This was possibly the best overnight stay we've ever had at a hotel. The beds were the most comfortable and we would like to find out the name of the mattresses for personal purchase. Room was as expected for the one night we stayed, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and featured a varied selection of hot and cold items. Breakfast area was very crowded and we sat in the lobby. Neighborhood was just ok and really unnerving was the man who came out of nowhere in the parking lot scamming guests for money. Not the hotels […] fault for sure and when we told staff they immediately went to investigate. 10 minutes later we saw this same man at a gas station 1/4 mile away scamming someone else. Very good value. Has exterior corridors but we felt safe. No smell in room which was a relief, generally we stay in newer hotels with interior corridors. What drew me were the awards this location received. I could tell the property was beginning to show some wear but overall it is in great shape. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Good hotel for the price. Location near lots of food, just off the interstate and staff was very friendly and accomondating. Large screen, flat panel tv was a surprise. Room was clean. Only problem was the bed which I found the mattress to be excessively hard and uncomfortable.

If you are looking for a 4 star room with a 2 star price this is it! The room felt like we were at a spa. My husband and I enjoyed this unexpected getaway. The bed slept great and the shower OMG!! After staying in this hotel a number of times, it is close to relatives, the staff knew us from other times that we stayed there, and treated us like family. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and very helpful when needed. I love the atmosphere created by the staff, the full breakfast is great. I will stay there again soon.

First motel in which we have stayed that had special holders for the TV remote in order to improve the disinfectant procedure of housekeeping. Dr. Oz said the two "most germ laden parts of any motel" are the doorknob and the TV Remote!! This property seems especially determined to be clean. Hurrah for them. Parking lot noise was so loud from 6 am on that we moved on to our destination with less than desired sleep. The room was clean and comfortable, but more money needs to be spent on sound proofing.

Room was nice, comfortable & clean. Continental breakfast was good although strange that they didn't have a pitcher of water for drinking. I had to walk out to the lobby (2 rooms away) to get water from the fountain. I would stay there again if needed.

I stayed in this hotel in my way to Orlando from Bloomington. The service desk was staffed with a nice lady who was very helpful. Check-in was fast and a couple of minutes later I was in my room. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a nice LG flat screen TV, Although not pristine, everything looked clean and the king size bed in my room […] allowed me for a relaxing night of sleep. Wireless internet in the room was reasonably fast (although I would avoid any serious remote work). Also, there are lots of restaurants nearby with decent dining options. In the morning, the hot breakfast was a surprise, especially considering the price I paid for the room. Clearly it was not the best breakfast I ever had in a hotel but it was more than satisfactory, with scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits, plus fresh fruits. It was a good deal for the money. Be aware that the 'indoor' pool is in a separate building. So you need to walk outdoors from your room to the pool/whirlpool. I decided not to try it; not a pleasant prospect when it's chilly and windy outside.

The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. They did not have a channel guide for the tv. It took 3 trips from the room back down to the front desk to get a key to work. The guy at the front desk said if it doesn't work this time, I'll have to call someone to come look at the door. I had to wait for someone to show up to work on the card and […] door. I had just driven 10 hrs, had 2 cats in the car and now had to stand there while someone jammed the card iin and out rapidly about 10 times to get the door to open. Bought some snacks from the vending machine and they were old and nasty tasting; went right in the trash. Concerned about safety of vehicle. I was pulling a small U-haul and guy at desk said to park under the lights up by the front door and make sure the trailer and vehicle were locked. Well of course I didn't sleep well as I kept getting up to check the vehicle. Would never stay here again. Read more

We were very pleased with our stay at Best Western Inns and Suites at Macon. Hotel staff was very pleasant, bedroom and bath very clean and comfortable, hotel was easily accessible and felt safe, and their pet policy is terrific...our golden retriever got to stay for $10.00 with no deposit! Highly recommend this hotel!
