Traveling with two little kids (5 & 1), we had the junior suite. It was very clean and spacious (paris hotels are notorious for small rooms). Staff were very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Location is great with the RER and metro right outside doorsteps. Starbucks just outside, two malls within blocks and a good shopping area while most major sites are within 30 minute walking. Reccomend.

The room was a little small but had twin beds, desk, chair, closet, and luggage stand. The windows opened and there was a fan available in the room if needed. Good cafes in the neighborhood. Metro station very close. We would use this hotel again.

This was our second stay at Hotel de Vendome and it topped the excellent experience that we enjoyed in November 2010. We were upgraded to a corner deluxe suite for an anniversary trip and welcomed with red rose petals in the room. Every detail of the hotel is first class with a very warm and friendly staff. Breakfast in the room every morning was a luxury followed by a walk in the Tuileries just a block from the hotel. If you're looking for the ultimate elegant boutique Parisian hotel, then you'll find it here. We'll be coming back to this one again. Bon voyage.

Other than being a tad far from a metro station, the location was perfect - several grocery stores within easy reach, not to mention the Eiffel Tower. The front desk staff was uniformly nice and helpful. Cleanliness was OK, things a bit worn, no maid service other than once a week. I might choose someplace else for a grown-up getaway but it was perfect for our family with young children, especially to have a kitchen.

"Decent but not great"
The hotel is conveniently located, 300m from the Metro, but on a busy/noisy street, yet only a 5 min walk from the quiet neighborhood of Montmartre. The hotel staff was helpful. Hey it is only a two star and very affordable given it is Paris. The best thing is the Jules Jofren metro stop is right there that will take you direct to the Tulleries and Concorde in 6 stops. We were looking for an affordable hotel in that neighborhood to be close to a friend. Jardins de Paris Montmartre was a perfect solution. "Would Definitely Return"
Excellent little hotel just a few minutes from a metro station. Very polite English speaking staff who were helpful 24/7. Very clean comfortable rooms with fresh bedding every day. This was much much nicer than what I had expected considering how well priced it was. I would definitely return to this hotel if I ever go to Paris again.

The hotel was okay but not as good value for money as the other hotel, we started in. which was in a nicer part of town and was nearly refurbished and € 20euros more per night. The room I was provided with was basic, clean and comfitable. It was a large single, with on-suite comfy double bed and TV. The room was street level and quite safe as the window was behind a high security gate, although it could be a little noisy - ear-plugs are recommended if you’re a light sleeper. The location of the hotel is only a couple of stops and one change from Gard de Nord, which is very useful for the Eurostar and quite easy to get to the all the major sights, as buses stop right outside the hotel and the metro station is only 5 mins walk away. The locations served etc were listed in a very useful local guide-folder in the room. Plenty of cash-machines and those all important pastry shops nearby, as well as a chemist and a supermarket. The surrounding area is a little rough around the edges, but you are in the heart of real Paris where people, eat live and shop! I had no problems travelling back late at night after doing a day’s sight -seeing etc. Its common sense in every city, just be aware of your surroundings etc. Would I stay there again? Yes, I thought it was good value for money for an easy accessible, clean comfy room when all you’re really using it for is a base, to change, shower and sleep! A cosy room with a convenient location on Rue Ordener - a street where all your necessities can be found. Even Maguy, the hotel receptionist, was extremely helpful and cheerful. Except for the thin walls of my room, I have nothing to complain.

"Good hotel"
Room was small but clean, although we asked for a dble we got a twin which is fine when you are paying for this sort of quality. Shower was a little dirty and door was broken and there was nothing to hang the shower hose on, but all in all a great hotel, friendly staff, good value for money, great location.

"Jardins de Montmatre - nice wee place"
The hotel staff were warm and welcoming. The room was very small and faced the busy street. There was no air con in the room also so it was very warm. The beds, we had a twin, were pretty solid too not the comfiest but we made the most of it as were knew it was a budget choice. The shower also was not attached to its rail so one handed showering was […] awkward. Saying this is was functoinal and clean and to be honest in a city as wonderful as Paris who cares what a room is like where only minimal time will be spent. Next time i would probably pay a bit more and go for something bigger though. Very friendly staff and hotel located conveniently closeto the Metro. Good breakfast and adequately comfortable room in clean condition. We enjoyed our stay.
Staff very helpful. Good value for money but the room was small and smelled of stale tobacco but it was clean althougn carpet has seen better days and the shower room was very small also. It was easy to find and quite convenient

"Hyggeligt og flinkt personale"
Meget hjælpsomt personale. Fin morgen buffet. Ligger lidt fra de mest kendte seværdigheder men gode bus- og metroforbindelser. Kunne godt finde på at komme igen.
Séjour vraiment sympa. L'hotel est situé à proximité du métro, dans une rue commercante avec plein de petits restos. Les personnels de l'hotel sont vraiment à l'écoute et nous ont vraiment très bien renseignés. Le petit déjeuner était tout à fait correct avec du pain et des croissants venatnt directement d'une boulangerie.

