Les chambres sont propres, confortables et l'hôtel est bien situé. Je m'attendais à une piscine intérieure, mais elle est seulement extérieure et non accessible avant le mois de juin. De plus, j'avais pris une chambre double affaires et j'ai été dans l'incapacité d'utiliser internet pendant mon séjour. Le service du personnel de l'accueil est inadéquat […] (la réceptionniste m'a fait sortir pour aller chercher mon porte-feuille et donner le dépôt pour seulement me dire par la suite que la chambre ne sera pas prête avant une heure). Pour le prix de la chambre, j'ai été déçue. Le déjeuner qui était inclus était très décevant et le tapis rétro et sale ainsi que la verrière ou nous avons déjeuner étaient très poussiéreuse et remplie de toiles d'araignée sur les plantes et lampes suspendues! "Poor customer service"

We booked into this hotel for 2 nights, the room is large and spacious but the fridge area was dirty and bathroom could have been cleaner, the air conditioning is set very low and almost impossible to adjust. Because it was raining we decided to eat in the restaurant. Very big mistake, we waited over an hour for chicken parmagna and filet mignonette well cooked, when the meal arrived it was cold and the filet was raw. On leaving the restaurant we went to reception to complain when we were told that they have a lot of complaints about the restaurant but that it did not belong to the hotel and they have no control over it. When I tried to explain to the girl at reception that they should advise customers of this as it reflects badly on the hotel she got very defensive and aggressive. I stated numerous times that we did not have a complaint against the hotel just the restaurant and in the end just walked away. We then decided we would only stay fro one night and booked out the next day. Unless something is done to make the restaurant better this hotel is getting the review it deserves
"Very good price / quality value"

I got a very good CAA rate for recent 2 night stay. This is a good bet, had stayed there when it was a Clarion before being sold to Choice hôtels. Comfortable beds and room with a fridge, 40 inch flatscreen tv, good location, outdoor pool. Didn't try onsite restaurant.

Not all the rooms have been renovated. We had an old one with the stinky carpet and the wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off, showing mold... We stay here every year for the balloon festival (paid by the festival because we are balloon pilots). The rooms are pretty dark even when it's sunny outside. Pretty depressing... The poor is very average, there is no gym, but you can go to the gym next door for 6$ every time. No meal is included and the restaurant is very average.

It is an older property, renovated, very well maintained. My room was clean and quiet. Good quiet AC and WiFi was ok. The bed was comfortable. I did not like paying extra for the breakfast just for being served with the coffee by the waiter. But, I have to say there were a lot of choices for the breakfast and I liked that. breakfast are is very large and there is a lot of space. Parking was ok, too. In any case I am recommending this property as the price was very good, circa $100CAN
"Dirty and overpriced, stay away,"

Stayed at this hotel with my young family for a weekend visit to attend a wedding happening nearby. Our room was outdated, musty and rusted. One of our double beds was broken at the end, causing whoever was sleeping there to practically roll off the bed onto the floor; maintenance and housekeeping offered no solution and basically told us to deal with it. The bathtub was grubby, rotted old tiles and a rusted sink, mould spots on the soap dish too. The pool was filthy and the supposed teenage "lifeguard" seemed annoyed to have to put down her iPhone and actually pay attention to my kids and I in the water. The front desk clerk was rude and condescending when trying to explain why several relatives of ours were given better, bigger rooms for cheaper than what we paid. Almost $300 for two nights at this dump, meanwhile the motel we stayed at a few days prior was clean, had friendly staff, a clean pool, and free breakfast, all for a third of the cost. We are not impressed and will likely never return to the "Quality" chain.

I've stayed in many hotels as I travel quite a bit. My latest stay was last weekend and I should have known when I first walked in just by the smell. 20 rear old carpets with 20 year old dirt. The room, a so called suite was nothing remotely close to a suite. 1 Queen size bed and an old and horribly uncomfortable pullout with a 3 foot high dividing wall. The floor was cheap dirty laminate and the bathroom was also dirty. Rust everywhere and for the duration of the stay, not once did we see a maid with a vacuum cleaner. Not once!! Anywhere in the hotel. Hotel keys, tv, wifi not working. Called front desk on numerous occasions but no answer. Go down to the front desk, no one there. Twice! They had the nerve to charge $139.00 per night plus taxes and "Resort Fees``. Never but never again!!
"Business Trip to Gatineau"

Staid 2 nights at Quality Inn, good room with mini refirgerator + microwave with laminate floor, comfortable king size bed, great service from reception desk staff. The WiFi has been upgraded since early July works great and is fast too. Only 2 floors with no elevator, easy parking, convenient to commute within Gatineau.
"Weekend at the Clarion in Gatineau"

We spent 2 nights at the Clarion in Gatineau. The room was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They are currently doing renovations at the from entrance and this was inconvenient, but once done, will be great. The price for the room was good. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed there for a two days conference and I can assure you I will not come back! Old, neglected, dirty... No elevator. Chipped paint. You do not want to put your bear feet on the carpet, sit on the sofa or touch the light switch. Staff at the reception desk seems annoyed by your presence, does not smile and is even rude. Wifi is not always working properly and you have to register all your devices: laptop, iPhone, iPad. You can hear what's going on in the next room. My alarm clock was set at 6:00 by the previous customer and not turned off: got me awake one hour early! First morning, I didn't want to use my breakfast voucher and asked for room service. It's seems a first for them. Took me three calls in the evening and two in the morning to have their continental breakfast. So poor was the food, I could not eat it and drank coffee instead. Took me more than 1:20 the next morning in the restaurant for breakfast. Conference rooms are as poor as the rest. Looking like mortuary salons. Alternatively cold and hot. Old boards and pens that doesn't work. Frankly, simply awful. And price is a rip off. Voyageur hotel, almost next door, is a much better choice.

This is a nice hotel and everything is fine except for the awkward breakfast arrangement. We were given coupons to visit the restaurant for a "continental breakfast". Since it is an operating restaurant doing business in the morning too, there was a 30 minutes wait time to get a table. Then you will have to wait another 10 mins for a waitress to take your order. If you don't buy from them but choose the free plate of continental breakfast (nothing more than just two pieces of pineapple and a plain croissant), there is another 10 mins wait. After that, wait again for a cup of coffee. This is not exactly what we expect for a convenient hotel breakfast.
