room with one bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable; there was a strong smell in the hallway and there were drunks using profanity outside the windows throughout the night. Not at all what we expected. Had stayed at the Jury's […] Inn in Dublin and it was perfect. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The only thing I would caution is the amount of noise outside the hotel at 3-5 AM wit the window open the noise was pretty loud and could not sleep. get a riverside room or keep the window closed.Genuine Expedia guest review
We picked Jury's off the internet and were hoping for a great location. We could not have been happier. It is in walking distance to everything and right out the front door begins a pedestrian mall filled full of shops and pubs. The hotel breakfast was great and the front desk people could not have been nicer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"this place rocks!"
my friend and i stayed here for three nights while exploring galway and the surrounding areas. free wi-fi in the lobby, perfect positioning in the city, great view of the river, and great service! the pub/restaurant downstairs is super nice, with a variety of food. this was hands-down a great deal and awesome place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