Hotellet levde upp till de förväntningar vi haft bland annat efter att ha läst recensioner här. Rummen kanske inte hade den modernaste inredningen men badrummet var renoverat. Området utanför hotellet kändes säkert och avståndet till Metron var helt klart överkomligt. Venstre seng i nr 57(i 5.etasje)var helt nedsunket og bør snarest skiftes ut. Vi ble plassert i 5 etasje, der en stige som hang på veggen v trappeoppgangen var eneste mulighet ved eventuell brann. Olimme hotellissa 5 yötä. Hotelli löytyi helposti ja on hyvien yhteyksien päässä. Matka CHG-lentokentältä sujui kätevästi RER junalla ja metrolla. Lähin metroasema Jules Jofrin on vain 200 metrin päässä hotellilta saman kadun varrella. Huone oli kompakti (suomalaisittain pieni). Hotellin käytävät ja portaikko olivat kapeat ja harmiksemme hissi oli […] epäkunnossa ja jouduimme raahaamaan matkalaukut neljänteen kerrokseen. Hissi tuli kuitenkin kuntoon seuraavana päivänä ja liikkuminen helpottui. Huoneemme oli sisäpihan puolella eikä meteli häirinnyt. Hotelli sijaitsee muutoinkin rauhallisella alueella, joten uni maistuu varmaan herkempiunisillekin. Hotellin aamupala oli buffet tyyppinen; sanalla sanoen riittävä. Tuoretta leipää haettiin välillä lisää vastapäisestä leipomosta... Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja tulimme toimeen englannin kielellä. Hotellin asiakkaat vaihtuivat jatkuvasti, koska joka aamupalalla näimme eri ihmisiä. Meille hotelli tarjosi juuri sen mitä haimmekin, saimme hyvää palvelua, riittävän huoneen järkevään hintaan ja kulkeminen hotellille oli helppoa. "Hyggelig opphold!"
Ble møtt av utrolig hyggelig resepsjonist og fikk et OK rom i andre etg. Reiste alene men fikk tomannsrom (m/ to bad og et ekstra rom med sofa). Heisen var, som noen allerede har påpekt, bitteliten! Det var så vidt plass til meg og den lille bagasjen jeg hadde!! ;) Rommet var slitt, som man kan forvente seg til denne prisen, men det var OK standard […] og det ble gjort ordentlig rent hver dag. Badet var helt OK det også. Dusjen hadde godt trykk og nok varmt vann. Jeg valgte å ikke kjøpe frokost til Euro 10,- per dag. For den prisen kan man spise på en av de mange kafeene i nærheten. Må få nevne at jeg i løpet av de 5 dagene jeg bodde på hotellet møtte (og snakket med) 4-5 resepsjonister, og de var alle veldig profesjonelle og hyggelige. Topp service! Hotellet ligger ypperlig til i forhold til Metro (Simplon og Jules Joffrin). Brukte Metro'en hver dag, til forskjellige steder i byen. Jeg var også veldig fornøyd med den korte avstanden til Sacre Coeur! Gikk opp dit to kvelder og koste meg med å tusle i de koselige små gatene på vei til og fra. Et flott opphold på eit kjempegreit hotell. Anbefales absolutt. Eit par skifte med undergrunn, så var vi ved Seinens bredd. Ikkje noko luksushotell, men det treng ein vel ikkje i Paris. Billig og godt alternativ. God service og bra frokost!

Voilà j'ai effectué un séjour d'une durée de 5 jours dans l'hôtel, premier jour d'arrivé je me suis fait très bien accueillir par l'une des personnes en charge, qui m'as tout de suite bien expliqué et surtout très poli et agréable. Les jours suivant j'ai eut souvent plus a faire à d'autre personnes à l'accueil dont 2 hommes, l'un devait être le cadre […] est fut une personne fort amusante et très conviviale. Le service est impeccable, on est au calme et les bruits dans l'hôtel ne sont que faible ! On est très peu voir jamais déranger. En Bref c'est un hôtel que je recommande car il est proche de tout commerce d'un beau site de visite qui est l'église du Sacré-Coeur et surtout que les personnes vous accueillant sont généreuses et très agréable. "Très correct"
De passage pour une nuit, une chambre à lits jumeaux qui en fait se divise en deux petites chambres avec chacune TV, douche et WC. Très propre. Seul le matelas mériterait d'être changé. Très correct dans l'ensemble, une bonne surprise pour le prix payé.

Fin beliggenhed. Mange snørklede gange og trapper, vi følte os lidt indelukkede. Ingen elevator til de værelser, som lå på hotellets bagside. Vi havde udsigt til en væg og nogle faldstammer. Pænt rent, men temmelig slidt. Receptionisterne taler engelsk. Fin morgenmad

Ärligt nu - ett helt okej hotell för att vara i den den billiga prisklassen. Bodde där med min flickvän i fyra nätter och det var trevligt. Ej direkt lyhört. Nog en av de bättre (tvåstjärniga) hotellen i Montmartre. Nära till metron - Jules Joffrin. Rekommenderas för dig/er som ej har så mycket pengar i fickan, men som ändå vill bo på ett helt okej […] hotell. Read more

Great hotel not far from metro which takes you to the centre in no time. Breakfast was surprisingly great eventhough it's a small hotel. I can recommend this to anyone who wants to go to Paris and not pay too high a price. Aug. 20-25 2011
Værelset var noget mindre en vi havde regnet med, men meget fint og rent. Badeværelset var ret nyt og pænt. Rengøringen og skift af håndlæder var super. Alt i alt en god omlevelse, som vi vil anbefale til andre.

Het hotel is prima voor een bezoek aan Parijs. Je slaapt er alleen maar. De kamers waren schoon, niet groot en de douche is behoorlijk klein. Maar dat vind ik geen probleem, alleen als je nogal gezet bent is het lastig. De bedden lagen heerlijk. Je zit langs de weg, als je dat niet gewend bent, kun je er last van hebben. Het ontbijt is heerljk, luxe […] thee en koffie, vers stokbrood, kaas, ham, brie, boter, jam, muesli, warme en koude melk, jus d'orange. croissantjes, chocolade en rozijnenbroodjes. Allemaal vers, behalve het bruine brood. Elke dag schone handdoeken, opgemaakt bed. Aardig personeel dat ook engels spreek. Vijf minuten van de metro, kwartiertje van Place du Tertre. Vlakbij een supermarkt en andere heerlijke verswinkels. Ik zou er zo weer heen gaan. Read more
