Built in 1799, an addition in 1848, faithfully restored and impeccably renovated in 1997, the Dr. Jonathan Pitney House, the home of the Father of Atlantic City is now a study in authenticity and beauty. All rooms and suites have private baths and gas fireplaces and each is decorated with antiques from either the colonial or Victorian eras. On the west side of the Commonyard sits the Doctors Guest Quarters with four charming suites. The Philadelphia suited is handicapped accessible, while the other three suites have whirlpools.
